Overview
This product is an input/output device for the IR-310/320. This unit
has the following features:
❏ A High resolution display of 800 x 600 dots, using a 12.1" color TFT
LCD

❏ Input data by a touching on the touch panel with a finger or
exclusive pen
❏ Water-resistant surface on the touch panel equivalent to IEC 529
IPX1 (JIS C 0920 waterproof Class I)
❏ Slide adjustment for easy positioning of screen viewing angle
(except for the touch panel)

Before Using
Attach the ferrite core which is included with the IR-310/320 to the
cable (34 Pin) of the LCD unit.
Peel the protection sheet off of the LCD display surface before
using this unit.

Part Names

Power LED
Power LED has the following meanings:
LED color Meaning
Green Power is on (Normal operation).
Flashing Green Backup is in progress using power from the battery unit
(OI-R03.)
OFF Power is off.
HDD Access LED
On when the HDD is being accessed.
LCD Brightness Adjustment Buttons
Adjusts the LCD brightness.
LCD Lock Lever
When this lever is pressed, you can adjust the position of the LCD
panel up and down to set the screen in place at the best position.
After adjusting the LCD panel for best visibility, release the lock
lever to lock the LCD and then move the LCD slightly up and down
to firmly fix it.

A MSR unit (DM-MR111/DM-MR123) or a 28 keyboard unit
(DM-KR028) can be connected.

Precautions During Use

❏ Communication conditions for the touch panel cannot be changed.
Be sure to set the appropriate values to suit the hardware
specifications in the application software.
❏ When the touch panel becomes dirty, wipe its surface lightly with a
soft cloth or a cloth moistened with ethyl alcohol.
❏ Be sure to use your finger or a polyacetal pen to input data to the
touch panel.
❏ When VGA mode is selected, the display will not fill the screen and
is centered on the screen.
❏ Though the TFT LCD panel is manufacured using a highly
developed technology, some pixels may always be on or off, or
uneven brightness or color may occur. Note that this may not be a
malfunction if it occurs.
❏ Calibration of the touch panel is required in the following cases:
• When this product is first used
• When misalignment occurs between the touching position on
the touch panel and the mouse cursor position

❏ There is a laminate seal on the switch panel. It is not a defect if it
comes off.
❏ Before this unit is connected to the system, attach the ferrite core
(accessory of the IR-310/320) to the cable (34 Pin).
