The Power Assurance Package is a ve-year, hassle-free, comprehensive
protection solution for the Liebert GXT UPS. It offers the industry’s most
effective lifecycle support for micro/small UPS systems and helps simplify
deployment and maintenance, frees up IT staff time and enables power delivery
for critical IT spaces.
The Power Assurance Package uniquely combines worry-free power protection
solutions in the 0.5–10 kVA range with service and support tailored specically
to your needs with a four-hour, on-site response. Throughout its ve-year
lifecycle, the package provides several critical protection services delivered by
Emerson Network Power factory-authorized technicians.
Services include:
On-Site Start Up: Installation and start-up of UPS and internal batteries
(excludes hard-wired applications), conguration of new UPS and accessories,
and, if purchased, safe removal and disposal of old UPS and batteries.
On-Site Service Support: 7X24 support (within 150 miles of regional service
center) and 100 percent labor and travel coverage.
100% Parts Coverage: For internal batteries, POD (Power Output
Distribution) and web card.
7X24 Access to Customer Resolution Center and on-line access to Customer
Services Network.
Preventative Maintenance in third to fth year for 5–10kVA models only.
Liebert® GXT™ UPS
The Liebert GXT UPS is a single-phase, double conversion
on-line UPS system, available in a wide range of
high-capacity models. This UPS provides best-in-class
affordability while still meeting the need for higher power
capacities and availability in small spaces. And
its technology ensures the cleanest power to your IT
systems equipment.
Because the Liebert GXT is a double conversion UPS, it
protects equipment from virtually all power disturbances
due to blackouts, brownouts, sags, surges or noise
interference by providing better power conditioning than
line-interactive systems. It features optional integrated
maintenance bypass, long-lasting internal batteries and
dual output voltage. And optional extended battery
runtime is also available.
The Liebert GXT UPS is designed for use in either rack or
tower congurations. It is an ideal t for applications where
the power requirements are demanding, but space is limited,
making it well suited for network closets or small data centers.

U.S. Department Store Chain
A major upscale, national department store chain has 299
Liebert GXT3 3kVA UPS Systems, external batteries and
Liebert MicroPODs installed throughout its locations across
28 states in the U.S. These solutions were installed as part
of all-company upgrade from Liebert GXT2™ UPS Systems.
With the discontinuation of the Liebert GXT2 UPS, an
upgrade to Liebert GXT3 UPS was imperative, and the
company had limited staff resources to complete the
service and removal of existing units.
As a satised Emerson Network Power customer, the
company wanted to stay with our solutions. Specically,
the company was attracted to the on-line, double
conversion technology in the Liebert GXT3 UPS, the
swap-ability of the Liebert MicroPOD™ to ensure stores
weren’t negatively impacted during installation or removal,
