laboratory.
The long service life of Festool products is
legendary, for good reason. An example
is the rigourous testing procedures
that each newly developed tool must
go through before it is released for
general sale. The removal of old
lacquer, paint and wood as well as
the sanding of more demanding
materials such as concrete, steel
and plaster formed part of the
ROTEX test program. Drop tests,
intentional operating errors
and impact testing with the
sanding pad were also
included.
The ROTEX passed every
test with ying colours
and fully deserves its
Festool name.
