Select Exposure menu
X-ray exposure and image conrmation
Leave 10 cm (4 in.) or more space at both sides of the Image Reader to allow the cooling fans inside to intake and exhaust air.

Power ON
The monitor lamp changes from orange to blue.

Power ON
After the Console (PC) has booted, an application starts.

Click
When is clicked, the
conrmation window is shown.

Click
Conrm that “Shut­down the PC” is se-
lected and click [OK].

Power ON
Equipment initialization starts.

Check
When the Console (PC) shuts
down, the power supply is switched off automatically. To switch off the power independently, press the
(Stand-by Switch) for approximately 4 seconds.

Power OFF
Turn off the Main Power Switch.

Select
Select the Exposure
menu. The Read Image
window is displayed automatically.

Register
Register Patient ID,
Patient Name, Sex,
and Date of Birth. Click
when
the input of patient information has been completed.

Image Reading
• Slowly insert the cas­sette straight along the guide at the right.
• Before inserting the
cassette, remove the exposure marker from the cassette.

Check
Start the Image Viewer window and conrm
the image.

Click
When this is clicked,
the display returns to the Main window.
When a printer is connected, the image
is put out to lm.

Frequent messages and countermeasures
is displayed. / Images are not transferred.
Not transferred image data remain in the Image Reader. Do not switch off the power.
CAUTION
►Cause
- The read image data could not be transferred to the Console (PC).
- The power supply of the Console (PC) is switched off.
- No Exposure menu has been registered.
The cassette has not been inserted correctly.
►Cause
The cassette has not been inserted correctly into the Image Reader.
Do not pull out the cassette forcibly. A part of the device may become broken. If the IP protrudes out of the cassette pulled out, return the IP into the cassette and close the lid of the cassette.
CAUTION
Image reading is not completed.
►Cause
A cassette has been ejected without reading the images
exposed to IP.
Images remain on the IP. Repeat image reading.

Stop the buzzer.
Press the
(Stand-by Switch) to stop the buzzer.

Conrm the Console.
- Conrm correct operation of the Console (PC).
- When the main power of the Console (PC) is off, turn on the main power to start up the Console (PC).
- Conrm that an Exposure menu has been registered.

Conrm the cable connection.
- Conrm that the network cable connecting the Image
Reader and the HUB has not been disconnected.
- Conrm that the network cable connecting the Console
(PC) and the HUB has not been disconnected.
- Sometimes the error may be corrected by reconnecting the network cable.
- Conrm that the power cord for the HUB has not been
disconnected.

Stop the buzzer.
Press
(Stand-by Switch) to stop the buzzer. Press
(Stand-by Switch) again to clear the error indication.

Remove the cassette slowly.
Conrm that the
(Cassette Removal Lamp) and the
(Cassette Ready Lamp) are blinking alternately,
press the
(Stand-by Switch) again and then remove
the cassette.

Align the cassette to the right and insert it
slowly.
Conrm that the cassette is not upside down or switched
front/back. Insert the cassette following the operation instruction attached to the Image Reader.

Stop the buzzer.
Press
(Stand-by Switch) to stop the buzzer. Press
(Stand-by Switch) again to clear the error indication.

Remove the cassette.
Conrm that the
(Cassette Removal Lamp) and the
(Cassette Ready Lamp) are blinking alternately,
press the
(Stand-by Switch) again and then remove
the cassette.
3
Perform image reading.
Insert the removed cassette into the unit and perform image reading again.
