trimmer with battery in. Remove
battery pack when not in use,
changing blades or servicing.
2. Avoid dangerous environments.
Never operate your unit in damp or wet
conditions. Moisture is a shock hazard.
3. Do NOT use the hand held
trimmer in the rain.
4. Do NOT handle the unit with wet
hands.
5. Use the right tool for the right job.
Use the unit only as described in this
manual. Do NOT use for any job except
that for which it is intended.
6. Don’t overreach – Keep proper footing
and balance at all times.
7. Keep hair, loose clothing, dangling
jewelry, fingers and parts of the body
away from openings and moving parts.
8. Do NOT allow to be used as a toy.
Close attention is necessary when used
by or near children.
9. Risk of injury. Moving blades will
cause harm. Keep hands away from
moving parts while in use.
10. Do NOT attempt to remove cut
material or hold material to be cut
when the blades are moving.
Make sure the battery is removed from
unit when clearing jammed
material from blades. Do NOT
grasp the exposed cutting blades or
cutting edges when picking up or
holding the unit.
11. Before each use, inspect your unit
thoroughly for loose or damaged
parts. Do NOT use until adjustments or
repairs have been made.
12. Store unit indoors, with battery pack
removed.
13. Check damaged parts – Before
further use of the unit, a guard or

be carefully checked to determine
that it will operate properly and
perform its intended function. Check
for alignment of moving parts,
binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts, mounting, and any other
condition that may affect its
operation. A guard or other part that
is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced by an
authorized service center unless
indicated elsewhere in this manual.
14. A battery operated tool with integral
batteries or a separate battery pack
must be recharged only with the
specified charger for the battery. A
charger that may be suitable for one
type of battery may create a risk of
fire when unused with another
battery.
15. Always disconnect battery pack
from unit before making any
adjustments, changing blades or
storing the unit. Such preventive
measures reduce the risk of
starting the tool accidentally.
16. When battery pack is not in use,
keep it away from other metal
objects such as paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws, etc. that can
make a connection from one
terminal to the other. Shorting the
battery terminals together may
cause sparks, burns or a fire.
17. Use the unit in daylight or good
artificial light.

foreign objects being thrown in the eyes. This can lead to severe
eye damage. Before commencing power tool operation always
wear safety glasses or goggles that are marked as meeting ANSI
Z87.1 standards and a full face shield when needed.
