3. Usage in Accordance with Requirements
The illumination may be mounted individually by on top of existing signs. The professional sign illumination is available in three different lengths and may thus be used for different sign lengths. The illumination is automatically activated at darkness and deactivated at morning light. The maximum illumination duration with a full accumulator and without recharging is approximately 25 hours. The solar module installed in the upper part of the housing charges the integrated accumulator. Note: Please make sure that the solar module is preferably directed to the South, the East or the West and that shadows are avoided. When directing the module to the North it is not possible to use the product. The

5. Exchanging the accumulator pack
After one to two years, the capacity of the accumulator packs will decrease. It is then required to exchange all accumulator packs. The accumulator packs are available in the shops or from the manufacturer. It is only allowed to use an identical accumulator pack with the same electrical values (at least 1300 mAh).
1. Open the housings as described above and extract the plug of the accumulator packs from the circuit board (point 4).
2. Open the accumulator housing by pressing the two lateral locks (point 5).
3. Remove all accumulator packs from the housing, insert the new accumulator packs and close the lid of the battery compartment (point 6).
4. Re-insert the plug of the accumulator packs into the bush on the electronics (point 4).
5. Close the housing in reverse order.
Note: Used batteries or accumulators must be disposed of in a non-polluting way and do not belong into the domestic waste. Your dealer is legally obliged to take back and recycle old accumulators.
6. Malfunctions

- Is the lamp connected?
- Accumulator weak or defective. Exchange of the accumulators.
