The unit must be in perfect working condition. Damaged parts may lead to personal injury.
2. Use only as directed
• Connect the unit according to the instructions in the manual.
3. Location
• Install the unit on a level surface only
• When choosing the location for this device do not place them in locations that are:
• In direct sunlight
• Very humid
• Prone to vibrations
• Exceptionally hot or cold
Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not install this device in a closed rack or in a closed cupboard.
• Do not put burning candles on or near the device.
• Do not install the device near transformers because electromagnetic stray fields can cause hum
noise on woofers.
4. Service
DANGER! Do not open the cabinet because the components and conductors may carry dangerous levels
electricity! Servicing to be carried out by qualified service personnel only.
Servicing is required when the loudspeaker has been damaged in any way, such as damage to
the power supply cord or the plug, or when liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
loudspeaker, the speaker has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open the loudspeaker. Servicing to be carried out
by qualified service personnel only.

5. Cleaning
NOTE: Clean only with soft, smooth cloth or with dust brush. Do not use scouring agents, alcohol,
benzene, furniture polish or other agents for cleaning! Modern furniture is often coated with multiple
varnishes and plastics which can be treated with chemical agents. Some of these agents contain
substances which degrade or soften the rubber feet.
6. Disposal
The packaging is made from recyclable materials. Dispose of this in an environmentally friendly manner.
At end of life do not dispose the speaker with the standard household waste. The speaker must be
recycled in accordance with local legislation. Ask your local government for further information on
recycling as the device contains valuable raw materials. Disable the speaker before disposal.
7. Power
This unit is only intended to be connected to voltages that are listed on the rear panel of the cabinet.
Connection to any other voltage may cause irreversible damage to the subwoofer and will void the
warranty. Use of plug adapters is not recommended because they may allow connection to voltages
other than those printed on the back of this subwoofer.
8. Compliance Information for the Wireless Transmitter
The term “IC:” before the radio certification number only signifies that Industry Canada technical
specifications were met. This equipment complies with FCC and IC radiation exposure limits set forth for
an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance
20cm between the radiator and your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in
conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2)
this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of
the device.
To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so
chosen that the equivalent isotopically radiated power is not more than that permitted for successful
communication.

1. Multi-Function LED—This LED is used to show the current status of the Discovery Connect.
• The brightness of this LED can be changed using the free iOS/Android App or web interface.
• Please refer to separate sections of this manual for further explanations of the LED status
2. Power Input— Used for providing power to the unit from the included AC power supply.
3. Output 1—Provides native digital output from the Discovery Music Server and Roon Cores.
4. Ethernet Input—Use this when connecting the Discovery Connect to your wired home network (Best solution).
See page 5 for how to connect to a wireless network.
5. Bluetooth Pair/Reset Button— Used to begin the Bluetooth Pairing Process for audio devices.
6. Wireless Pair Button—This button is used to pair the Discovery Connect with other AirX products.—See

Connecting to your Home Network

Wired Connection
1. Connect an Ethernet cable (Not provided) to an available LAN port on your router or switch to the Ethernet
input on the back of the Discovery Connect.
2. Apply power to the Discovery Connect by connecting the power cord to an available outlet and to the power
input on the Connect.
3. The status LED will begin flashing during the power on phase and will go solid once it has connected to the
network and is ready to play music.
Wi-Fi Connection
1. Download the Discovery Connect App from the Google Play store or Apple App Store.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone/tablet and launch the Discovery Connect Application.
3. The app should find the Discovery Connect as shown in the Fig. 1
4. Select the Discovery Connect and you will be taken to the main menu. Select WiFi Setup from the top.
5. You will be shown a list of all available wireless networks as shown in Fig 2. Find yours and select it. If your
network is password protected please enter the password as shown in Fig. 3 and choose submit. The unit will
reboot and you will connected to your home network.

Connecting the Discovery Connect
Output 1—Native Digital Output
Output 1 –Provides a native digital output from the Discovery Connect. With no sample rate conversion for
content up to 192khz 24-Bit quality. This output does not support AirPlay, Bluetooth or Spotify Connect. Simply
connect the optical/coaxial output from the Discovery Connect to the Optical Input on your integrated amp/
receiver/preamp/DAC.
Output 2—Analog and Digital Output Combined Output
Output 2 –Provides both digital and analog outputs from the Discovery Connect. All content is sample rate
converted to 96kHz 24-Bit unless the AirX2 output is activated. In this case, content is sample rate converted
to 44.1kHz 16-Bit. This output supports Roon Ready, Discovery Ready, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, and Bluetooth
content.

Using with the Discovery Music Server or Roon Core
Enabling the Discovery Connect in Roon/Roon Essentials
After connecting the Discovery Connect to your home network, launch Roon/Roon Essentials on your PC or
tablet. Go to Settings and then Audio. A list of all available audio devices will be listed. Locate the Discovery
Connect and click enable. You can also change the default name for the Connect. Now, the Discovery Connect
will be available in the audio output section of the Roon/Roon Essentials Application.

Using Spotify Connect
Using Spotify Connect
1. If you have already connected the Discovery Connect to your home network, proceed to step 2. If you have
not connected it to your home network please go to page 7 and complete the steps. Then return to step 2 on
this page.
2. Download, install and login to the Spotify App on your phone/tablet/PC. Spotify Connect requires a Premium
subscription to use this feature.
3. Start the Spotify App and you will see “Device Available” text at the bottom of the app. Click on this and you
will be presented will all of the Spotify Connect devices available. Select the Discovery Connect and now
music will start playing on the Discovery Connect.
Note: The volume control on your phone and in the Spotify app will now be linked with the volume control on
the Discovery Connect.

Note: Please note that this process is only for playing back audio from your Bluetooth device. It is not necessary
to pair your device when using the App.
You can begin the paring process by using the smartphone application or the pairing button on the rear panel.
Rear Panel Pairing Process
1. Press and hold the BT Pair button (Fig 1) for 5 seconds or until the LED status light begins flashing red.
2. Go to the Bluetooth settings section on your smartphone and scan for new devices (Fig 2). Select the
Discovery Connect from the list of available devices. It prompted for a pass code, accept that one that is
displayed on your device and choose pair/connect. All audio from your connected device will now come
from the Discovery Z3. Please note that when using Bluetooth you wil have two volume controls (Phone
and Z3)
App Pairing Process
1. Download and install the Discovery Connect App from the Google Play
Store or Apple App Store
2. Launch the App and select the Discovery Connect from the list of devices
(If this is your first time using the app). On t he Control page activate
the Bluetooth Discoverable On/O selection (Fig 3).
3. Go to the Bluetooth settings section on your smartphone and scan for
new devices (Fig 2). Select the Discovery Connect from the list of
available devices. It prompted for a pass code, accept that one that is
displayed on your device and choose pair/connect.

• Pairing the wireless transmitter with other AirX products is very simple. Please follow the below steps to
complete the process.
1. Press and hold the Wireless Pair button on the AirX compatible subwoofer or speakers until the LED begins
to flash rapidly (Around 2 times per second).
2. Press and hold the Wireless Pair button on the back of the Discovery Connect until the wireless pair LED on
the subwoofer or Argo Speakers stops flashing and goes o (No LED means the speaker is wirelessly paired.)
3. Repeat with additional speakers/subwoofers (Up to 3 units)

5. Nettoyage
REMARQUE : Nettoyez uniquement avec un chion doux et souple ou une brosse à dépoussiérer.
N’utilisez pas de produits abrasifs, d’alcool, de benzène, de cire pour meubles ou autres produits de
nettoyage! Les meubles modernes sont souvent revêtus de multiples couches de vernis et de plastique
qui peuvent être traités avec des agents chimiques. Certains de ces agents contiennent des substances
qui dégradent ou ramollissent les pieds en caoutchouc.
6. Mise au rebut
L’emballage est fabriqué à partir de matériaux recyclables. Mettez l’appareil au rebut de façon
écologique. Au terme de son cycle de vie, ne jetez pas le haut-parleur avec les ordures ménagères.
Les haut-parleurs doivent être recyclés conformément à la réglementation locale. Informez-vous auprès
de vos autorités locales pour obtenir de plus amples renseignements sur le recyclage, car l’appareil
contient des matières premières précieuses. Désactivez le haut-parleur avant de le mettre au rebut.
7. Électricité
Cet appareil est uniquement destiné à être connecté aux tensions répertoriées sur le panneau arrière

1. Voyant DEL multifonction – Ce voyant est utilisé pour acher l’état actuel du Discovery Connect.

Connexion par câble
1. Branchez un câble Ethernet (non fourni) à un port LAN de votre routeur ou de votre commutateur à l’entrée
Ethernet située à l’arrière du Discovery Connect.
2. Mettez le Discovery Connect sous tension en branchant le cordon d’alimentation à une prise et à l’entrée
d’alimentation du Connect.
3. Le voyant d’état commence à clignoter pendant la phase de mise sous tension et il devient fixe une fois que
l’appareil est connecté au réseau et qu’il est prêt à lire de la musique.
Connexion Wi-Fi
1. Téléchargez l’application Discovery Connect depuis Google Play Store ou Apple App Store.
2. Assurez-vous que Bluetooth est activé sur votre téléphone ou votre tablette et lancez l’application Discovery
Connect.
3. L’application devrait trouver le Discovery Connect comme indiqué dans la figure 1.
4. Sélectionnez le Discovery Connect et vous serez redirigé vers le menu principal. Sélectionnez WiFi Setup
(configuration Wi-Fi) dans le haut.
5. Une liste de tous les réseaux sans fil disponibles s’achera, comme indiqué sur la figure 2. Trouvez le vôtre

Connexion de Discovery Connect
Sortie 1 – Sortie numérique native
Sortie 1 – Sortie numérique native à partir de Discovery Connect. Sans conversion de fréquence
d’échantillonnage pour un contenu de qualité allant jusqu’à 192 kHz – 24 bits. Cette sortie ne prend pas en
charge AirPlay, Bluetooth ou Spotify Connect. Connectez simplement la sortie optique/coaxiale du Discovery
Connect à l’entrée optique de votre amplificateur/récepteur/préamplificateur/CNA intégré.
Sortie 2 – Sortie combinée analogique et numérique
La sortie 2 comprend à la fois des sorties numériques et analogiques du Discovery Connect. La fréquence
d’échantillonnage de tout le contenu est convertie à 96 kHz – 24 bits, sauf si la sortie AirX2 est activée. Dans ce
cas, la fréquence d’échantillonnage du contenu est convertie à 44,1 kHz – 16 bits. Cette sortie prend en charge
le contenu Roon Ready, Discovery Ready, Spotify Connect, AirPlay et Bluetooth.

Activation de Discovery Connect dans Roon/Roon Essentials
Après avoir connecté Discovery Connect à votre réseau domestique, lancez Roon/Roon Essentials sur votre
PC ou votre tablette. Allez dans Settings (paramètres), puis Audio. Une liste de tous les périphériques audio
disponibles sera répertoriée. Localisez Discovery Connect et cliquez sur Enable (activer). Vous pouvez
également changer le nom par défaut pour Connect. Discovery Connect sera maintenant disponible dans la
section de sortie audio de l’application Roon/Roon Essentials.

1. Si le Discovery Connect est déjà connecté à votre réseau domestique, passez à l’étape 2. S’il n’est pas con
necté à votre réseau domestique, passez à la page 7 et suivez les étapes. Revenez ensuite à l’étape 2
sur cette page.
2. Téléchargez et installez l’application Spotify sur votre téléphone, votre tablette ou votre PC et ouvrez une
session. Spotify Connect nécessite un abonnement Premium pour pouvoir utiliser cette fonctionnalité.
3. Lancez l’application Spotify et vous verrez le texte « Device Available » (appareil disponible) au bas de l’ap
plication. Cliquez sur ce lien et vous verrez tous les périphériques Spotify Connect disponibles. Sélectionnez
Discovery Connect et la musique commencera à jouer sur Discovery Connect.
Remarque : Le contrôle du volume sur votre téléphone et dans l’application Spotify sera désormais lié au
contrôle du volume sur le Discovery Connect.

Remarque : Veuillez noter que ce processus n’est utilisé que pour la lecture audio à partir de votre périphérique
Bluetooth. Il n’est pas nécessaire de jumeler votre appareil lorsque vous utilisez l’application.
Vous pouvez commencer le processus de jumelage à l’aide de l’application du téléphone ou du bouton de
jumelage sur le panneau arrière.
Processus de jumelage à l’aide du panneau arrière
1. Appuyez sur le bouton BT Pair (figure 1) et maintenez-le enfoncé pendant 5 secondes ou jusqu’à ce que le
voyant DEL commence à clignoter en rouge.
2. Accédez à la section des paramètres Bluetooth de votre téléphone et recherchez de nouveaux périphériques
(figure 2). Sélectionnez Discovery Connect dans la liste des périphériques disponibles. Si l’on vous demande
un code d’accès, acceptez celui qui est aché sur votre appareil et choisissez l’option de jumelage/connex
ion. Tout l’audio de votre appareil connecté proviendra désormais du Discovery Z3. Veuillez noter que,
lorsque vous utilisez Bluetooth, vous verrez deux commandes de volume (téléphone et Z3).
Processus de jumelage à l’aide de l’application
1. Téléchargez l’application Discovery Connect depuis Google Play Store ou
Apple App Store et installez-la.
2. Lancez l’application et sélectionnez Discovery Connect dans la liste des
appareils (si vous utilisez l’application pour la première fois). Sur la page
de contrôle, activez l’option Bluetooth Discoverable On/O (activer/dés
activer la détection Bluetooth) (figure 3).
3. Accédez à la section des paramètres Bluetooth de votre téléphone et
recherchez de nouveaux périphériques (figure 2). Sélectionnez Discov
ery Connect dans la liste des périphériques disponibles. Si l’on vous
demande un code d’accès, acceptez celui qui est aché sur votre
appareil et choisissez l’option de jumelage/connexion.

• Le jumelage de l’émetteur sans fil avec d’autres produits AirX est très simple. Veuillez suivre les étapes
ci-dessous pour terminer le processus.
1. Appuyez sur le bouton le bouton Wireless Pair ( jumelage sans fil) du caisson de basse ou des haut-parleurs
compatibles AirX et maintenez-le enfoncé jusqu’à ce que le voyant à DEL commence à clignoter rapidement
(environ deux fois par seconde).
2. Appuyez sur le bouton Wireless Pair (jumelage sans fil) à l’arrière du Discovery Connect et maintenez-le en
foncé jusqu’à ce que le voyant à DEL de jumelage sans fil du caisson de basse ou des haut-parleurs Argo
cesse de clignoter et s’éteigne (aucun voyant à DEL allumé signifie que le haut-parleur est jumelé de manière
sans fil).
3. Répétez ces étapes pour ajouter deshaut-parleurs ou des caissons de basses supplémentaires (jusqu’à 3).

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
1. Allgemeines
• Lesen und beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise und bewahren Sie diese sorgfältig auf.

Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor der Inbetriebnahme auf vorhandene Schäden. Das Produkt muss sich in
einem einwandfreien Zustand befinden. Beschädigte Teile können zu Verletzungen führen.
2. Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Schließen Sie das Gerät gemäß den Vorgaben in der Bedienungsanleitung an.
3. Aufstellungsort
• Das Gerät darf nur auf ebenen Untergründen aufgestellt werden.
• Vermeiden Sie als Aufstellort folgende Orte:
• mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
• mit hoher Feuchtigkeit
• die vibrationsanfällig sind
• an denen besonders heiße oder kalte Temperaturen auftreten
Blockieren Sie niemals Lüftungsschlitze. Beachten Sie beim Aufstellen die Anweisungen des Herstellers.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in ein geschlossenes Regal oder einen geschlossenen Schrank.
• Stellen Sie keine brennenden Kerzen auf das Gerät bzw. in dessen unmittelbare Nähe.
• Positionieren Sie das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Transformators, da es sonst durch
elektromagnetische Einstreuung des Transformators zu einem Brummen der Tieftöner kommen kann.
4. Wartungsarbeiten
GEFAHR! Önen Sie niemals das Gehäuse, da im Gerät gefährliche Spannungen vorhanden sein können!
Wartungsarbeiten dürfen ausschließlich von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
Das Gerät muss gewartet werden, wenn es in irgendeiner Weise beschädigt wurde, z.B. wenn das Netzkabel
oder der Netzstecker beschädigt wurde, Flüssigkeiten auf das Gerät verschüttet wurden oder Gegenstände
auf das Gerät gefallen sind, das Gerät Regen oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wurde, es nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktioniert oder fallen gelassen wurde. Önen Sie niemals das Gerät, um eine Gefährdung durch elektrischen
Strom möglichst zu vermeiden. Wartungsarbeiten dürfen ausschließlich von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal

5. Reinigung
HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung nur ein weiches Tuch mit glatter Oberfläche bzw. einen weichen
Pinsel. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Scheuermittel, Alkohol, Waschbenzin, Möbelpolitur oder Ähnliches zur
Reinigung! Möbel sind häufig mit den verschiedensten Lacken und Kunststoen beschichtet, die mit chemischen
Substanzen behandelt sein können. Manche dieser Substanzen können Bestandteile enthalten, die die
Gummifüße angreifen und aufweichen.
6. Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus recyclingfähigen Materialien. Entsorgen Sie diese bitte umweltgerecht. Werfen Sie
das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht in den normalen Hausmüll. Führen Sie das Gerät entsprechend
den geltenden gesetzlichen Vorschriften einer geordneten Entsorgung zu. Erkundigen Sie sich hierzu bei Ihrer
Stadtverwaltung nach geeigneten Möglichkeiten, damit die im Gerät enthaltenen wertvollen Rohmaterialien
wiederverwendet werden können. Machen Sie das Gerät vor der Entsorgung unbrauchbar
7. Netzanschluss
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die auf der Rückwand des Gehäuses angegebenen Spannungen an. Der
Anschluss an andere Spannungen kann zu irreversiblen Schäden am Gerät führen und hat das Erlöschen der
Gewährleistung zur Folge. Die Verwendung von Netzsteckeradaptern wird nicht empfohlen, da diese den
Anschluss an andere als den auf der Rückseite des Gerätes vermerkten Spannungen ermöglichen.
8. Konformitätsinformationen für den Wireless Transmitter
Das Präfix „IC“ vor der Zertifikatnummer zeigt an, dass die technischen Spezifikationen der Kanadischen
Industrie eingehalten werden. Die Geräte erfüllen die von FCC und IC festgelegten Grenzwerte für
Störausstrahlung in einer beliebigen Umgebung. Die Geräte sollten mit einem Mindestabstand von 20
cm zwischen Sender und Körper installiert und in Betrieb genommen werden. Der Sender sollte nicht in
unmittelbarer Nähe zu anderen Sendern oder Antennen in Betrieb genommen werden.
Der Betrieb des Gerätes ist Gegenstand der folgenden 2 Bedingungen:
1) Das Gerät darf keinerlei Störungen verursachen.
2) Das Gerät darf durch Störungen nicht beeinträchtigt werden, auch wenn die Störungen ungewollte Aktionen
des Gerätes hervorrufen.
Um eventuelle Funkinterferenzen mit anderen Anwendern zu vermeiden, sollte die Antenne und ihre
Empfindlichkeit so gewählt werden, dass die äquivalente isotrope Strahlungsleistung nur so hoch ist wie erlaubt
und gleichzeitig eine erfolgreiche Kommunikation aufrechterhalten werden kann.

Verbindung per Kabel
1. Verwenden Sie ein Ethernet-Kabel (nicht im Lieferumfang), um den Discovery Connect an einen freien LAN-
Port Ihres Routers bzw. Switches anzuschließen.
2. Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil an der Stromversorgungsbuchse an und stecken Sie es in eine freie
Steckdose ein.
3. Die Status-LED blinkt während des Startvorganges. Sobald dieser beendet ist, leuchtet sie permanent, um
anzuzeigen, dass eine Netzwerkverbindung besteht und das Gerät bereit ist, Musik abzuspielen.
WLAN-Verbindung
1. Laden Sie die Discovery Connect App aus dem Google Play Store bzw. dem Apple App Store herunter.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Bluetooth bei Ihrem Smartphone / Tablet aktiviert ist und starten Sie die
Discovery Connect App.
3. Die App sollte u.a. den Discovery Connect anzeigen (s. Fig. 1).
4. Wählen Sie den Discovery Connect aus. Sie werden zum Hauptmenü geführt. Wählen Sie „WiFi-Setup“ aus.
5. Es wird eine Liste aller verfügbaren WLAN-Netze angezeigt (s. Fig. 2). Wählen Sie Ihr Netz aus. Sofern Ihr
Netzwerk passwortgeschützt ist, geben Sie das Passwort ein (s. Fig. 3) und klicken Sie auf „submit“. Das Gerät
führt dann einen Reboot durch und verbindet sich dann mit Ihrem Netzwerk.

Ausgang 1 – Nativer digitaler Audioausgang
Ausgang 1 bietet einen nativen digitalen Audioausgang ohne Samplerate-Umsetzung bis 192 kHz / 24 Bit an.
Dieser Ausgang wird allerdings nicht von AirPlay, Bluetooth oder Spotify Connect unterstützt. Verbinden Sie
einfach den optischen bzw. koaxialen Digitalausgang des Discovery Connect mit dem optischen bzw. koaxialen
Audio-Eingang Ihres Vollverstärkers / Receivers / Vorverstärkers / DACs.
Ausgang 2 – Kombinierter analoger und digitaler Ausgang
Ausgang 2 bietet Ihnen sowohl analoge als auch digitale Ausgänge. Jegliche Audioformate werden in das
Format 96 kHz / 24 Bit konvertiert, es sei denn der AirX²-Ausgang ist aktiviert. In diesem Fall wird der Inhalt auf
44.1 kHz / 16 Bit konvertiert. Ausgang 2 unterstützt Roon Ready, Discovery Ready, Spotify Connect, AirPlay und
Bluetooth.

Aktivieren des Discovery Connect in Roon bzw. Roon Essentials
Nachdem Sie den Discovery Connect an Ihr Heimnetzwerk angeschlossen haben, starten Sie Roon /
Roon Essentials auf Ihrem PC / Tablet. Navigieren Sie zu „Settings“ – „Audio“. Eine Liste der verfügbaren
Audioausgabeziele wird angezeigt. Suchen Sie nach Discovery Connect und klicken Sie zur Aktivierung auf
„Enable“. Sie können, bei Bedarf, den angezeigten Namen ändern. Ab jetzt ist der Discovery Connect von Roon /
Roon Essentials in der Audioausgangssektion verfügbar.

Verwendung von Spotify Connect
1. Wenn Sie den Discovery Connect bereits mit Ihrem Heimnetzwerk verbunden haben, fahren Sie
bitte mit Schritt 2. fort. Sollten Sie noch keine Verbindung mit dem Heimnetzwerk aufgebaut ha
ben, folgen Sie bitte der Anleitung auf Seite 7 und schließen Sie die Installation ab. Danach
fahren Sie mit Schritt 2 auf dieser Seite fort.
2. Laden und installieren Sie die Spotify App auf Ihrem Smartphone / Tablet / PC. Spotify Connect
benötigt eine Premium-Mitgliedschaft, um dieses Feature nutzen zu können.
3. Starten Sie die Spotify App. Am unteren Bildschirmrand erscheint ein Hinweis, dass ein Aus
gabegerät verfügbar ist. Sobald Sie auf den Hinweis klicken, erscheint eine Liste aller verfügbar
en Spotify Connect Endpunkte. Wählen Sie hier Discovery Connect. Von nun an erfolgt
die Musikwie dergabe über den Discovery Connect.
Hinweis: Die Lautstärkeeinstellung, die Sie über Spotify oder Ihr Smartphone vornehmen, ist
nun mit der Lautstärkeeinstellung des Discovery Connect verbunden.

Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass ein Pairing nur nötig ist, wenn Sie Musik von Ihrem Smartphone über den
Discovery Connect wiedergeben möchten. Wenn Sie lediglich die App zur Steuerung verwenden möchten, ist
ein Pairing nicht erforderlich.
Sie können den Pairing-Vorgang mit Hilfe der App starten, oder Sie verwenden die Pairing-Taste auf der
Rückseite des Discovery Connect.
Bluetooth-Pairing mit Hilfe der Pairing-Taste auf der Rückseite
1. Drücken und halten Sie die BT Pair-Taste auf der Rückseite des Discovery Connect (s. Fig. 1) für 5 Sekunden
fest bzw. bis die LED rot blinkt.
2. Navigieren Sie zu den Bluetooth-Einstellungen Ihres Smartphones und suchen Sie nach neuen Blue
tooth-Geräten (s. Fig. 2). Wählen Sie den Discovery Connect aus der Liste der verfügbaren Geräte aus. Sofern
eine Bluetooth-Pin benötigt werden sollte, akzeptieren Sie die vom Smartphone vorgeschlagene und
wählen Sie „pair / connect“. Die Audioausgabe Ihres Smartphones erfolgt nun über den Discovery Connect.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass nun 2 Lautstärkeeinstellungen aktiv sind: Smartphone und Discovery Connect.

Bluetooth Pairing per App
1. Laden Sie die Discovery Connect App aus dem Google Play Store bzw.
Aus dem Apple App Store herunter und installieren Sie diese.
2. Starten Sie die App und wählen Sie den Discovery Connect aus der Liste
der verfügbaren Geräte aus (sofern dies das erste Mal ist, dass Sie die
App starten). Aktivieren Sie den Schalter „Bluetooth Discoverable“
auf der „Control“-Seite.
3. Navigieren Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone zur Seite der Bluetooth-Settings
und lassen Sie nach neuen Geräten suchen (s. Fig. 2). Wählen Sie
den Discovery Connect aus der Liste der verfügbaren Geräte aus. Sofern
eine Bluetooth-Pin benötigt werden sollte, akzeptieren Sie die vom
Smartphone vorgeschlagene und wählen Sie „pair /
connect“.

• Den Wireless Transmitter mit anderen AirX²-Komponenten zu pairen ist sehr einfach. Folgen Sie den nachfolgenden Schritten, um den Prozess erfolgreich abzuschließen.
1. Drücken und halten Sie die Wireless Pairing-Taste am AirX²-kompatiblen Subwoofer bzw. Lautsprecher, bis
die LED schnell blinkt (ca. 2x pro Sekunde).
2. Drücken und halten Sie die Wireless Pairing-Taste auf der Rückseite des Discovery Connect, bis die LED am
Subwoofer bzw. Lautsprecher nicht mehr blinkt (LED erlischt, wenn der Lautsprecher erfolgreich gepaired ist).
3. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang für weitere Lautsprecher / Subwoofer (bis zu 3 Endgeräte).

Gewährleistung / Werksgarantie
I. Die folgenden Garantiebestimmungen gelten für innerhalb der Europäischen Union und der Schweiz von
einem autorisierten Fachhändler erworbene Produkte von ELAC, die unter X. dieser Bestimmungen
aufgeführt werden.
II. Die folgenden Bestimmungen erweitern die Rechte des Erwerbers und beeinflussen in keiner Weise die nach
der jeweiligen Rechtsordnung zusätzlich bestehenden Rechte wie beispielsweise die Gewährleistungsrechte.
III. Aus den Garantiebestimmungen entstehen Ansprüche nur für diejenigen Käufer, die das betreende Produkt
von einem autorisierten Fachhändler erworben haben. ELAC betreibt ein selektives Vertriebssystem. Wird das
Produkt von einem nicht autorisierten Händler erworben, entstehen keine Garantieansprüche. Etwaige
Gewährleistungsansprüche gegen den Verkäufer bleiben davon unberührt.
IV. Voraussetzung für die Geltendmachung von Garantieansprüchen ist, dass sich der Käufer innerhalb von drei
Monaten ab Kaufdatum des jeweiligen ELAC-Produktes registrieren lässt.
Zur Registrierung ist die Einsendung einer Kopie des Kaueleges innerhalb der oben genannten Drei-MonatsFrist erforderlich. Dies kann auf elektronischem und postalischem Weg erfolgen. Die E-Mail-Adresse von

Die Registrierung kann auch insgesamt per Post erfolgen. Dazu muss der Erwerber eine Kopie des Kaueleges

V. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nur auf Material-, Konstruktions- oder Verarbeitungsmängel.
VI. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Schäden, die auf grobe Behandlung oder unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
zurückzuführen sind oder auf natürliche oder übliche Abnutzungen. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
optisch uneinheitliche Furnierstruktur oder Verfärbungen des Furniers, da es sich hierbei um natürliches Material
handelt. Die Garantie erstreckt sich auch nicht auf sonstige Ereignisse, die nicht im zumutbaren Bereich von
ELAC liegen.
Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Mängel, die in Verbindung mit anderen Produkten auftreten, die nicht von ELAC
hergestellt wurden oder in sonstiger Weise durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch auftreten. Auf
die sachgerechte Bedienung gemäß der den Produkten beiliegenden Bedienungsanleitung wird ausdrücklich hingewiesen.
Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Mängel, die durch unsachgemäßes Aufstellen oder unsachgemäße Lagerung
entstehen. Unsachgemäß ist beispielsweise das Aufstellen oder die Lagerung in feuchter Umgebung oder in einer
Umgebung, in welcher das Produkt extremen Temperaturen und/oder Temperaturschwankungen, Oxidation oder
Korrosion ausgesetzt ist. Mängel, die durch Verschütten von Flüssigkeiten oder Nahrungsmitteln oder sonstige chemische
Substanzen an die Produkte gelangen und auf sie einwirken, sind von der Garantie ebenfalls nicht umfasst.
VII. Die Garantie erlischt, wenn das Produkt nicht durch ELAC oder einen autorisierten Fachhändler geönet, verändert
oder repariert wird. Die Garantie erlischt, wenn die Seriennummer entfernt oder unleserlich
gemacht wird.
VIII. Material-, Konstruktions- oder Verarbeitungsmängel werden innerhalb der Garantiefrist von ELAC oder von einem
autorisierten Fachhändler des Landes, in welchem das Produkt erworben wurde, kostenlos behoben. Dies geschieht
innerhalb einer wirtschaftlich angemessenen Frist. Nach Ermessen von ELAC oder des autorisierten Fachhändlers kann die

Garantieleistung auch in einem Austausch des betroenen Produktes
erfolgen. Soweit baugleiche Produkte nicht mehr verfügbar sind, kann ein Austausch in Form eines anderen Produktes
erfolgen, welches der gleichen Preis- und Qualitäts-Klasse entspricht.
Das Eigentum der ausgetauschten Ersatzteile oder der ausgetauschten Produkte geht auf ELAC über.
IX. Eine Bemängelung muss innerhalb der Garantiezeit gegenüber ELAC oder einem autorisierten Fachhändler
innerhalb angemessener Frist nach Entdeckung des Mangels bekanntgegeben werden. Im Garantiefall muss
ELAC oder dem autorisierten Fachhändler das bemängelte Produkt und eine Kopie des Original-Kaueleges
übergeben werden. Aus diesen Belegen müssen sich folgende Informationen ergeben:
a) Name und Adresse des Fachhändlers
b) Datum und Ort des Kaufes
c) Artikelbezeichnung, Produkttyp und Seriennummer Zur Bearbeitung des Garantiefalles und Rücksendung
etwaig reparierter oder ausgetauschter Produkte ist ebenfalls die Angabe des Namens und der Adresse des
Käufers erforderlich.

Für den Fall einer Bearbeitung eines nicht unter diese Bedingungen fallenden Produktes, kann ELAC dem
Anspruchsteller eine angemessene Bearbeitungsgebühr in Rechnung stellen.
X. Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit Auslieferung des Produktes an den erstmaligen Endkunden.
Die Garantiefrist beträgt für alle Produkte der ELAC Electroacustic GmbH: 2 Jahre gesetzliche Gewährleistung.
Sie verlängert sich um drei weitere Jahre Werksgarantie (ein weiteres Jahr bei Aktivboxen, Aktivsubwoofern,
SurroundSets und Aktivelektronik), wenn sich der Käufer bei ELAC registrieren läßt.
XI. Diese Herstellergarantie ist die einzige Garantie, welche ELAC für ihre Produkte gewährt. Sie geht allen
sonstigen, mündlichen oder schriftlichen Garantiebedingungen vor. Eine Garantieleistung bewirkt keine
Verlängerung der Garantiefrist und setzt auch keine neue Garantiefrist in Gang.
Die Haftung ist auf den Wert des Produktes beschränkt. ELAC haftet nicht für weitere eintretende Schäden
oder Verluste direkter oder indirekter Art. Dies gilt nicht für Schäden, welche aufgrund Vorsatzes oder grober
Fahrlässigkeit durch ELAC herbeigeführt wurden.
