PREPARA TION FOR USE
POWER SOURCES
This personal stereo radio with AM/FM/TV and Weather Band digital tuner is
designed to operate on one alkaline “AAA” battery, not included. Attempting to
operate this unit on any other power source may cause damage to the unit and
such damage is not covered by your warranty.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
The battery compartment is located on the back-side of the radio cabinet.
1.) Press down on the mark on the battery cover and slide the cover in the
direction of the arrow.
2.) Insert one fresh “AAA” alkaline battery in the battery compartment. Be sure to
follow the polarity making in the battery compartment. If the battery is inserted
incorrectly the unit will not work.
3.) Replace the battery compartment cover.
WHEN TO CHANGE THE BATTERY
When the Battery Indicator begins to “empty” the batteries are getting weak.
When the indicator starts flashing in the display the battery is almost exhausted
and should be changed as soon as possible. Do not leave a weak or exhausted
battery in the radio as it will eventually leak and cause corrosion inside the battery
compartment.
