Thank you for purchasing the etón Soulra, an iPhone® and/or iPod® sound device with beautiful
audio, which operates from the rechargeable Li-ion battery or the AC adapter and can be
charged by the solar panel or the AC adapter. Please read this owner’s manual to get a good

PLUGGING IN THE AC ADAPTER
The Soulra comes equipped with an AC adapter. Plug the AC adapter into the right socket labeled
DC, under the rubber plug on the back of the Soulra; plug the other end into an AC socket. With
the AC adapter plugged in, the Soulra starts charging its Li-ion battery and is ready to play.
iPod/iPhone CHARGING

The iPod / iPhone starts charging once it is inserted. When the Soulra’s POWER is OFF it can still
charge your iPod/iPhone. Please be advised that leaving your iPod/iPhone after it has received a
full charge from the Soulra, will continue to drain the Soulra’s internal battery.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Adjust the volume buttons, , to increase or decrease the volume. The volume value will be
shown on the iPhone if it is inserted.

BASS BOOST FUNCTION
Press the button to turn on Bass Boost.
MODE
The MODE button switches between the iPod and AUX-in if there is a signal input from the
port of the AUX-IN. The iPod signal takes priority if there is an iPod signal and an AUX-in signal
at the same time. If the AUX-in signal is existent (aux_det), the switching function of the MODE
button is available.
PLAY/PAUSE
Pressing the button switches from play to pause for the iPod.

Pressing these buttons, , selects previous track/next track with a short press; hold
down to scrub forward/reverse.

To obtain service for your product, we recommend rst contacting an Etón service

determination and trouble-shooting. If further service is required, the technical staff will

instruct how to proceed based on whether the radio is still under warranty or needs
non-warranty service.
WARRANTY – If your product is still in warranty and the Etón service representative determines
that warranty service is needed, a return authorization will be issued and instructions for
shipment to an authorized warranty repair facility. Do not ship your radio back without obtaining
the return authorization number.

NON-WARRANTY – If your product is no longer under warranty and requires service our technical
staff will refer you to the nearest repair facility that will be able to best handle the repair. For
service outside of North America, please refer to the distributor information included at time of

CONEXIÓN DEL ADATADOR AC
El Soulra viene equipado con un adaptador AC. Conecte el adaptador AC en la toma derecha
etiquetada DC, bajo el tapón de caucho en la parte posterior del Soulra; conecte la otra punta en
la toma AC. Con el adaptador AC conectado, el Soulra comienza a cargar sus baterías Li-ion y está
listo para funcionar.

El iPod / iPhone comienza a cargar una vez este es insertado. Cuando el Soulra esté apagado aún
se cargará su iPod/iPhone. Tenga en cuenta que dejar su iPod/iPhone después de cargarlo por
completo en el Soulra, continuará gastando la batería interna del Soulra.
AJUSTE DEL VOLUMEN
Utilice los botones de ajuste del volumen, , para subir o bajar el volumen. El valor del
volumen se mostrará en el iPhone si este está insertado.

Presione el botón de Graves para incrementar los graves.
MODO
El botón de MODO cambia entre la entrada para iPod y AUX-in si hay alguna señal de
entrada desde el puerto AUX-IN. La señal del iPod tiene prioridad y se reciben ambas señales
la vez. Si existe una señal en AUX-in (aux_det), la función de cambio del botón MODO
está disponible.

BRANCHEMENT DE L’ADAPTATEUR SECTEUR
Le Soulra est équipé d’un adaptateur secteur. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur dans la che de
droite étiquetée DC, sous la prise en caoutchouc à l’arrière du Soulra; branchez l’autre extrémité
dans une prise secteur. Avec l’adaptateur secteur branché, le Soulra commence à charger la
batterie au Li-ion et l’appareil est prêt à être utilisé.
CHARGEMENT iPod/iPhone

L’iPod / iPhone commence à se charger une fois inséré. Lorsque l’alimentation du Soulra est
éteinte, il peut continuer à charger votre iPod/iPhone. Veuillez faire attention qu’en laissant
votre iPod/iPhone, après avoir reçu une pleine charge de Soulra, il continuera à utiliser la batterie
interne du Soulra.
RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME
Réglez les boutons du volume, , pour augmenter ou diminuer le volume. La valeur du

Le bouton MODE commute entre iPod et AUX-in s’il y a une entrée de signal à partir du port

Si le signal AUX-in existe (aux_det), la fonction de commutation du bouton MODE est disponible.

AC NETZTEIL EINSTECKEN
Der Soulra wird zusammen mit einem AC-Adapter ausgeliefert. Den AC-Netzadapter in die rechte
Buchse mit der Bezeichnung DC einstecken; das andere Ende in eine Steckdose einstecken.
Wenn das AC-Netzteil eingesteckt ist, beginnt der Soulra umgehend mit dem Auaden der
Lithium-Ionen Batterie und mit der Wiedergabe.
iPod/iPhone AUFLADEN

Das iPod / iPhone beginnt mit dem Auaden sobald es eingesteckt wird. Auch bei
ausgeschaltetem Soulra wird der iPod/iPhone weiter aufgeladen. Bitte beachten Sie dabei,
dass ein eingestecktes und bereits geladenes iPod/iPhone weiterhin Strom aus dem
Batterie des Soulra bezieht.
LAUTSTÄRKE EINSTELLEN
Mit den Lautstärketasten, , die Lautstärke verringern oder verstärken. Die gegenwärtige
Lautstärke wird an einem eingesteckten iPhone angezeigt.

MODUS
Die MODE Taste schaltet zwischen dem iPod und AUX-in hin und her wenn ein
Signaleingang über die AUX-IN Buchse erfolgt. Das iPod Signal hat Priorität wenn ein iPod und
ein AUX-in Signal zur selben Zeit eingeht. Wenn ein AUX-in Signal vorliegt (aux_def.), ist die
Umschaltfunktion der MODE-Taste verfügbar.
