Dieses Gerät verfügt über und arbeitet mit hochintensivem ultraviolettem Licht. Das UV-
Licht ist sehr stark und kann Verfärbungen von Stoffen und/oder Böden verursachen, wenn
es länger als 5 Sekunden unbeweglich auf eine Stelle gerichtet wird.
Dieses Gerät darf ausschließlich für den HAUSGEBRAUCH eingesetzt werden und ist nicht
für gewerbliche Zwecke bestimmt.
WARNUNG! NIEMALS in das UV-C-Licht oder die UV-C-Lampe blicken, wenn das Gerät in
Betrieb ist. Stark reflektierte germizide UVStrahlen sind schädlich für Augen und Haut von
Menschen und Tieren.
WARNUNG! NIEMALS die UV-C-Lampe berühren, insbesondere nicht nach dem Gebrauch,
da die Lampe möglicherweise immer noch heiß ist und eine Berührung Verbrennungen
verursachen kann.
NIEMALS eine Hand unter das Gerät legen, wenn es in Betrieb ist. Schauen Sie während
des Betriebes keinesfalls direkt in die UV-Lampe.

Falls Sie das Produkt einmal an eine andere Person weitergeben möchten, legen Sie bitte
diese Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten
Spannung übereinstimmt bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

Benutzen Sie Ihr Gerät nicht um Streichhölzer, spitze Gegenstände, Zigaretten,
Zigarettenstummel oder andere brennende Gegenstände aufzusaugen. Benutzen Sie Ihr
Gerät auch nicht auf nassen, mit Zement, feinen oder giftigen Stoffen bedeckten
Oberflächen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Saugöffnung nicht verstopft ist. Sollte dies nun
doch geschehen, dann schalten Sie erst Ihr Gerät aus, bevor Sie die Saugöffnung frei
machen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Saugöffnung nicht auf Personen oder Tiere richten, und vor
allem nicht in Richtung der Augen oder Ohren.
Benutzen Sie einen defekten Luftfilter, so kann dies zur Beschädigungen des Gerätes

BEDIENUNGSHINWEISE ZU IHREM ULTRA-VIOLETT STAUB- & MILBENSAUGER
Was ist der Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger?
Der Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger wurde zur unterstützenden Reinigung und Desinfektion
von Matratzen, Bettzeug und weichen Polstern entwickelt, indem Saugkraft, HEPA-Filter und UVTechnologie kombiniert wurden.
Was ist UV-C?
UV steht für Ultraviolettstrahlung. C steht für die spezielle Frequenz des keimtötenden UV-Lichts.
UV-C ist ein kurzwelliges, für das Auge unsichtbares Ultraviolettlicht im Wellenlängenbereich
von 200/280 Nanometer. Es wird seit über 100 Jahren in Krankenhäusern zur Desinfektion
verwendet. UV-C (UVC) wird auch als UVGI (ultraviolett germicide irradiation = ultraviolette
germizide Bestrahlung) bezeichnet.
Wie funktioniert es?
Das UV-C-Licht dringt durch die äußere Zellstruktur und verändert die DNS-Moleküle,
wodurch die Replikation behindert wird und diese absterben. Dieser Prozess ist nachweislich
äußerst effektiv gegen Hausstaubmilben und Bettwanzen wie auch gegen Pilze und
Bakterien wie E-coli und Staphylokokkus.
Was ist ein HEPA-Filter?
HEPA ist die Abkürzung für “high efficiency particulate air” (Schwebstofffilter). HEPA ist eine
Filterart, die große Mengen sehr kleiner Partikel auffangen kann, die andere Staubsauger
einfach wieder in die Luft zurückleiten würden.
HEPA-Filter bestehen aus einer Fasermatte und sind eine entscheidende Hilfe bei der
Vorbeugung gegen das Ausbreiten von Allergien, Bakterien in der Luft und Viren.
Häufigkeit der Verwendung
Das Alter Ihrer Matratzen, Kissen und weichen Polster bestimmt, wie oft Sie Ihren UV Ultra
Vac verwenden sollten.
Bei neueren Matratzen, Kissen und weichen Polstern empfiehlt sich eine Reinigung einmal
pro Woche.
Ältere Matratzen, Kissen und weiche Polster sollten Sie mindestens 2 bis 3 Mal pro Woche
reinigen.

Zum Lösen des Netzkabels zunächst die
untere
Kabelhalterung durch Ziehen und Anheben
in eine aufrechte Position bringen. Nun das
Netzkabel abnehmen und abwickeln. Nach
Gebrauch des Gerätes die Kabelhalterung
wieder in die ursprüngliche Position bringen,
einrasten lassen und das Netzkabel um
beide Halterungen aufwickeln.
Vor dem Entriegeln des Griffes das Gerät
zunächst auf eine ebene Fläche stellen.
Drücken Sie den Entriegelungsknopf, der
sich mittig auf der Rückseite des Gerätes
befindet. Sie können den Knopf entweder
mit dem Finger oder der Kabelhalterung
drücken. Danach den Griff herausziehen,
bis er voll ausgezogen ist und einrastet.
Zum Einschieben des Griffes den
Arretierungsknopf auf der linken Seite des
Griffes drücken. Schieben Sie den Griff so,
dass die Teleskopstange in das Gerät
zurückgleitet, dann Arretierung wieder
einrasten lassen. Bitte vergewissern Sie sich,
dass der Griff eingerastet ist, bevor Sie das
Gerät hochnehmen und tragen.
HINWEIS
Der Griff am Gerät mag sehr flexibel
erscheinen, aber er wurde speziell
entwickelt, um das Gewicht des Gerätes zu
tragen.

Inbetriebnahme
Vor Gebrauch des Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensaugers muss das Bettzeug nicht entfernt
werden. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch, zur Reinigung der Matratze das Bettzeug vorher zu
entfernen, da dies die Entfernung von Hausstaubmilben, Bettwanzen und deren Kot
erleichtert.
Das Gitter des Staubsaugers wurde entwickelt, damit Laken, Bettwäsche und andere
Materialien die Staubsaugeröffnungen des Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensaugers auf der
Unterseite des Gerätes nicht blockieren oder verstopfen. Dies ermöglicht Ihnen leichtes
Reinigen ohne die Laken abzunehmen, falls nötig.
Stellen Sie den Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger auf die zu reinigende Oberfläche.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle 3 Mikro-Sicherheitsräder die Oberfläche berühren.
Schalten Sie den Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger mit dem Ein-/Aus-Schalter ein. Dieser
befindet sich auf der oberen linken Seite des Gerätes.
Auf jeder Seite des Gerätes befindet sich vorne eine UV-Licht-Anzeige. Diese leuchtet
blau, wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist und alle 3 Mikro-Sicherheitsräder korrekt nach unten
gedrückt werden.
Die 3 Mikro-Sicherheitsräder dienen dem sicheren Betrieb des Ultra-Violett Staub- &
Milbensaugers und sollen sicherstellen, dass die UV-Lampe nicht versehentlich vom
Benutzer des Gerätes aktiviert wird. WARNUNG! Niemals das UV-Licht berühren oder direkt
in das UV-Licht sehen, wenn die UV-Lampe in Betrieb ist!
Reinigen der Matratze
Halten Sie den Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger flach auf der Matratzenoberfläche und
bewegen Sie ihn gleichmäßig über die Matratze.
Lassen Sie den Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger nicht länger als 5 SEKUNDEN auf einem
Bereich, da sich die Matratze sonst aufgrund der hohen UV-Bestrahlung verfärben kann.
Bewegen Sie den Ultra-Violett Staub- & Milbensauger langsam über die Oberfläche. So stellen
Sie sicher, dass mehr Staubmilben, Bettwanzen und ihr Kot sowie Bakterien den UV-C-Strahlen
ausgesetzt sind und vom Staubsauger aufgesaugt werden.
Die Teleskopstange erleichtert Ihnen die Reinigung einer Kingsize-Matratze.
Reinigen anderer Gegenstände
Gehen Sie bei Bettdecken, Oberbetten und Laken gleichermaßen vor. Bei kleineren
Gegenständen empfiehlt sich, den Staubsauger in einer Vorwärts-Rückwärts-Bewegung über
die zu reinigende Fläche zu führen. Der Staubsauger kann für die Reinigung einer Vielzahl
von Gegenständen zu Hause eingesetzt werden, z.B. auch für Teppiche, Läufer, Fußmatten,
Hundekörbe und Decken.
ENTLEEREN DES STAUBBEHÄLTERS
Staubbehälter und Filter
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker bevor Sie den Staubbehälter oder
Filter entfernen.

Zum Herausnehmen den Entriegelungsknopf auf
der Oberseite des Staubbehälters drücken und
den Behälter entnehmen.
Zum Herausnehmen des Filters muss der
Staubbehälter nach unten gerichtet sein
(dadurch fällt der Inhalt nicht heraus). Den Filter
mit 2 Fingern fassen und herausziehen.
Es empfiehlt sich, den Staubbehälter in eine
Mülltonne außerhalb des Hauses oder einen
geschlossenen Abfallbehälter zu entleeren.
Danach den Filter mit einer Bürste reinigen, um
etwaige Rückstände zu entfernen.
(Der Filter kann in Wasser von Hand gewaschen
werden. Lassen Sie ihn danach an der Luft
trocknen und setzen Sie ihn erst wieder in den
Staubbehälter ein, wenn er völlig getrocknet ist.)
NICHT IN DER WASCHMASCHINE ODER
SPÜLMASCHINE REINIGEN!
Den sauberen, völlig trockenen Filter wieder in
den Staubbehälter einsetzen, dann den
Staubbehälter wieder in das Gerät einsetzen,
sodass er einrastet.
WARTUNG UND PFLEGE
HEPA-Filter
Es empfiehlt sich, den HEPA-Filter regelmäßig zu reinigen. Der Filter kann in Wasser von
Hand gewaschen werden.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet und der Netzstecker gezogen ist, bevor
Sie den HEPA-Filter entfernen. Entnehmen Sie den Staubbehälter und ziehen Sie den Filter
heraus. Auf einer Seite des Filters befindet sich ein Clip. Drücken Sie diesen Clip und ziehen
Sie daran. Der Filter löst sich nun aus dem Gehäuse. Nach dem Waschen den Filter an der
Luft trocknen lassen. Setzen Sie den Filter erst dann wieder in das Gerät ein, wenn er völlig
getrocknet ist.

Seitlicher Filter
Das Gerät ist außerdem mit einem seitlichen Filter
ausgestattet. Es empfiehlt sich, diesen Filter alle 12
bis 18 Monate zu reinigen. Dies trägt dazu bei, eine
optimale Leistung des Gerätes aufrechtzuerhalten.
UV-Lampe
Die UV-Lampe ist sehr zerbrechlich und darf niemals mit Haut in Berührung kommen.
Verletzungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie die Lampe nur bei Bedarf. Die Lampe muss bei der Reinigung völlig kühl
sein und darf nicht aktiviert sein. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung der UV-Lampe
AUSSCHLIESSLICH ein weiches, sauberes, trockenes Tuch und wischen Sie vorsichtig über die
Lampe.
WARNUNG! Schauen Sie NIEMALS in das UV-Licht oder
die UV-Lampe und berühren Sie diese KEINESFALLS,
wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.
WICHTIG!
Versuchen Sie KEINESFALLS, die Lampe selbst zu reparieren
oder zu ersetzen, falls diese nicht funktioniert. Wenden Sie sich
in diesem Fall an den Kundendienst.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2012/19/EU
Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus
wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen der
Richtlinie sichergestellt.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR ULTRAVIOLET VACUUM CLEANER FOR MITES & BACTERIA
What is the UV vacuum cleaner for mites & bacteria?
The UV vacuum cleaner for mites & bacteria has been developed to clean and disinfect
mattresses, bed linens and soft upholstery, by combining suction power, HEPA filter and UV
technology.
What is UV-C?
UV stands for ultraviolet radiation. C stands for the special frequency of the germ-killing UV
light.
UV-C is a short-wavelength, for the eye invisible ultraviolet light in the wavelength range of
200/280 nanometre. It has been used for more than a 100 years in hospitals for sterilisation. UVC (UVC) is also known as UVGI (ultraviolet germicidal irradiation).
How does it work?
UV-C penetrates the outer cell structure and alters the DNA molecule, preventing replication
and causing them to die. This process has been proven to be extremely effective against
house dust mites and bed bugs, as well as fungus and bacteria such as E-coli and
Staphylococcus.
What is a HEPA filter?
HEPA is an acronym for “high efficiency particulate air”. HEPA is a type of filter that can trap
a large amount of very small particles that other vacuum cleaners would simply re-circulate
back into the air of your home.
HEPA filters are composed of a mat of randomly arranged fibres and are critical in the
prevention of the spread of allergies, airborne bacterial and viral organisms.
Frequency of use
The age of your mattress, pillows and soft furnishings determines how often you will need to
use your Ultra Vac.
For newer mattresses, pillows and soft furnishings, it is recommended that you clean at least
once a week.
For older mattresses, pillows and soft furnishings, it is recommended that you clean at least 2
to 3 times per week.
To release the power cable first pull and
lift the bottom power cable hook into the
upright position. Now slide the power cable
from its housing and unwind. When you are
finished using the appliance, lower the power
cable hook into its original position, click
back into place and then proceed to windup the power cable around both parts.

appliance is on a level surface. Press the
release button, this is located at the rear in the
centre. You can either use your finger or the
power cable hook to release it. Now slide the

The UV vacuum cleaner can be used with the bedding in place but it is recommended
that you remove any bedding when cleaning your mattress, this will aid in the removal of
any house dust mites, bed bugs and their waste.
The integrated vacuum grill has been designed to prevent bed sheets and other materials
from blocking the vacuum aperture on the base of the UV vacuum cleaner; this will allow
easy cleaning with your bed sheets in place if required.
Place the UV vacuum cleaner onto your chosen surface, ensuring all 3 micro safety
wheels are in contact with the surface.
Turn on the UV vacuum cleaner using the On/Off switch - this is located on the top left side
of the appliance.
There are 2 UV indicator lights located on each side of the head of the appliance; these
will glow blue when the unit is on and all 3 micro safety wheels are pressed down
correctly.

The 3 micro wheels are a safety feature of the UV vacuum cleaner and are used to ensure
the UV bulb is not activated by the user by accident. CAUTION! Never touch or look
directly at the UV light when it is activated.
Cleaning your mattress
Keep the UV vacuum cleaner flat on the surface of the mattress and begin to move it smoothly
and steadily across your mattress.
Avoid leaving the UV vacuum cleaner in one area for more than 5 SECONDS as this may lead
to discolouration of your mattress due to the high intensity of the UV bulb.
Moving the UV vacuum cleaner slowly will ensure more dust mites, bed bugs, their waste and
bacteria are exposed to the UV-C rays and collected by the vacuum cleaner.
If using on a king-size mattress the telescopic handle will make it easier for you to reach the
full length of the mattress.
Cleaning other items
Use the same method for bed sheets and duvets. For smaller items, a back and forth motion
is recommended. The vacuum cleaner can be used on a variety of items around the home
such as carpets, rugs, matts, dog baskets and blankets.
EMPTYING THE DUST COLLECTOR
Dust box and filter
Before you remove the dust box or filter, please
ensure you switch off the appliance and unplug
the power cable.
To release, press the button located on the top of
the dust box then lift the dust box out.
To remove the filter, ensure the dust box is facing
downwards (this will stop the contents falling out).
Grip the filter with 2 fingers and pull.
It is recommended that you empty the contents
into an outside bin or sealed bin then brush the
filter to clear any debris.
(The filter can be hand washed in water. Leave to
dry completely before replacing back into the
dust box.)
DO NOT MACHINE WASH!
To reassemble, place the clean, dry filter back
into the dust box, then push the dust box back
into the unit until it clicks.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
HEPA filter
It is recommended that you clean the HEPA filter regularly. The filter can be washed in water.
To remove the HEPA filter, first ensure the appliance has been switched off and is unplugged
from the mains supply. Remove the dust box and pull out the filter. You will see a clip on one
side of the filter: press the clip and pull. The filter will now come away from the housing. After
washing, ensure the filter is completely dry before replacing.
Side filter
The appliance also has a side filter. It is
recommended that you clean the filter every 12 –
18 months; this will help to maintain optimum
performance.
UV bulb
The UV bulb is very fragile and should never be allowed to come into contact with skin. Risk of
injury!
It is recommended that you clean the bulb only when necessary. The bulb has to be
completely cool and not activated when cleaning.
ONLY use a soft, clean, dry cloth to wipe the bulb carefully.

Qu’est-ce que l'aspirateur avec lampe UV pour les acariens et les bactéries?
L’aspirateur avec lampe UV a été développé pour aider à nettoyer et à désinfecter les
matelas, literies et coussins en combinant la force d'aspiration, le filtre HEPA et la technologie
UV.
Que signifie UV-C?
UV signifie rayonnement ultraviolet. C correspond à la fréquence spéciale de la lumière UV
antiseptique. UV-C est une lumière par ultraviolet, de courte durée, invisible pour l'œil, agissant
dans une plage de longueur d'onde comprise entre 200 et 280 nanomètres. Elle est utilisée
depuis plus de 100 ans dans les hôpitaux à des fins de désinfection. UV-C (UVC) est aussi
désigné comme UVGI (irradiation/rayonnement germicide par ultraviolet).
Comment cela fonctionne-t-il?
La lumière UV C pénètre par la structure cellulaire extérieure et modifie les molécules d’ADN,
empêchant ainsi la prolifération, et favorisant donc l’élimination. Ce processus s’est avéré très
efficace contre les acariens, les punaises de lit, ainsi que contre les champignons et les
bactéries comme les E-colis et les staphylocoques.
Qu’est-ce qu’un filtre HEPA?
HEPA est l’abréviation de « high efficiency particulate air » (filtre à particules en suspension). Il
s’agit d’un filtre qui peut stopper de grandes quantités de particules très fines que les autres
aspirateurs rejettent de nouveau dans l'air.
Les filtres HEPA se composent d'une natte de fibre et sont déterminants pour éviter la
prolifération des allergies, des bactéries dans l'air et des virus.
Fréquence d’utilisation
La fréquence d’utilisation de votre aspirateur avec lampe UV dépend de l'âge de vos
matelas, coussins et capitonnages souples.
Pour les matelas, coussins et capitonnages souples, un nettoyage hebdomadaire est
recommandé.
Pour les matelas, coussins et capitonnages souples plus anciens, il est conseillé de faire un
nettoyage au moins 2 ou 3 fois par semaine.

Pour retirer le câble d’alimentation, placez tout
d’abord le support de câble inférieur en position
érigée en le tirant et en le soulevant.
Retirez maintenant le câble d’alimentation et
déroulez-le. Après utilisation de l'appareil, remettez
le support de câble dans sa position initiale
jusqu’à ce qu’il s'enclenche, puis enroulez le câble
d’alimentation autour des deux supports.
Avant de déverrouiller la poignée, positionnez
d’abord l'appareil sur une surface plane. Pressez le
bouton de déverrouillage situé au centre, à
l’arrière de l'appareil. Vous pouvez presser le
bouton avec le doigt ou le support de câble.
Retirez ensuite la poignée jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit
complètement sortie et s'enclenche.
Pour insérer la poignée, pressez le bouton de
verrouillage situé sur le côté gauche de la
poignée. Poussez la poignée afin que la tige
télescopique revienne coulisser dans l'appareil,
puis réenclenchez le verrouillage. Assurez-vous que
la poignée est convenablement enclenchée
avant de soulever et transporter l'appareil.
REMARQUE
La poignée de l'appareil semble très flexible, mais
elle a été spécialement développée pour
supporter le poids de l'appareil.

Mise en service
Il n’est pas nécessaire de retirer la literie pour utiliser l'aspirateur avec lampe UV. Il est
toutefois recommandé de le faire pour nettoyer le matelas, car cela facilite l’élimination
des acariens, des punaises de lit et de leurs excréments.
La grille de l'aspirateur a été conçue afin que les draps, housses de lit et autres matériaux
ne bloquent pas, ni n’obturent les ouvertures d'aspiration situées au-dessous de l'aspirateur
avec lampe UV. Cela vous facilite au besoin le nettoyage sans retirer les draps.
Placez l'aspirateur avec lampe UV sur la surface à nettoyer en vous assurant que toutes les
3 roues de sécurité micro-motion sont en contact avec la surface.
Allumez l'aspirateur avec lampe UV avec l'interrupteur marche/arrêt qui se trouve sur le
côté supérieur gauche de l'appareil.
Une lampe témoin de fonctionnement de la lampe UV se trouve de chaque côté de
l'appareil. Elle est bleue quand l'appareil est en service et si les 3 roues de sécurité micromotion appuient correctement vers le bas.
Les 3 roues de sécurité micro-motion assurent le bon fonctionnement de l'aspirateur avec
lampe UV et servent à assurer que la lampe UV n'est pas activée par erreur par l'utilisateur
de l'appareil. AVERTISSEMENT ! Ne jamais toucher la lumière UV ou la regarder
directement lorsqu’elle est en service!
Nettoyage du matelas
Maintenez l'aspirateur avec lampe UV à plat sur la surface du matelas et déplacez-le par
mouvements réguliers sur le matelas.
Ne laissez pas l'aspirateur avec lampe UV pendant plus de 5 SECONDES au même endroit,
sinon le fort rayonnement UV pourrait décolorer le matelas.
Déplacez lentement l'aspirateur avec lampe UV sur la surface. Vous garantirez ainsi que les
acariens, punaises de lit et leurs excréments, ainsi que les bactéries sont exposées aux rayons
UV-C et aspirés par l'aspirateur.
La tige télescopique est utile pour faciliter le nettoyage des matelas de grande taille.
Nettoyage d'autres objets
Faites de même pour les couvertures de lit, les dessus de lit et les draps. Pour les objets plus
petits, il est recommandé de diriger l'aspirateur d’avant en arrière sur la surface à nettoyer.
L'aspirateur peut être utilisé pour nettoyer de nombreux objets de la maison, comme les tapis,
les tapis d'escalier, les paillassons, les paniers à chien et les couvertures.

Pour retirer le conteneur à poussières, pressez le
bouton de déverrouillage situé sur sa surface et
dégagez-le.
Pour retirer le filtre, dirigez le conteneur à
poussières vers le bas (afin que le contenu ne se
répande pas). Saisissez le filtre avec 2 doigts et
dégagez-le.
Il est recommandé de vider le conteneur à
poussières dans une poubelle en dehors de la
maison ou dans un sac poubelle fermé. Nettoyez
ensuite le filtre avec une brosse pour retirer les
résidus éventuels.
(Le filtre peut être lavé manuellement à l'eau.
Séchez-le ensuite à l'air, puis remettez-le dans le
conteneur à poussières lorsqu’il est entièrement
séché.)
NE PAS NETTOYER DANS LE LAVE-LINGE OU
LE LAVE-VAISSELLE!
Réinsérez le filtre propre et entièrement sec dans
le conteneur à poussières, puis remettez ce
dernier dans l'appareil jusqu’à son
enclenchement.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Filtre HEPA
Il est recommandé de nettoyer régulièrement le filtre HEPA. Le filtre peut être lavé
manuellement à l'eau.
Assurez-vous que l'appareil est éteint et la prise débranchée avant de retirer le filtre HEPA.
Enlever le conteneur à poussières et le filtre. Pressez le clip situé sur le côté du filtre, puis tirez
dessus. Le filtre peut alors être dégagé du boîtier. Après le lavage du filtre, séchez-le à l'air et
ne le remettez dans l'appareil que lorsqu’il est entièrement sec.

Filtre latéral
L'appareil est en outre équipé d'un filtre latéral qu’il
est recommandé de nettoyer tous les 12 à 18 mois
afin de garantir les performances optimales de
l'appareil.
Lampe UV
La lampe UV est très fragile et ne doit jamais entrer en contact avec la peau. Danger de
blessure!
Nettoyez la lampe seulement en cas de besoin. La lampe doit être complètement froide
avant d’être nettoyée et ne doit pas être activée. Pour nettoyer la lampe UV, utilisez
EXCLUSIVEMENT un chiffon doux, propre, sec en le passant prudemment sur la lampe.
AVERTISSEMENT! NE JAMAIS regarder la lumière UV ou
la lampe UV et ne la touchez EN AUCUN CAS si
l'appareil est allumé.
IMPORTANT!
N'essayez EN AUCUN CAS de réparer ou de remplacer vousmême la lampe si elle ne fonctionne pas. Adressez-vous dans
ce cas au service après-vente.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig vooraleer u uw toestel gebruikt.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van

WAARSCHUWING! NOOIT in het uv C-licht of in de uv C-lamp kijken als het apparaat in
gebruik is. Sterk gereflecteerde, kiemdodende uv-stralen zijn schadelijk voor de ogen en
de huid van mensen en dieren.
WAARSCHUWING! NOOIT de uv C-lamp aanraken, vooral niet na het gebruik, omdat de

Controleer regelmatig of het toestel niet beschadigd is en gebruik het niet indien het
snoer of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden vertonen maar laat het in dit geval

GEBRUIKSVOORSCHRIFTEN VOOR UW ULTRAVIOLETTE STOFZUIGER TEGEN MIJTEN & BACTERIËN
Wat is de uv-stofzuiger tegen mijten & bacteriën?
De uv-stofzuiger tegen mijten & bacteriën is ontwikkeld voor de aanvullende reiniging en
desinfectie van matrassen, beddengoed en zachte bekledingen, waarbij zuigkracht, een
HEPA-filter en uv-technologie worden gecombineerd.
Wat is uv C?
Uv staat voor ultraviolette straling. C staat voor een speciale frequentie van het kiemdodende
uv-licht. Uv C is voor het menselijk oog onzichtbaar ultraviolet licht met een korte golflengte in
het bereik van 200/280 nanometer. Het wordt al meer dan 100 jaar in ziekenhuizen gebruikt
voor de desinfectie. Uv C (uvc) wordt ook wel aangeduid als UVGI (UltraViolet Germicide
Irradiation = ultraviolette kiemdodende bestraling).
Hoe werkt het?
Het uv C-licht dringt door de buitenste celstructuur en verandert de DNA-moleculen, waardoor
de replicatie wordt verstoord en het organisme afsterft. Dit is een uiterst effectief proces
gebleken voor de bestrijding van huisstofmijten, wandluizen, schimmels en bacteriën als E. coli
en Staphylococcus.
Wat is een HEPA-filter?
HEPA is de afkorting van 'High Efficiency Particulate Air' (filter voor zwevende stoffen). HEPA is
een type filter, dat grote hoeveelheden zeer kleine stofdeeltjes kan opvangen, die andere
stofzuigers weer in de lucht zouden blazen.
Een HEPA-filter bestaat uit een vezelmat en is zeer belangrijk als we willen voorkomen dat
allergieën, bacteriën in de lucht en virussen zich kunnen verspreiden.
Gebruiksfrequentie
De ouderdom van uw matrassen, kussens en zachte bekledingen bepaalt hoe vaak u de uvstofzuiger moet gebruiken.
Nieuwere matrassen, kussens en zachte bekledingen kunt u eenmaal per week reinigen.
Oudere matrassen, kussens en zachte bekledingen moeten ten minste 2 tot 3 maal per week
worden gereinigd.
Voor het losmaken van het netsnoer de onderste
houder door trekken en optillen in een verticale
positie brengen. Nu kunt u het netsnoer eraf
halen en afwikkelen. Na gebruik van het
apparaat de houder weer in de oorspronkelijke
positie brengen, vastklikken, en het netsnoer
rond beide houders wikkelen.

Voor het ontgrendelen van de greep het
apparaat eerst op een vlakke ondergrond
plaatsen. Druk op de ontgrendelingsknop die
zich in het midden op de achterkant van het
apparaat bevindt. U kunt de knop met een
Ingebruikname
Voordat u de uv-stofzuiger gebruikt, hoeft u het beddengoed niet te verwijderen. Wilt u
een matras reinigen, dan adviseren wij echter om het beddengoed eerst te verwijderen,
omdat het dan gemakkelijker is om huisstofmijten, wandluizen en hun uitwerpselen te
verwijderen.
Het rooster van de stofzuiger zorgt ervoor dat lakens en ander beddengoed of materiaal
de zuigopeningen van de uv-stofzuiger aan de onderzijde van het apparaat niet
blokkeren of verstoppen. Zo kunt u indien nodig gemakkelijk stofzuigen zonder de lakens
te verwijderen.
Zet de uv-stofzuiger op het te reinigen oppervlak. Controleer of alle 3 Micro Motion
veiligheidswielen contact hebben met het oppervlak.
Schakel de uv-stofzuiger in met de aan/uit-schakelaar. Deze zit boven links op het
apparaat.

de vergrendelingsknop drukken die op de
linkerzijde van de greep zit. Schuif de greep
zodanig, dat de telescoopstang in het

weer vastklikken. Controleer of de greep
inderdaad vergrendeld is, voordat u het
apparaat optilt.
OPMERKING
De greep op het apparaat lijkt weliswaar heel
flexibel, maar hij werd speciaal ontwikkeld om
het gewicht van het apparaat te dragen.

Aan de voorzijde van het apparaat bevindt zich links en rechts een uv-lichtindicator. Deze
is blauw als het apparaat in gebruik is en alle 3 Micro Motion veiligheidswielen correct
naar beneden worden gedrukt.
De Micro Motion veiligheidswielen zijn nodig voor de correcte werking van de uv-
stofzuiger en zorgen ervoor, dat de uv-lamp niet per ongeluk door de gebruiker van het
apparaat wordt ingeschakeld. WAARSCHUWING! Nooit het uv-licht aanraken of direct in
het uv-licht kijken als de uv-lamp brandt!
Matras reinigen
Houd de uv-stofzuiger vlak op het oppervlak van de matras en beweeg hem gelijkmatig over
de matras.
Houd de uv-stofzuiger niet langer dan 5 SECONDEN op dezelfde plaats, omdat de matras
anders kan verkleuren door de hoge uv-bestraling.
Beweeg de uv-stofzuiger langzaam over het oppervlak. Zo zorgt u ervoor dat er meer
huisstofmijten, wandluizen, hun uitwerpselen en bacteriën aan de uv C-stralen worden
blootgesteld en door de stofzuiger worden opgezogen.
Dankzij de telescoopstang kunt u ook een kingsize matras gemakkelijk reinigen.
Reinigen van andere voorwerpen
Bij dekens, spreien en lakens gaat u op dezelfde manier te werk. Bij kleinere voorwerpen
adviseren wij om de stofzuiger afwisselend voor- en achterwaarts over het te reinigen
oppervlak te bewegen. De stofzuiger kan worden gebruikt voor de reiniging van talrijke zaken
in het huis, zoals tapijten, lopers, matten, hondenmanden en dekens.
STOFBAKJE LEDIGEN
Stofreservoir en filter
Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit
het stopcontact, voordat u het stofreservoir of de
filter verwijdert.
Druk op de ontgrendelingsknop op de bovenzijde
van de stofzuiger om het stofreservoir te
verwijderen.
Om de filter eruit te halen, moet het stofreservoir
naar beneden zijn gericht (zodat de inhoud er niet
uitvalt). De filter met twee vingers vastpakken en
eruit trekken.
U kunt het stofreservoir het beste buiten in een
afvalbak of een gesloten afvalcontainer
leegmaken. Daarna de filter met een borstel
reinigen om eventuele restanten te verwijderen.
(De filter kan in water met de hand worden
gewassen. Laat hem daarna in de lucht drogen
en zet de filter pas weer in het stofreservoir als hij
helemaal droog is.)

NIET IN DE WASMACHINE OF VAATWASSER
REINIGEN!
De schone, geheel droge filter weer in het
stofreservoir plaatsen en vervolgens het stofreservoir
weer in het apparaat terugplaatsen, zodat hij
vastklikt.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
HEPA-filter
Wij adviseren om de HEPA-filter regelmatig te reinigen. De filter kan in water met de hand
worden gewassen.
Controleer of het apparaat is uitgeschakeld en de stekker uit het stopcontact is, voordat u de
HEPA-filter verwijdert. Verwijder het stofreservoir en trek de filter eruit. Op een zijde van de filter
zit een clip. Druk op deze clip en trek eraan. De filter komt nu uit de behuizing. De filter na het
wassen in de lucht laten drogen. Zet de filter pas weer terug in het apparaat als hij helemaal
droog is.
Zijfilter
Het apparaat beschikt bovendien over een zijfilter.
Wij adviseren deze filter om de 12 tot 18
maanden te reinigen. Dat draagt bij tot een
optimale werking van het apparaat.
Uv-lamp
De uv-lamp is zeer breekbaar en mag nooit in contact komen met de huid. Risico op
lichamelijk letsel!
Maak de lamp alleen schoon als dat nodig is. De lamp moet tijdens de reiniging geheel zijn
afgekoeld en mag niet ingeschakeld zijn. Gebruik voor het reinigen van de uv-lamp

UITSLUITEND een zachte, schone en droge doek, waarmee u de lamp voorzichtig
schoonveegt.
