Heavy Duty Security Basin
Fixture Specification:
This Heavy Duty Security Basin is designed for areas requiring the utmost
in vandal resistance. The fixture is fabricated from heavy 14 gauge type 304
8-10 stainless steel. It is seamlessly welded and polished to a satin finish.

The fixture is tested and certified to:
ASME A112.19.3-2008/CSA B45.4-08 standards.
Installation:
These fixtures are designed to be installed onto finished walls which are
serviceable from a pipe chase. Installation is achieved by threading (4) 1/2"
(13mm) diameter anchor rods to the back of the fixture. The anchor rods are
then secured on the chase side of the wall with supplied hardware. (Standard
included hardware is for walls up to 8" (20cm) thick).
For existing walls, an optional metal cutout template is available. For new
block (CMU) or poured concrete walls, an optional wall sleeve is available.
Available Controls:
The basin is controlled with an air-operated self closing valve with a non-hold
open feature. Flow time is adjustable from approximately 5 to 60 seconds and
has a flow rate of 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm).The valve is operated bya vandal resistant
pushbuttonwhich requires less than5lbs to operate. The valvecan be mounted

up to 10 feet (3 meters) away from the push button. Valve conforms to the
requirements of ASME A112.18.1-2005/CSA B125.1-05. See basin valve
options for available configurations.
