The Fujinon 6✕ optical zoom lens assures sharp,
high-impact images throughout its full range of
38 – 228mm (35mm camera equivalent).
The FinePix S3000 also offers up to 3.2✕ digital
zoom in 640 × 480-pixel mode, extending effective focal
length to an amazing 730mm equivalent. And you can fur-
ther expand your shooting horizons with the optional 0.79✕
Wide Conversion lens* and 1.5✕ Tele Conversion lens*.
* Equivalent to 30mm wide-angle and 342mm telephoto.
Note: Wide Conversion and Tele Conversion lenses are not recommended for flash

Fully automatic mode enables true
point-and-shoot operation. The camera
controls all parameters for capturing quality
pictures. The autofocus assures sharp
images, auto exposure automatically selects
the optimum aperture and shutter speed,
and intelligent auto-white balance adjusts for
lighting conditions to give you perfect colors
every time.
The Scene Position lets you choose
among four specific types of scene —
Landscape, Portrait, Sports and Night
Scene — for beautiful customized results.
