SAFE OPERATION
• DO NOT use flammable materials in this sprayer. Material could ignite or explode causing SERIOUS INJURY.
• DO NOT use caustics or acids. Either can cause corrosion and weaken hose gaskets.
• DO NOT use hot water. Excess heat can weaken plastic and rubber components.
• DO NOT use sprayer if hose is frayed, cracked or shows signs of swelling.
• NEVER stand with face or body over sprayer when pressurizing tank or releasing pressure.
• NEVER point sprayer at face or body.
• NEVER pressurize sprayer using an air compressor or other means. Excessive pressure can cause sprayer to explode. ONLY PRESSURIZE sprayer using built in pump mechanism.
• NEVER spray heated or self heated solutions.
• NEVER spray upwind. Avoid contact with solutions.
• ALWAYS read and understand directions supplied by manufacturer/packager of product to be sprayed.
• ALWAYS wear safety glasses (eye protection) that meet ANSI Z87.1 or CE requirements and protective clothing when using sprayer.
• ALWAYS use ECHO replacement parts. Use of improper parts may lead to failure and serious injury.
• ALWAYS KEEP SPRAYER AND SPRAY MATERIALS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
IMPORTANT
DO NOT operate without liquid in the chemical tank. Damage to the pump will occur.

SPRAY EXTENSION
Always conduct a test using clean water before mixing chemicals. Spray extension must be attached to shutoff assembly. Make certain that valve seat is in place before attaching. Tighten firmly.

OPERATION
Always conduct a test using clean water before mixing chemicals.
1 . Prior to each use of sprayer, check all connections (i.e.: hose,
shutoff handle, extension, etc.) to make certain they are firmly secured.
2 . Lightly lubricate pump rod near the rod seal grommet to seal and
increase the life of rod and grommet.
3 . When mixing chemicals, follow package label instructions. Mix
chemicals in a separate container.
4 . Make sure shutoff control is in OFF position.
5 . Remove filler cap – leave filter screen in place to prevent sediment
and particles from entering the tank. Fill sprayer to desired level.
6 . Replace filler cap – make sure cap is tight.
7 . Clean spilled material from sprayer before use.
8. Mount sprayer on back and adjust shoulder straps and waist belt to fit comfortably.
High Pressure Chamber Operation
9 . Work pump handle up and down approximately 6-8 times to
pressurize sprayer reservoir. The pump handle will become hard to move when you reach maximum pressure. To maintain pressure, pump handle occasionally (approximately every other step while walking and spraying). If using pressure regulator, adjust to desired pressure at this time.
10. You are ready to start spraying. Press shutoff lever up and down for intermittent spraying. Hold lever up and engage lock to provide continuous spraying. Adjust nozzle for desired spray pattern.
Low Pressure Chamber Operation
11. Pump handle 1~3 times to reach initial operating pressure, then again as needed. The low pressure bladder maintains constant pressure and eliminates the need for a pressure regulator. DO NOT OVERPRESSURIZE THE INTERNAL BLADDER.

PRESSURE CHAMBER REPLACEMENT
W ARNING DANGER

wise, and pulling straight up.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
W ARNING DANGER
This sprayer is operated with liquid under pressure. Failure to observe safety precautions or follow instructions for operating and cleaning can cause tank, hose and other parts to be weakened and or rupture under pressure. This can result in SERIOUS INJURY from high-pressure discharge of liquids or forcible ejection of parts.
1 . NEVER store sprayer with pressure in reservoir.
2 . NEVER store sprayer with liquid in tank, reservoir, hose shutoff
handle or extension. Empty all leftover material into proper container.
3 . NEVER USE HOT WATER FOR CLEANING. Flush out tank with
cool, clean water. A mild detergent or chemical neutralizing solution may be used.
