Description

The NetReach™ BUP Series is a self­contained building entrance terminal
for indoor or outdoor applications. The
enclosure is manufactured of heavy
gauge mill-galvanized steel treated with
a unique finishing process for longer
life. Input connection options include
field splice tail, 3M
connectors, 710 dry and gel connectors
or cable stub. Outgoing pair distribution
options are RLS IDC or binding post screw
down terminal blocks.

5-pin protector modules are housed in
a sealed chamber-within-a-chamber for
maximum environmental protection,
which is especially important for outdoor
applications. All UL listed standard 5-pin
protector modules may be used with this
line of enclosures.

4005 dry and gel

The NetReach

™

BUP Series is wall or pole­mountable. A new resealable stacking
feature, which permits stacking up to
300 pairs, is standard on all units
(stacking kit ordered separately). This
removable seal replaces the traditional
top exit knock out and is easily removed
without damaging the cabinet. All units
accept either a 28" or 52" cable skirt,
providing protection to the feeder and
distribution cable from incidental contact
and the environment (cable skirts
ordered separately). A quarter turn with a
216-type can wrench (Emerson catalog
no. 15 or 38) is all that is required to
open the unit. For further security, each
unit is also equipped with a padlock hasp.

protection, termination, and distribution
between the central office and the
subscriber premises.

Potential application locations include
multi-tenant dwelling complexes,
hospitals, factories, shopping strip malls,
schools, and campus environments.
