Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Stellen Sie das
Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf eine ebene Fläche damit es nicht umfällt. Achten Sie
darauf, dass nicht die Anschlussleitung irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des
Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder knicken
Sie diese nicht.

Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Teile des Gerätes. Fassen Sie nur die Kunststoffteile an oder
heben Sie die Kanne mit Hilfe des Griffes hoch.

Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile des Gerätes nicht mit leicht entflammbarem
Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen. Brandgefahr!
q
Benutzen Sie ausschließlich kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser
aus Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
q
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die Kanne nicht beschädigt ist. Benutzen Sie die Kanne
nur für dieses Gerät.
q
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrühen, da beim Kochvorgang Dampf aus dem
Kaffeefilter austritt.

Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich hierfür vorgesehene Produkte. Benutzen Sie
niemals Ammoniak oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden könnten.
q
Geben Sie ausschließlich gemahlenen Kaffee in den Filter.
q
Schalten Sie Ihre Kaffeemaschine nicht an ohne Wasser eingefüllt zu haben.
q
Vergessen Sie niemals, dass der von der Maschine zubereitete Kaffee heiß ist. Bewegen Sie
die gefüllte Kanne nur mit Sorgfalt um Spritzer zu vermeiden.
q Ziehen Sie stets nach Gebrauch den Stecker aus der Steckdose !

Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen
Kundendienst.
HINWEIS
Das Gerät besitzt keinen Ausschalter. Nachdem das Wasser komplett durchgelaufen ist,
schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Ziehen Sie daher bei Nichtgebrauch stets den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Bei versehentlich eingeschalteten Gerät warten Sie die
automatische Abschaltung ab und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. Auch ein kurzzeitig
gezogener Netzstecker lässt das Gerät nicht abschalten.
Öffnen Sie während des Betriebes niemals den Wassertankdeckel, heißes Wasser kann
herausspritzen und zu Verbrennungen führen.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
• Vor der ersten Kaffeezubereitung führen Sie bitte mindestens 3 Kochvorgänge mit frischem
Wasser durch (ohne Kaffeepulver), siehe Abschnitt „Kaffeezubereitung“.
• Ist das Wasser komplett durchgelaufen, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab.
Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang nach ca. 5 Minuten mit frischem Wasser.
KAFFEEZUBEREITUNG
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wassertanks (5).
• Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge in den Wassertank ein. Überfüllen Sie den
Wassertank nicht, indem Sie für maximal 12 Tassen Kaffee Wasser einfüllen (Markierung
„MAX“ am Wassertank nicht überschreiten). Die Anzahl der Tassen lesen Sie an der
Wasserstandskala (6) ab. Benutzen Sie beim Brühen von mehr als 10 Tassen Kaffee
Papierfiltertüten, da die Feinporigkeit des Dauerfilters nur ein langsames Durchlaufen
zulässt und bei übermäßiger Kaffeepulvermenge ein Überlaufen möglich sein könnte.
• Nutzen Sie den Dauerfilter (12) oder fügen Sie einen Papierfilter (Größe 4) in den Filterträger
(11) ein und befüllen Sie ihn mit der gewünschten Kaffeemenge (pro Tasse 1 Teelöffel,
entspricht ca. 6g). Beachten Sie: Falten Sie den unteren und seitlichen Prägerand des
Papierfilters so um, dass er sich optimal der Größe des Filterträgers anpasst.
•
Hinweis:
Bei einem Einsatz ohne mitgelieferten Dauerfilter (nur mit Papierfiltertüte) ist eine
aromaschonende Brühfunktion nicht möglich.
• Setzen Sie den Dauerfilter so in den Filterträger, dass die halbrunde Aussparung exakt passt,
setzen Sie den Filterträger mit der Aussparung nach vorn in das Gerät, Griffteil nach links in
die Aussparung und rasten Sie ihn hörbar ein.
• Vergessen Sie nicht den Deckel (5) zu schließen bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten.
• Stellen Sie die Thermokanne (8) mit geschlossenem Deckel (9) auf die Aufnahmeplatte (2)
unter das Filtersystem.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät am Schalter (7) ein. Die Kontrollleuchte am Schalter geht an, und
zeigt, dass das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Die Thermokanne ermöglicht Ihnen den Kaffee für eine
bestimmte Zeit warm zu halten.
• Nehmen Sie die Thermokanne nach Beendigung des Brühvorganges von der
Aufnahmeplatte (Tropfstopp (3) verhindert Nachtropfen) und gießen Sie die gewünschte
Menge Kaffee aus, indem Sie den Hebel (10) am Durchbrühdeckel nach unten gedrückt
halten.
AROMAWAHLSCHALTER
• Das Gerät ist mit einem Aromawahlschalter (4) ausgestattet. Dieser ermöglicht Ihnen die
Wahl zwischen Normalkaffee (Position ) oder aromaschonenden Kaffee
(Position ). Im Falle des aromaschonenden Brühvorganges, wird ein Teil des heißen
Wassers separat in die Thermokanne geführt.
ENTKALKUNG UND REINIGUNG
• Wir empfehlen Ihnen, zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer das Gerät regelmäßig zu
entkalken. Verwenden Sie hierzu nur handelsübliche Entkalkungsmittel und beachten Sie
die entsprechenden Gebrauchsanweisungen. Danach mit klarem Wasser zweimal ohne
Kaffeemehl nachspülen (2 Kochvorgänge) – nicht entkalkte Geräte sind von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
• Stellen Sie niemals das Gerät und das Zubehör in die Spülmaschine. Reinigen Sie die
Kaffeekanne mit Seifenwasser.
• Die Plastikteile wischen Sie am besten mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE
Wenn Sie bemerken, dass der Brühvorgang länger als normal dauert, sollten Sie den
Kaffeeautomat entkalken. Warten Sie nicht, bis es noch schlimmer wird. Wie oft Sie die
Kaffeemaschine entkalken müssen, hängt von der Häufigkeit des Gebrauches und der
Kalkmenge im Wasser ab und ist daher von Benutzer zu Benutzer unterschiedlich.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG
Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus
wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen der
Richtlinie sichergestellt.

GEWÄHRLEISTUNGS- UND GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
Für unsere Produkte gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen für Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Innerhalb dieser Zeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen,
behoben. Davon ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schäden, die
durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder
infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.
Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung zusammen mit dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren
Kundendienst in unserer Firma in Bad Blankenburg zu senden.
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum Umtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen!
Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als auch Reinigung, Wartung
oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig!

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.

Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the
instruction manual together with the appliance.

Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.

Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction

or wash stand or other containers.

Do not use the appliance if the thermos flask is damaged. Use the thermos flask only for
this appliance.

Pay attention not to get burned by the steam coming out of the filter during use.

When removing lime scale, only use special products for the removal of lime scale. Never
use ammonia or any other substance that might damage your health.

Only put ground coffee in the filter.
q
Never use your coffee maker without water in it.
q
Never forget that the coffee coming out of the appliance is very hot. Only move the
thermos flask very carefully to avoid splashing.
q Always unplug the appliance after use!

Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to

NOTE
The appliance does not have an OFF switch. Once all the water has passed through, the
appliance turns off automatically. Therefore always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
If the appliance is turned on by accident, wait until it turns off automatically and let it cool
down. Even when the appliance is unplugged only for a moment, it will not turn off.
Never open the lid of the water tank when in use, hot water can splash and cause burns.
INITIAL OPERATION
• When you use your appliance for the first time, pour fresh water into the water tank and
switch on the appliance (see paragraph “Preparation of coffee”) without coffee in it.
• Once all the water has passed through, the appliance switches off automatically. When it
is cold enough (after about 5 minutes) repeat the process with fresh water only. Repeat
this process at least 2 times.
PREPARATION OF COFFEE
• Open the lid of the water tank (5).
• Pour the desired amount of water into the water tank. Make sure not to overfill by filling
maximum 12 cups of water (do not exceed the “MAX” indication on the water tank). The
number of cups can be read from the water level indicator (6). Use a paper filter if you
want to make more than 10 cups of coffee, as the fine pores of the permanent filter only
allow the coffee to pass through slowly and using too much coffee powder might make it
run over.
• Use the permanent filter (12) or insert a paper filter (size 4) in the filter holder (11) and add
the desired quantity of ground coffee (1 teaspoon per cup, approximately 6g). Pay
attention: fold the bottom and the side edges of the paper filter in such a way that it fits
perfectly in the filter holder.
•
Note:
When the permanent filter is not being used (but only a paper filter), an aroma-
retaining brewing is not possible.
• Put the permanent filter in the filter holder in such a way that the half round notch fits
exactly, then put the filter holder in the appliance with the notch in front and the small
handle in the foreseen notch on the left. Press on the filter holder until you hear a click.
• Never forget to close the lid (5) before switching on your coffee maker.
• Put the thermos flask (8) with closed lid (9) on the supporting plate (2).
• Switch on the coffee maker with the switch (7). The pilot light on the switch will be
illuminated, indicating that your appliance is in use. The thermos flask allows you to keep
the coffee warm for quite some time.
• When the brewing process is over, remove the thermos flask from the supporting plate (the
drip stop (3) will prevent dripping) and pour the desired amount of coffee, keeping the
lever (10) of the trickle-through lid pressed down.
AROMA SELECTOR SWITCH
The appliance has an aroma selector switch (4) which makes it possible to choose between
normal coffee (position ) and aroma retaining coffee (position ). If you choose an
aroma retaining brewing process, some of the hot water will drip separately into the thermos
flask.

DESCALING AND CLEANING
• We advise you to descale the coffee maker to prolong its life span. For descaling, only use
products especially made for the descaling of coffee makers and follow their instruction
manual. Then rinse the appliance twice with fresh water, without coffee powder.
Guarantee claims will not be accepted for appliances that have not been descaled.
• Never use a dishwasher to clean the appliance or its accessories. Just clean the thermos
flask in soapsuds.
• To clean the plastic parts of the appliance, use a damp, non abrasive cloth.
PRACTICAL HINTS
When you notice that the coffee making process is longer than it should be, it is probably time
to descale the appliance. Do not wait until the situation gets worse. The descaling frequency
depends on the amount of lime in water and therefore can be different from family to family.

TERMS OF GUARANTEE
For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the
legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted
for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to
intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or normal wear
and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if
attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held
responsible in case of accidents.
If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete
appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only
be valid if the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs
repair.
Or send the appliance cleaned, well packed and with a short, easily readable description of
the default as well as the receipt freight prepaid to our customer service in our firm in Bad
Blankenburg.
In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory!
In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of

NOTE
L’appareil n’a pas de position OFF. Une fois toute l’eau passée, l’appareil s’éteint
automatiquement. Par conséquent, débranchez toujours l’appareil lorsque vous ne l’utilisez
pas. Si l’appareil est mis en marche par accident, attendez qu’il s’éteigne automatiquement et
laissez-le refroidir. Même lorsque l’appareil est débranché pendant un court moment, il ne
s’éteint pas. N’ouvrez jamais le couvercle du réservoir lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil, de l’eau
chaude peut jaillir et provoquer des brûlures.
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Lorsque vous utilisez votre appareil pour la première fois, versez de l’eau fraîche dans le
réservoir et mettez l'appareil en fonctionnement (lisez le paragraphe “Pour faire le café”)
sans mettre de café.
• Dès que l’eau est passée, votre appareil s’éteint automatiquement. Répétez cette
opération sans café au moins 2 fois successivement en attendant à chaque fois que
l’appareil soit suffisamment refroidi (après environ 5 minutes).
POUR FAIRE LE CAFÉ
• Soulevez le couvercle du réservoir (5).
• Versez la quantité d’eau désirée dans le réservoir. Ne versez pas plus de 12 tasses d'eau
dans le réservoir (ne dépassez pas l’indication « MAX » sur la carafe). Le nombre de tasses
figure sur l'indication du niveau d'eau (6). Utilisez un filtre papier si vous souhaitez plus de
dix tasses de café, étant donné que les pores fins du filtre permanent ne laissent passer le
café que lentement et qu’utiliser trop de café moulu pourrait le faire déborder.
• Employez le filtre permanent (12) ou mettez un filtre papier (taille 4) dans le porte-filtre (11)
et remplissez-le avec la quantité de café moulu désirée (une cuillère à café par tasse, plus
ou moins 6 gr). Attention: pliez le fond et les bords du filtre papier de façon à ce qu’il
s’insère parfaitement dans le porte-filtre.
•
Note:
Lorsque le filtre permanent n’est pas utilisé (mais uniquement un filtre papier), il n’est
pas possible de retenir tout l’arôme du café.
• Placez le filtre permanent dans le porte-filtre de façon à ce que l’encoche semi-circulaire
s’emboîte parfaitement, placez ensuite le porte-filtre dans l’appareil avec l’encoche face
à vous et la petite poignée dans l’encoche prévue à gauche. Appuyez sur le porte-filtre
jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclique. N’oubliez pas de refermer le couvercle (5) avant de mettre
l’appareil en marche.
• Placez la verseuse isolante (8) avec couvercle (9) fermé sur la plaque de support (2).
• Ensuite, allumez la cafetière à l’aide de l’interrupteur (7). Le témoin lumineux (4) situé sur
l’interrupteur s'allumera, vous indiquant que votre appareil est en fonctionnement. La
verseuse isolante vous permet de maintenir le café au chaud pendant un certain temps.
• Dès que le réservoir est vide et que le café est passé, retirez la verseuse (le système anti-
gouttes (3) empêche les gouttes de tomber sur la plaque) et servez la quantité de café
désirée, en maintenant fermé le couvercle de la verseuse.

SELECTEUR D’ARÔME
L’appareil possède un bouton sélecteur d’arôme (4) qui permet de choisir entre du café
normal (position ) et du café à l’arôme plus fort (position ). Si vous choisissez de
passer le café en retenant son arôme, une partie de l’eau chaude coulera séparément dans
la verseuse.
DÉTARTRAGE ET NETTOYAGE
• Nous vous conseillons de détartrer votre appareil régulièrement pour le garder en bon
état. Pour cela, utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous trouverez dans
le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Rincez ensuite l'appareil deux fois
à l'eau claire, sans café. Un appareil qui n'a pas été détartré ne sera pas couvert par la
garantie.
• Ne mettez aucune partie de votre cafetière dans le lave-vaisselle. Nettoyez la verseuse à
l’eau chaude savonneuse et rincez-la à l’eau claire.
• Pour les parties plastiques, utilisez une éponge non abrasive ou un chiffon humide.
CONSEILS PRATIQUES
Lorsque vous constatez une augmentation du temps de passage du café, effectuez un
détartrage complet de votre appareil et n’attendez surtout pas que la situation s’aggrave. La
fréquence de détartrage est fonction de la dureté de l’eau et varie par conséquent selon les
foyers. Il est par conséquent important de porter une attention particulière au phénomène
d’entartrage.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE
Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils
électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite
l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre
appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur
l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée
aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le droit de déposer l'appareil gratuitement dans des lieux
publics de collecte procédant à un tri sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé
pour d’autres applications conformément à la directive.
CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie : les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.

OPMERKING
Het toestel heeft geen uitschakelaar. Wanneer het water volledig doorgelopen is, schakelt
het toestel zich automatisch uit. Trek daarom altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact, wanneer het
toestel niet in gebruik is. Wanneer u het toestel per ongeluk hebt ingeschakeld, wacht dan tot
het zich automatisch uitschakelt en laat het afkoelen. Ook wanneer de stekker slechts
kortstondig uit het stopcontact wordt getrokken, schakelt dit het toestel niet uit.
Open tijdens het gebruik nooit het deksel van het waterreservoir, want heet water kan spatten
en brandwonden veroorzaken.
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
• Wanneer u uw koffiezetapparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, giet dan vooreerst vers
water in het waterreservoir en schakel het toestel in (zie paragraaf “Koffie zetten”) zonder
koffie.
• Is het water helemaal doorgelopen, dan schakelt het apparaat zich automatisch uit.
Herhaal deze handeling zonder koffie minstens 2 maal waarbij u telkens wacht tot het
apparaat afgekoeld is (ongeveer 5 minuten).
KOFFIE ZETTEN
• Open het deksel van het waterreservoir en van de behuizing van de filterhouder (5).
• Giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water in het reservoir. Overschrijd het maximumpeil van 12
kopjes niet (indicatie “MAX” op het waterreservoir), anders zal de thermoskan overlopen.
Het aantal kopjes kunt u van de waterpeilaanduiding (6) aflezen. Gebruik papieren filters
wanneer u meer dan 10 kopjes koffie wilt zetten, want de fijne poriën van de duurzame
filter laten de koffie slechts langzaam door en bij een overmatig gebruik van koffiepoeder
kan de filter overlopen.
• Gebruik de duurzame filter (12) of leg een papieren filter (maat 4) in de filterhouder (11) en
vul deze met de gewenste hoeveelheid gemalen koffie (1 theelepeltje per kopje, ca. 6 gr).
Let op: vouw de onderste rand en de zijrand van de papierfilter zo om dat hij perfect in de
filterhouder past.
•
Opmerking:
Wanneer de duurzame filter niet gebruikt wordt (maar enkel een papierfilter), is
het niet mogelijk aromabewarende koffie te zetten.
• Plaats de duurzame filter zo in de filterhouder dat de halfronde uitsparing precies past, en
zet dan de filterhouder in het apparaat met de uitsparing naar voren gericht en het
handgreepje links in de voorziene uitsparing. Druk op de filterhouder tot u een klik hoort.
• Vergeet het deksel (5) niet te sluiten vooraleer u het toestel inschakelt.
• Plaats de thermoskan (8) met gesloten deksel (9) op de steunplaat (2).
• Schakel het koffiezetapparaat in aan de hand van de schakelaar (7). Het controlelampje
op de schakelaar zal branden om aan te duiden dat het toestel in werking is getreden.
De thermoskan maakt het u mogelijk de koffie een zekere tijd warm te houden.
• Wanneer de koffie doorgelopen is, haal dan de thermoskan uit het toestel (een
druppelstop (3) zorgt ervoor dat het water niet op de steunplaat drupt) en schenk de
gewenste hoeveelheid koffie uit. Houd daarvoor de hendel (10) van het doorsijpeldeksel
naar beneden gedrukt.
AROMAKEUZESCHAKELAAR
Het toestel beschikt over een aromakeuzeschakelaar (4). Dit biedt u de mogelijkheid om te
kiezen tussen normale koffie (stand ) en aromabewarende koffie (stand ). In het
laatste geval druipt een deel van het hete water apart in de thermoskan.

ONTKALKING EN REINIGING
• Wij raden u aan het apparaat regelmatig te ontkalken. Dit verlengt de levensduur van het
apparaat. Gebruik hiervoor de in de handel zijnde ontkalkingsmiddelen en volg hun
gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig. Spoel daarna het toestel met zuiver water, zonder koffie
(2 cycli). Een toestel dat niet werd ontkalkt, wordt niet door de garantie gedekt.
• Plaats geen enkel onderdeel van uw koffiezetapparaat in de vaatwasmachine. Reinig de
thermoskan in een warme sop.
• Gebruik een vochtige doek om de plastieken delen te reinigen.
PRAKTISCHE TIPS
Indien u merkt dat de koffie trager doorloopt, ontkalkt u best het apparaat. Wacht in geen
geval tot het erger wordt. De ontkalkingsfrequentie hangt af van het kalkgehalte in het water
en varieert bijgevolg van gezin tot gezin. Het is dus heel belangrijk om de kalkaanslag in het
oog te houden.

Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Om deze reden mag uw
apparaat, zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool ,
niet met het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel
gratis naar een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het
overeenkomstig de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal
worden.
GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
Voor onze producten gelden de wettelijke bepalingen wat betreft aanspraken op de
waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er
pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet
aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking
samen met uw kasticket. Aanspraken op de garantie gelden enkel indien het kasticket of een
kopie van een eventuele herstelfactuur bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare
beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek
in Bad Blankenburg.

Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires.
Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!
NA AFLOOP VAN DE WETTELIJKE GARANTIEPERIODE
Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
gekwalificeerde vaklui of herstellingsdiensten uitgevoerd worden.
