Dual media slots

Concentrate on the shooting without worrying about storage
space. The FinePix S3 Pro features dual media slots, accepting
both xD-Picture Card™ and Microdrive™ media.

True professional quality

The newly developed 23.0 ×15.5mm Super CCD at the heart of
the FinePix S3 Pro ensures superb image quality for demanding
professional applications. This sophisticated imaging sensor deliv­ers greater sensitivity, higher S/N, wider dynamic range and consis­tently natural color reproduction.

Wide dynamic range

Expanded dynamic range dramatically broadens tonal response,
with exceptional smoothness and naturalness from bright highlights
to deep shadows. The result is three-dimensional realism through­out the tonal range.

Nikon F-mount lens compatibility

Industry-standard Nikon F-mount in the FinePix S3 Pro accommo­dates a full range of Nikkor F-series lenses (including AF-D, AF-G
and AF-S type professional optics).

D-TTL exposure metering system

Intelligent flash with D-TTL full-aperture exposure metering system
provides outstanding results with all Nikon-compatible speed lights.
This allows you to take advantage of a host of creative lighting
options, even on location.

Dual shutter release buttons

The FinePix S3 Pro is equipped with convenient dual shutter
release buttons to allow optimum comfort and stability in both hori­zontal and vertical orientations.

Dual LCD monitors

The 2.0-inch 235,000-pixel LCD monitor delivers crisp, clear
images and approx. 100% coverage of frame, as does the
viewfinder. The camera also has a convenient LCD data display to
indicate shooting information and settings.

Dual digital interfaces

The FinePix S3 Pro offers both high-speed IEEE1394 (for camera
control and data transfer) and USB 2.0 (for data transfer). These inter­faces save time as well as help minimizing transfer error.

Powered by 4 AA Ni-MH batteries

The FinePix S3 Pro is powered by commercially available AA-size
Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
