These instructions relate ONLY to this product and contain important information for
using the product for the first time. Please keep these instructions for later reference
and should always accompany the product in the event of transference to a new user.

1. Introduction

Dear Costumer,
Thank you for purchasing the solar light. With this solar light you purchased a product
manufactured according to the current state of technology.

To maintain this state and guarantee a safe operation, you as the user will have to
follow this operating manual!

2. Safety Instructions

- In these cases any guarantee rights will expire.

Due to safety and admission reasons (CE) it is not allowed to arbitrarily reconstruct
and/or change the product.
Therefore, please keep to the operating manual.
The accident prevention rules of the association of the industrial trade cooperative
association for electric plants and working material are to be considered in industrial
environments.

3. Usage in Accordance with Requirements

The pond aerator is intended for the aeration of the pond. It oats freely on the water

surface. When the sun is shining, the solar modules supply the integrated air pump
with energy. Depending on the solar radiation, the pond aerator works stronger or
weaker. The enclosed air hose may be cut off depending on the depth of the water. In
doing so, please make sure that the air stone does not rest on the pond bottom. This
would lead to a too fast contamination of the air stone. The air is sucked in through 2

holes at the upper side of the oating body and is pressed downward. In case water

should be on this surface due to rain or watering of the garden, then this water would
simply be pressed into the pond by the pump. The pond aerator will not be damaged
by this water.

Note: The pond aerator has to be taken out of the water in case of frost!

This product fulfils all requirements of the valid European and
national regulations. The conformity was proved. The relevant
declarations and documentation are deposited with the manu­facturer.

5. Care and Maintenance

The performance of the pond aerator will decline signicantly in case algae growth

should become apparent on the surface of the solar cell. Please take the aerator out
of the water and clean the solar cells with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
Note: Never use abrasive cleansers or abrasive sponges.

Over time, the air stone may be populated by algae. In this case, the air stone should

be replaced by a new one. Cleaning is mostly ineffective.

In case of frost, the pond aerator has to be taken out of the water. During the winter it
has to be stored at a frost-free place freshly cleaned. An annual exchange of the air
stone is imperative.

6. Malfunctions

No aeration of the pond despite solar radiation!

1. Is the module shadow-free irradiated by the sun?

the product in future, please consider that it contains valuable raw
materials suited for recycling.
Therefore, do not dispose it of with domestic waste but bring it to a
collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic
equipment.

4. Start-up

1. Please carefully take out all parts out of the package.

2. Measure the depth of the water and cut off the air hose accordingly.

3. Now attach the air stone onto the air hose (1).

4. Insert the air hose into the „OUTLET“ at the bottom side of the oating body (2).

If required, you may limit the range of the oating body. For this purpose, simply
take a cord and fasten the oating body to the notch opposite the air outlet (3).

5. Now place the oating body with the solar cells facing upward onto the pond.
Your pond will now be aerated when the sun is shining.
