Battery Replacement

“AAA” (LR03)
For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that came with this toy with three, new “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment on ogre’s foot.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the door. Remove the exhausted batteries and dispose of them properly.
• Insert three “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.
• If this product begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power switch off and back on.
• When sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries.
• Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities.
Battery Safety
Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Care
• Wipe this toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Do not immerse.
• This toy has no consumer serviceable parts. Do not take apart.

Power Switch
• Slide the power switch on ogre’s foot to ON or OFF .
• Squeeze the handle on ogre’s back to open and close ogre’s arms and hear sounds. Or, grasp the handle and walk ogre along for stomping sounds.
• Press ogre’s tongue for chomping sounds!

• Take ogre to the castle (sold separately and subject to availability). The castle will recognize and respond to him!
Recognition Tips:
• The maximum range between the castle and ogre is 12 feet (3,7 m).
• Bright sunlight or fluorescent lights may affect this range. Try dimming the light in the room you are playing in.
• Make sure there is a clear path between ogre and the castle and there are no obstructions between them.
