 Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten

Spannung übereinstimmt bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

 Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals beim Gebrauch unbeaufsichtigt.
 Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Anschlussleitung und das Gerät auf

Beschädigungen. Bei Beschädigungen an Anschlussleitung oder Gerät, darf das Gerät
aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht mehr benutzt werden. Für Reparaturen wenden Sie sich an
einen Fachmann

 Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht mit den heißen Teilen des Gerätes in

Kontakt kommt.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung

angegeben.

 Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals ins Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen,

noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht

auf heiße Flächen (z.B. Herdplatten) oder in die Nähe von offenen Flammen –
Brandgefahr!

 Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, und lassen Sie das Gerät erkalten, bevor Sie

es reinigen, befüllen oder wegräumen.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
 Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör

stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.

Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder knicken
Sie diese nicht.

 Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Teile des Gerätes. Fassen Sie nur die Kunststoffteile an oder

heben Sie die Kanne mit Hilfe des Griffes hoch.

 Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile des Gerätes nicht mit leicht entflammbarem

Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen. Brandgefahr!

 Benutzen Sie ausschließlich kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser

aus Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.

 Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrühen, da beim Kochvorgang Dampf aus dem

Kaffeefilter austritt.

 Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich Essig oder hierfür vorgesehene Produkte.

Benutzen Sie niemals Ammoniak oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden
könnten.

 Schalten Sie Ihren Kaffeeautomaten nicht an, ohne Wasser eingefüllt zu haben.
 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die Thermokanne nicht beschädigt ist. Benutzen Sie die

Thermokanne nur für dieses Gerät. Wichtig: Stellen Sie die Thermokanne nie in die
Mikrowelle um den Kaffee aufzuwärmen, und geben Sie diese auch nicht in die
Spülmaschine um sie zu reinigen, da ansonsten Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt. Wir
übernehmen keine Haftung für Schäden infolge des Nichtbeachtens dieser Vorschriften.

 Geben Sie ausschließlich gemahlenen Kaffee in den Filter.
 Vergessen Sie niemals, dass der von der Maschine zubereitete Kaffee heiß ist. Bewegen Sie

die gefüllte Kanne nur mit Sorgfalt um Spritzer zu vermeiden.

 Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates

Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.

Ziehen Sie stets nach Gebrauch den Stecker aus der Steckdose !

ANWENDUNGSBEREICH/TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH

 Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben. Jeglicher

andere Gebrauch kann zu Schäden am Gerät oder Verletzungen führen.

 Dieses Gerät ist nicht für kommerziellen Gebrauch geeignet. Es ist nur für die Nutzung im

Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwendungen konzipiert, wie beispielsweise:

– in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen;
– von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen;
– in Frühstückspensionen;

ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME

 Vor der ersten Kaffeezubereitung führen Sie bitte 2-3 Kochvorgänge mit frischem Wasser

KAFFEEZUBEREITUNG

 Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wasserbehälters, und füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge

in den Frischwasserbehälter ein. Überfüllen sie den Wassertank nicht, indem Sie für
maximal 8 Tassen Kaffee Wasser einfüllen. Die Anzahl der Tassen lesen Sie an der
Wasserstandskala (7)ab.

 Fügen Sie einen Papierfilter (Größe 4) in den Filterträger ein und befüllen Sie ihn mit der

gewünschten Kaffeemenge (pro Tasse 1 Teelöffel, entspricht ca. 6g). HINWEIS: Falten Sie
den unteren und seitlichen Prägerand des Papierfilters so um, dass er sich optimal der
Größe des Filterträgers anpasst.

 Vergessen Sie nicht den Deckel (4) zu schließen bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten

!! ACHTEN Sie bitte darauf das der Deckel einrastet und ein leises ( Klick ) zu hören ist !!

 Stellen Sie die Thermokanne (1) mit geschlossenem Deckel auf die Abstellplatte unter das

Filtersystem.

 Um das Gerät anzuschalten, drücken Sie den Schalter. Die Kontrolllampe am Schalter

leuchtet und zeigt, dass das Gerät in Betrieb ist.

 Wenn Sie die Kaffeemaschine während des Brühvorgangs ausschalten möchten, drücken

Sie den Schalter erneut. Wiederbetätigen des Schalters setzt den Brühvorgang fort.

 Nehmen Sie die Thermokanne nach Beendigung des Brühvorganges von der

Aufnahmeplatte und gießen Sie die gewünschte Menge Kaffee aus, indem Sie den Hebel
am Durchbrühdeckel nach unten gedrückt halten.

 Ein Tropf-Stopp verhindert, dass Kaffee aus dem Filterträger tropft, wenn die Thermokanne

entfernt wird. Der Tropf-Stopp wird wieder geöffnet, sobald Sie die Thermokanne auf die
Abstellplatte zurückstellen.

 Nachdem der Brühvorgang abgeschlossen bzw. nachdem das gesamte Wasser

durchgelaufen ist, schaltet sich das Gerät innerhalb von 5 Minuten automatisch ab!

 Die Thermokanne ermöglicht Ihnen den Kaffee für eine bestimmte Zeit warm zu halten.
 Praktische Hinweise:

 Wenn der Wasserbehälter leer ist, warten Sie bitte noch einige Minuten, damit das

Wasser , welches noch im Filter ist, noch durchlaufen kann.

 Um den Kaffee warm zu halten, nehmen Sie bitte die Thermokanne von der

Abstellplatte , damit der Deckel sich luftdicht verschließt.

 Um den Kaffee aus der Thermokanne zu gießen, drücken Sie den Ausgießhebel am

 Wenn Sie bemerken, dass der Brühvorgang länger als normal dauert, sollten Sie den

entsprechenden Gebrauchsanweisungen. Danach mit klarem Wasser zweimal ohne
Kaffeemehl nachspülen (2 Kochvorgänge) – nicht entkalkte Geräte sind von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.

Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.

Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus

infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.

Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.

Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum Umtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als auch Reinigung, Wartung
oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig!

NACH ABLAUF DER GESETZLICHEN GEWÄHRLEISTUNGSFRIST

Reparaturen können kostenpflichtig von entsprechendem Fachpersonal oder Reparaturservice

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years
old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and the risks involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less

 Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.

 When removing lime scale, only use a special product for the removal of lime scale. Never

use ammonia or any other substance that might damage your health.

 Never operate the appliance without water.
 Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee filter or when

opening the thermos flask.

 Do not use the appliance if the thermos flask is damaged. Use the thermos flask only for

this appliance.

 Important: your thermos flask cannot be put in the microwave oven to warm up the

coffee or in the dishwasher to clean it. We shall not be held responsible for any damages
caused by the non-observance of these instructions.

 Only put ground coffee in the filter.
 Never forget that the coffee coming out of the appliance is very hot. Only move the

thermos flask very carefully to avoid splashing.

 Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of

separate remote control system.

Always unplug the appliance after use !

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION

 Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications

such as:

INITIAL OPERATION

 For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh water (without coffee). These

boil-processes are absolutely necessary.

 Once all the water has passed through, switch the appliance off and let it cool down

during 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.

PREPARATION OF COFFEE

 Open the lid of the water tank and pour the desired volume of water in it. Make sure not

to overfill by filling maximum 8 cups of water. The number of cups can be read from the
water level indicator (7).

 Use a paper filter (size 4) in the filter holder and add the desired quantity of ground coffee

(1 teaspoon per cup, approximately 6g). Pay attention: fold the bottom and the side
edges of the paper filter in such a way that it fits perfectly in the filter holder.

 Do never forget to close the lid of the water tank (4) before switching on your coffee

maker. !! Attention please close the lid exactly !!

 Put the thermos flask (1) with closed lid on the supporting plate.
 To switch on the machine, put the switch and its pilot light will come on, indicating that the

appliance is working.

 When you want to stop the process during the brewing push again, you can push the

button again to start.

 When the brewing process is over, remove the thermos flask from the supporting plate and

pour the desired amount of coffee, keeping the lever of the trickle-through lid pressed
down.

 When you remove the thermos flask from the appliance, a non-drip valve will

automatically operate to stop any drops of coffee dripping onto the hotplate.
Replacement of the thermos flask automatically opens the non-drip valve and allows
remaining coffee to filter through into the thermos flask.

 After the brew process is complete and the water has run through, the coffee maker

switches off automatically within 5 minutes!

 The thermos flask allows you to keep the coffee warm for quite some time.
 Practical hints:

 When the water tank is empty, wait a few additional minutes, as some water might

still drip out of the filter.

 To keep the coffee warm, remove the flask from the appliance, as then the cap will

close itself hermetically.

 Press the lever of the lid to pour coffee.

DECALCIFICATION AND CLEANING

 When you notice that the coffee making process is longer than it should be, it is probably

time to decalcify the appliance. Do not wait until the situation gets worse. The
decalcifying frequency depends on the amount of lime in water and therefore can be
different from family to family. Therefore it is important to pay attention to this.

 We advise you to descale the coffee maker to prolong its life span. For descaling only use

products especially made for descaling of coffee makers and follow their instruction
manual. Then rinse the appliance twice with fresh water, without coffee powder.
Guarantee claims will not be accepted for appliances that have not been descaled.

 Never use a dishwasher to clean the appliance or its accessories. Just clean the thermos

flask in soapsuds.

 To clean the plastic parts of the appliance, use a damp, non abrasive cloth.

implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.

TERMS OF GUARANTEE

For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the
legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted
for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to
intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or normal wear
and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if
attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held
responsible in case of accidents.

If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete appliance
in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only be valid if
the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs repair.

Or send the appliance cleaned, well packed and with a short, easily readable description of
the default as well as the receipt freight prepaid to our customer service in our firm in Bad
Blankenburg.

In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of
worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!

AFTER THE LEGAL PERIOD OF GUARANTEE

Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.

 Veillez à ce que l’appareil n’entre pas en contact avec des matériaux facilement

inflammables comme les rideaux, les tissus,... lorsqu’il est en fonctionnement car le feu
pourrait se déclarer. Ne placez pas l'appareil sur des surfaces chaudes ou à proximité
d'une flamme afin d'éviter que le corps de l'appareil ne fonde.

 Veillez à n’utiliser que de l’eau fraîche (potable) et froide (tempérée). Ne pas utiliser l’eau

contenue dans des baignoires, lavabos ou autres récipients.

 Lors d’un éventuel détartrage, ne faites usage que de produits spécialement étudiés pour

le détartrage de cafetière. Ne faites pas usage d’ammoniac ou de toute autre substance
qui pourrait nuire à votre santé.

 Ne faites pas fonctionner votre cafetière sans eau.
 Attention de ne pas vous brûler avec la vapeur qui s’échappe au-dessus du filtre à café

ou lors de l’ouverture de la verseuse.

 N’utilisez cet appareil que si la carafe ne présente aucune fêlure. N’utilisez cette carafe

que sur cet appareil.

 Important: votre verseuse ne peut en aucun cas être placée dans un four à micro-ondes

pour réchauffer le café ou dans un lave vaisselle pour son nettoyage. Nous ne saurions
être tenus comme responsables des dégâts causés par le non-respect de ces consignes.

 Ne mettez rien d’autre que du café moulu dans le filtre à café.
 N'oubliez jamais que le café sorti de la cafetière est chaud. Manipulez la carafe avec

précaution afin d'éviter tout risque d'éclaboussures.

 Votre appareil ne doit jamais etre mis en fonctionnement par le biais d’une minuterie

exterieure ou d’un autre systeme de commande a distance separe.

POUR FAIRE LE CAFE

 Ouvrez le couvercle du réservoir et versez la quantité d’eau désirée. Ne versez pas plus de

8 tasses d'eau dans le réservoir. Le nombre de tasses figure sur l'indication du niveau d'eau
(7).

 Mettez un filtre papier (taille 4) dans le porte-filtre et remplissez-le avec la quantité de café

moulu désirée (une cuillère à café par tasse, plus ou moins 6 gr). Attention: pliez le fond et
les bords du filtre papier de façon à ce qu’il s’insère parfaitement dans le porte-filtre.

 N’oubliez pas de refermer le couvercle du réservoir (4) avant de mettre l’appareil en

fonctionnement. ! S'il vous plaît assurez-vous de verrouiller le couvercle et on peut

entendre un clic (faible) à!

 Placez la verseuse isolante (1) avec couvercle fermé sur la plaque de support.
 Pour mettre l’appareil en fonctionnement, placez votre interrupteur et son voyant

lumineux s’allumera alors vous indiquant la mise en fonctionnement de votre appareil.

 Dès que le réservoir est vide et que le café est passé, retirez la verseuse et servez la

quantité de café désirée, en maintenant fermé le couvercle de la verseuse.

 Lorsque vous retirez la verseuse de l’appareil, une valve anti-gouttes se ferme

automatiquement pour éviter que toute goutte de café ne tombe. La remise en place de
la verseuse ouvre automatiquement le système anti-gouttes et permet au café restant
dans le filtre de passer.

 Lorsque le réservoir d’eau est vide et le café cesse de couler, la cafetière s’éteindra

automatiquement après 5 minutes!

 La verseuse isolante vous permet de maintenir le café au chaud pendant un certain

temps.

 Conseils pratiques:

 lorsque le réservoir d’eau est vide, attendez quelques minutes supplémentaires car

de l’eau reste dans le filtre et continue à couler.

 Pour garder le café au chaud plus longtemps, retirez la verseuse de la cafetière car

ainsi le bouchon se refermera de façon étanche.

 Appuyez sur le levier du couvercle pour verser le café.

DETARTRAGE ET NETTOYAGE

 Lorsque vous constatez une augmentation du temps de passage du café, effectuez un

détartrage complet de votre appareil et n’attendez surtout pas que la situation
s’aggrave. La fréquence de détartrage est fonction de la dureté de l’eau et varie par

conséquent selon les foyers. Il est par conséquent important de porter une attention
particulière au phénomène d’entartrage. L’entretien de votre cafetière est important
pour sa durée de vie. Pour cela utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Le remplacement
d’une résistance entartrée ne sera pas pris en compte dans le cadre de la garantie.

 Nous vous conseillons de détartrer votre appareil régulièrement pour le garder en bon

état. Pour cela, utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous trouverez dans
le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Rincez ensuite l'appareil deux fois
à l'eau claire, sans café. Un appareil qui n'a pas été détartré ne sera pas couvert par la
garantie.

 Ne mettez aucune partie de votre cafetière dans le lave-vaisselle. Nettoyez la verseuse à

l’eau chaude savonneuse et rincez-la à l’eau claire.

 Pour les parties plastiques, utilisez une éponge non abrasives ou un chiffon humide.

PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/CE

Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils

électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite

l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre

appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur
l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée
aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le droit de déposer l'appareil gratuitement dans des lieux
publics de collecte procédant à un tri sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé
pour d’autres applications conformément à la directive.

CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE

Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie : les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.

Si vous constatez un défaut, adressez-vous à votre revendeur ou au magasin et retournez
l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les réclamations
introduites dans le cadre de la garantie sont uniquement valables si le ticket de caisse ou la
copie d’une facture de réparation éventuelle est joint(e).

Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description
du défaut en majuscules à notre service après-vente dans notre firme à Bad Blankenburg en
joignant également votre ticket de caisse.

Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant. L'échange des accessoires soumis à
l'usure ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas couverts
par la garantie et l'échange de ces pièces sera donc payant!

APRES LA PERIODE LEGALE DE GARANTIE

Les réparations après la période de garantie peuvent être effectuées par un service qualifié
compétent ou par un service de réparation moyennant payement.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt.

Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van
meer dan 8 jaar oud en door personen met beperkte fysieke,
sensoriële of mentale capaciteiten of met een gebrek aan
ervaring of kennis als ze onder toezicht staan of vooraf
instructies hebben gekregen betreffende een veilig gebruik

van het toestel en de risico’s die ermee gepaard gaan.

Kinderen mogen in geen geval met het toestel spelen.
Schoonmaak en onderhoud mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht
staan.
Houd het apparaat en zijn snoer buiten het bereik van
kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.

 Het toestel mag enkel gebruikt worden zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven is.
 Wanneer u dit toestel aan een andere gebruiker overhandigt, gelieve altijd deze

gebruiksaanwijzing bij te sluiten.

 Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel

vooraleer u het gebruikt.

 Laat uw toestel tijdens het gebruik nooit zonder toezicht.
 Controleer regelmatig of het snoer niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel

niet indien het snoer en/of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden
vertonen. Laat het in dat geval nakijken en herstellen door een bekwame
gekwalificeerde dienst (*).

 Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de

gebruiksaanwijzing.

 Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te

reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een afwasmachine.

 Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
 Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt,

vult of opbergt.

 Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge plaats.
 Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan

gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.

 Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Plaats het toestel op een stabiel

oppervlak zodat het niet kan vallen. Zorg ervoor dat het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan
achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond
het toestel en plooi het niet.

 Let erop dat u de warme onderdelen van het toestel niet aanraakt. Raak alleen de plastic

onderdelen aan en neem de thermoskan enkel bij het handvat vast.

 Zorg ervoor dat het toestel nooit in contact geraakt met ontvlambare stoffen zoals

gordijnen en dergelijke wanneer het in gebruik is om brand te vermijden. Plaats het toestel

 Gebruik enkel koud of lauw (drinkbaar) water. Geen water gebruiken uit baden, wastafels

of andere recipiënten.

 Gebruik dit toestel enkel indien de thermosfles geen enkele beschadiging vertoont.

Gebruik de thermosfles enkel met dit toestel.

 Laat uw koffiezetapparaat niet werken zonder water.
 Pas op dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die boven de koffiefilter en bij het openen

van de thermoskan ontsnapt.

 Gebruik voor het ontkalken enkel een speciaal hiertoe bestemd product. Gebruik geen

ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid zou kunnen schaden.

 Belangrijk: plaats de thermoskan nooit in de microgolfoven om de koffie op te warmen of

in de vaatwasmachine om de thermoskan te reinigen. We kunnen niet aansprakelijk
worden gehouden voor schade ten gevolge van het niet-naleven van deze instructies.

 Schep enkel gemalen koffie in de filter.
 Vergeet nooit dat de temperatuur van uw bereide koffie hoog is. Behandel de kan

voorzichtig om spatten te voorkomen.

 Uw toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een externe timer of een

separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.

Trek na het gebruik altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact !

Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder, die
erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden
wordt. Gelieve het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.

TOEPASSINGS-/GEBRUIKSDOMEIN

 Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de

gebruiksaanwijzing.

 Dit toestel is bestemd om te worden gebruikt voor huishoudelijke toepassingen en

gelijkaardige toepassingen zoals:

EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME

 Laat het apparaat eerst 2 maal met zuiver water doorlopen (zonder koffie). Deze

procedure is absoluut noodzakelijk.

 Wanneer het water doorgelopen is, schakel het apparaat dan uit, laat het 5

minuten afkoelen en herhaal de procedure.

KOFFIE ZETTEN

 Open het deksel van het waterreservoir en giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water erin.

Overschrijd het maximumpeil van 8 kopjes niet, anders zal de thermosfles overlopen. Het
aantal kopjes kunt u van de waterpeilaanduiding (7)aflezen.

Keukenhoeken voorbehouden voor het personeel in winkels, kantoren en
andere professionele omgevingen.
Boerderijen.
Het gebruik door de klanten van hotels, motels en andere omgevingen met een
residentieel karakter.
Omgevingen van het gastenverblijf-type.

 Leg een papieren filter (maat 4) in de filterhouder en vul deze met de gewenste

hoeveelheid gemalen koffie(1 theelepeltje per kopje, ca. 6 gr). Let op: vouw de onderste
rand en de zijrand van de papierfilter zo om dat hij perfect in de filterhouder past.

 Vergeet niet het deksel (4) te sluiten alvorens u het apparaat aanzet.
 Zorg ervoor dat u het deksel vergrendelen en te horen een zwakke (klik) naar!
 Plaats de thermoskan (1) met gesloten deksel op de steunplaat.
 Om het apparaat aan te schakelen, zet de schakelaar en het controlelampje zal branden

om aan te duiden dat het toestel in werking is getreden.

 Wanneer de koffie doorgelopen is, haal de thermoskan uit het toestel en schenk de

gewenste hoeveelheid koffie uit. Houd daarvoor de hendel van het doorsijpeldeksel naar
beneden gedrukt.

 Wanneer u de thermoskan wegneemt, zal het anti-drupsysteem zich automatisch sluiten

zodat geen enkele druppel meer op de warmhoudplaat valt. Het terugplaatsen van de
thermoskan opent automatisch het anti-drupsysteem en laat toe dat de overgebleven
koffie in de filter verder in de thermoskan loopt.

 Wanneer het zetten van de koffie afgelopen is en al het water doorgelopen is, schakelt

het koffiezetapparaat zich na 5 minuten automatisch uit!

 De thermoskan maakt het u mogelijk de koffie een zekere tijd warm te houden.
 Praktische tips:

 Wacht nog enkele minuutjes wanneer het waterreservoir leeg is, daar het overige

water dat nog in de filter is, zou kunnen doorlopen.

 Om koffie warm te houden, raden wij u aan de thermos uit het toestel te nemen

zodat het deksel zich luchtdicht kan sluiten.

 Druk op de hendel van het deksel om koffie uit te gieten.

ONTKALKEN EN REINIGEN

 Indien u merkt dat de koffie trager doorloopt, ontkalkt u best het apparaat. Wacht

in geen geval tot het erger wordt. De ontkalkingfrequentie hangt af van het
kalkgehalte van het water en varieert bijgevolg van gezin tot gezin. Het is dus heel
belangrijk om de kalkaanslag in het oog te houden.

 Wij raden U aan het apparaat regelmatig te ontkalken. Dit verlengt de levensduur van het

apparaat. Gebruik hiervoor de in de handel zijnde ontkalkingmiddelen en volg hun
gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig. Spoel daarna het toestel met zuiver water, zonder koffie.
Een toestel dat niet werd ontkalkt, wordt niet door de garantie gedekt.

 Plaats geen enkel onderdeel van uw koffiezetapparaat in de vaatwasmachine. Reinig de

thermoskan in een warme sop.

 Gebruik een vochtige doek om de plastieken delen te reinigen.

MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2012/19/EG

Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Om deze reden mag uw

apparaat, zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool ,
niet met het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel
gratis naar een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het
overeenkomstig de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal
worden.

GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN

Voor onze producten gelden de wettelijke bepalingen wat betreft aanspraken op de
waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er
pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet
aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.

Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking
samen met uw kasticket. Aanspraken op de garantie gelden enkel indien het kasticket of een
kopie van een eventuele herstelfactuur bijgesloten wordt.

Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare
beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek
in Bad Blankenburg.

Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!

NA AFLOOP VAN DE WETTELIJKE GARANTIEPERIODE

Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
gekwalificeerde vaklui of herstellingsdiensten uitgevoerd worden.
