Aligning the wind vane

Turn the vane housing until the aperture is
aligned with the hole in the casing.
If the aperture is not fully open, your wind
measurement data may not be accurate!

Drehen Sie die Windpropellerkugel, bis die
Öffnung mit der Aussparung im Gehäuse über­einstimmt.
Unvollständige Öffnung verfälscht die
Windmessdaten!

Mise en place de l’hélice

Tournez la sphère de protection de l’hélice de
manière à ce que son ouverture coïncide avec
l’espace vide du boîtier.
Un dégagement incomplet de l’hélice pourrait
nuire à la bonne mesure de la vitesse du vent.

Alineado del anemometro

Gire el casquillo que contiene las aspas hasta
que quede perfectamente orientado en su
alojamiento. Si esta operación no se realiza con
precaución, es posible que las lecturas del
instrumento no sean correctas.

Windmessung/Windchill-Messung

Halten Sie den Windwatch ruhig mit einer Hand
und richten Sie ihn mit ausgestrecktem Arm
genau in die Richtung, von der Sie den Wind
messen möchten.
Wenn Sie den Windwatch nach erfolgter Mes­sung aus der Windströmung nehmen, bleibt
der effektiv gemessene Durchschnittswert auf der
Anzeige ablesbar, bis dieser durch Drücken der
Reset-Taste wieder auf Null gesetzt wird.

Windchill measurement

Hold the Windwatch steady with one hand and
aim it with your arm stretched out in the precise
direction from which you would like to measure
the wind. If you take the Windwatch out of
the flow of wind after taking a measurement, the
measured average value remains displayed
until it is zeroed by pressing the reset button
again.

Tenez le Windwatch dans une main et dirigez-le,
le bras tendu et immobile, exactement dans la
direction où vous souhaitez mesurer le vent.
Lorsque vous retirerez le Windwatch du vent, la
valeur moyenne des mesures effectives restera
affichée à l’écran. Cette valeur peut être remise à
zéro en pressant sur la touche Reset .

Sostenga el anemómetro en su mano con el
brazo extendido en alto en la dirección de la que
proviene el viento. Una vez tomada la lectura,
la velocidad media del viento permanecerá
en pantalla hasta que pulse la tecla reset ,
dándole tiempo a realizar una lectura precisa.

Wählen der Geschwindigkeitsanzeige­Einheit

Durch wiederholtes kurzes Drücken der Funk­tionstaste kann die gewünschte Geschwindig­keitseinheit angewählt werden (Knoten, km/h,
m/s, mph, beaufort).
Die zuletzt gewählte Einheit bleibt beim Aus­schalten des Windwatch gespeichert.

Selecting the speed display unit

Repeated pressing of the function button will
allow you to select the desired speed unit (knots,
km/h, m/s, mph, Beaufort).
The unit last selected is saved when the
Windwatch is switched off.

Choix de l’unité de la vitesse

En pressant à plusieurs reprises sur la touche
de fonction , les différentes unités de mesure
de la vitesse du vent défilent à l’affichage
(noeuds, km/h, m/s, mph, beaufort).
La dernière valeur choisie restera mémorisée
après la mise hors tension du Windwatch.

Selección de la unidad de velocidad
en la pantalla

Pulsando de manera repetida la tecla function
podremos seleccionar la unidad de velocidad
deseada (Nudos, Kilómetros hora, metros por se­gundo, escala Beaufort). La última unidad
seleccionada es la que el instrumento guardará
en memoria, aún si este se apaga.

Cambiar pantalla de función anemó­metro a función temperatura

Pulsar la tecla function durante 4 segundos
para pasar de una función a otra. La última
pantalla seleccionada será la que el instrumento
guarde en memoria cuando lo apaguemos. El
valor medido no quedará en memoria al apagar
el anemómetro.

Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste ca. 4 Sekun­den um zwischen den beiden Anzeigen hin und
her zu wechseln. Die zuletzt angewählte An­zeige bleibt beim Ausschalten des Windwatch
aktuell und wird beim Wiedereinschalten
automatisch angewählt. Die Messdaten werden
nicht gespeichert.

Changing from the speed display to the
temperature display

Press the function button for approximately
4 seconds to alternate between the two displays.
The function and unit last selected is saved
when the Windwatch is switched off and is
automatically selected when it is switched on
again. The data measured is not saved.

Commutation entre l’affichage de la
vitesse et de la température

Pressez pendant environ 4 secondes sur la touche
de fonction pour passer de l’affichage de la
vitesse à l’affichage de la température. Le dernier
affichage sélectionné restera mémorisé après
avoir mis l’instrument hors tension et réapparaî­tra automatique lors de la remise sous tension
de l’instrument.
Les données mesurées ne sont pas mémorisées.
