6 TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUTION !
Before proceeding with the troubleshooting, disconnect the cooker from the electricity supply to
avoid the possibility of electric shock.
•
During the guarantee period all repairs, except for the mentioned above, must be done by an
Authorized Service.
•
After the guarantee period an authorized service shall be called for to periodically check the appliance.
•
In case of disturbances in the cooker operation, check the guidelines below to find out if you are able to
remedy the problem by yourselves.
Oven lightening does not function
If the oven has been operated and is still hot, wait until it cools down.
• Bulb is not screwed all the way in – unscrew glass bowl 1 from the
lamp socket 2, and screw the bulb 3 all the way (fig. 28).
• Burnt bulb – unscrew the glass bowl 1 of the lamp and replace the
bulb 3 with a new one featuring the following parameters: type E14
230V 25W, temperature resistance 300
0
C.

Gas does not light up
•
Dirty injector or flame openings in the burner. Close the burner knobs, clean and dry carefully all its
parts, and unblock the injector with a fine copper wire. You must not use steel wire or enlarge the
opening.
Too much smoke in the oven
• When grilling the generated smoke is a normal condition. Decreasing the temperature or reducing the
amounts of fat and water in baking dish can reduce the amount of smoke.
• Dirty turnspit. The fat left on the turnspit from the previous usage will burn for some time and thus
generate smoke. Take care to clean it thoroughly after each use.
Sparker does not light the gas (no spark)
• Power failure. Check if the cooker is connected to the electric installation. Check the main fuse – if it is
burned replace it.
• There is dirt between the burner and the sparker or the burners and sparkers are wet. Carefully clean,
then dry the burners and the sparkers.
