3.3L Ti -VCT V6
Equipped with the standard powerplant, F-150 supplies plenty of working power to tow and haul. That’s a clean sweep in any truck buyer’s ledger. “Even the base 3.3L V6 had zero trouble hauling a 5,000-pound trailer,” says Motor Trend.
A dual-injection system features both direct injection and port fuel injection. Two injectors per cylinder – one mounted in the intake port and another inside the cylinder – improve power output and efficiency. A 6-speed automatic t ransmission with Select Shift® capability is paired with the 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine.
2.7L ECOBOOST
To understand an engine’s specif ic output, divide its horsepower by its displacement.
