Be careful while ying indoors as the aircraft stabilization features may experience interference.
Some countries and regions may have special requirements for night ight conditions (such as lighting
requirements). Comply with local regulations when ying at night.
2. Pre-Flight Checklist
Make sure the aircraft batteries, remote controller, goggles battery, and the mobile device are fully charged.
Make sure the Intelligent Flight Battery is securely mounted and connected.
Make sure to remove the gimbal protector before powering on the aircraft.
Make sure the propellers are in good condition. The marked and unmarked propellers must be matched with
the corresponding marked and unmarked motors and securely tightened before each ight.
Make sure there is nothing obstructing the motors.
Make sure the camera lens and sensors are clean and free of stains.
Make sure the goggles are connected to the mobile device and run the DJI Fly app.
Make sure to complete the pre-ight checklist in the goggles interface and DJI Fly.
Make sure DJI Fly and aircraft rmware have been updated to the latest version.
Be familiar with the selected ight mode and understand all safety functions and warnings.
3. Operation
Stay away from the rotating propellers and motors. The motors may generate a high temperature during
ight. To avoid burns, DO NOT touch the motors after landing.
Maintain visual line of sight (VLOS) of the aircraft at all times.
For optimal performance, DO NOT charge the remote controller during use.
DO NOT answer incoming calls, text messages, or perform any action on your mobile device that may distract
you from controlling the aircraft during ight. DO NOT y under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.
DO NOT y close to reective surfaces such as water or snow, as these types of terrain may affect the
performance of the vision systems. When the GPS signal is weak, limit ying the aircraft to environments with
good lighting and visibility.
Land the aircraft in a safe location when there is a low battery or high wind warning.
The aircraft cannot avoid obstacles during Return-to-Home (RTH). Use the remote controller to control the
speed and altitude of the aircraft to avoid collisions during RTH when the remote controller signal is normal.
Pay attention and control the aircraft at all times during ight. It is strongly recommended to have a visual
observer to assist in observing the ight situation. DO NOT rely solely on the vision systems and information
provided by goggles. Environmental conditions such as lighting and the surface texture of obstacles may
impact the performance of the vision systems. Keep the aircraft within VLOS and pay close attention to its
ight. Use sound discretion to operate the aircraft and manually avoid obstacles in a timely manner. It is
important to set an appropriate Failsafe and RTH altitude before each ight.
Only stop the motors if a critical error is detected mid-ight.

Individual Parts
Intelligent Flight Battery
1. DO NOT allow the batteries to come into contact with any kind of liquid. DO NOT leave the batteries out in the rain
or near a source of moisture. DO NOT drop the batteries into water. If the inside of a battery comes into contact with
water, chemical decomposition may occur, potentially resulting in the battery catching on re, and possibly leading
to an explosion.
2. DO NOT use non-DJI approved batteries or chargers. Go to http://www.dji.com to purchase new batteries or
chargers. DJI takes no responsibility for any damage caused by non-DJI batteries or chargers.
3. DO NOT use swollen, leaking, or damaged batteries. If a battery is abnormal, contact DJI or a DJI authorized
dealer for further assistance.
4. The batteries should be used at temperatures between -10° and 40° C (14° and 104° F). Use of batteries in
environments above 50° C (122° F) can lead to re or explosion. Use of batteries below -10° C (14° F) will severely
reduce performance.
5. DO NOT disassemble or pierce a battery in any way or it may leak, catch re, or explode.
6. Electrolytes in batteries are highly corrosive. If any electrolytes make contact with your skin or eyes, immediately
wash the affected area with water and see a doctor immediately.
7. Extinguish any battery re using water, sand, or a dry powder re extinguisher.
8. Keep the batteries out of the reach of children and animals. Seek professional medical support immediately if
children swallow parts of the battery.
9. DO NOT use a battery if it was involved in a crash or heavy impact.
1. Regularly check the battery level indicators to see the current battery level. The battery is rated for 100 cycles. It is
not recommended to continue use after 100 cycles.
2. In order to extend the battery life, the battery will automatically discharge to 60% if not used for ve days or more.
Check the battery level and charge the battery before using it again.
3. Remove batteries when storing the aircraft for an extended period.
4. Disconnect the batteries from the charging device when they are fully charged.
5. Store the batteries in a clean environment to avoid stains or dirt being stuck in the battery buckles.
6. Clean the battery terminals with a clean, dry cloth.

Goggles
1. Consult a doctor before using the goggles if you have any pre-existing serious medical conditions such as a
heart ailment, conditions that affect your ability to safely perform physical activities, psychiatric conditions such as
anxiety disorders or posttraumatic stress disorder, or if you are pregnant or elderly.

2. When using rst-person view, moving images or light may make you feel unwell, dizzy, or lose your sense of
balance. Stop using the goggles and consult a doctor if you experience any motion sickness symptoms or
discomfort. DO NOT use the goggles if you are fatigued, feeling unwell, or under the inuence of intoxicants or
drugs. Take regular breaks from using the goggles to mitigate health risks.

3. The goggles cannot be used to replace any remote control equipment or software to control the aircraft. Use the
remote controller and specied app to control the aircraft.
4. Using the goggles does not satisfy the requirement of visual line of sight (VLOS). Use the goggles under the
premise of complying with local regulations.
5. Pay attention to the distance between yourself and the aircraft and whether there is any obstacle ahead. DJI will
not be liable for lost aircraft or property due to loss of video transmission signal or remote control signal.
6. Keep the goggles in good condition and free of dust. DO NOT place objects on the goggles. Otherwise, the
goggles may be damaged and malfunction.
7. The video downlink of the goggles is affected and limited by aircraft vision acquisition equipment and the
operating environment including electromagnetic interference. DJI makes no guarantee as to the image
information displayed by the goggles and the accuracy of the information. DO NOT solely rely on the image
information provided by the goggles to operate the aircraft.
8. While wearing the goggles, the image displayed in the goggles is not an exact representation of the actual
surrounding environment. Use the goggles in a clear and safe area. Be aware of your actual surroundings
when wearing the goggles to avoid injury. Also, beware of animals, children, other people in the area, and any
nearby objects that may obstruct your movement. Make sure you are a safe distance away from stairs, windows,
balconies, ceiling fans, and heat sources.
9. The goggles can emit radio waves that can affect the operation of nearby electronics. If you have a pacemaker or
other implanted medical devices, DO NOT use the goggles without rst consulting a doctor or the medical device
manufacturer. To minimize radio frequency interference, only use approved DJI accessories or accessories that
do not contain any metal. Use of non-approved DJI accessories may violate your local radio frequency exposure
guidelines.
10. The goggles are not designed to be used by children. DO NOT leave the goggles within the reach of children.
11. DO NOT share the goggles with persons with contagious conditions, infections, or diseases, particularly of the
eyes or skin. The goggles should be cleaned between each use with skin-friendly nonalcoholic antibacterial
wipes and with a dry microber cloth for the lenses.
12. Stop using the goggles if you notice swelling, itchiness, skin irritation, or other discomfort of your skin that is in
contact with the goggles. If symptoms persist, contact a doctor.
13. The goggles are equipped with an audio port. Using headphones at a high volume or for an extended period
may damage your hearing.
14. Keep the lenses away from direct sunlight to avoid screen burns.
1. If the goggles are damaged, take it to a DJI Service Center for inspection and repair.
2. Only use the included goggles battery and power cable to supply power for the goggles. Use of improper
accessories may lead to goggles damage and void the warranty, and may also lead to property damage and
personal injury.
3. The goggles may become hotter than normal if used for an extended period. If the goggles overheats, power off
the device as instructed to avoid injury or goggles damage.
4. DO NOT use or store the goggles in environments with adverse weather conditions or high levels of humidity or
dust.
5. DO NOT use the goggles while in a moving vehicle. DO NOT use the goggles while performing physical exercise.
6. DO NOT attempt to disassemble or modify the goggles. Unauthorized disassembling or modication will void the
goggles warranty.
7. To avoid damaging the goggles power cable, do not jerk, knot, sharply bend, or abuse the cable in any way. DO
NOT expose the cable to sources of heat or liquid. Keep children and animals away from the cable. Wear the
goggles correctly and make sure that the cable does not wrap around your neck.
8. When not using the goggles, keep the product away from heat, liquid, re, and direct sunlight.
9. Detach and store the antennas from the goggles when the goggles are not in use. Make sure to store the
antennas carefully to avoid damage.

Flight Condition Requirements
The aircraft is designed to operate in good to moderate weather conditions. To avoid collision, serious injury, and
property damage, observe the following rules:
1. DO NOT use the aircraft in severe weather conditions. These include wind speeds exceeding 13.8 m/s, snow, rain,
smog, heavy wind, hail, lightning, tornadoes, or hurricanes.
2. DO NOT operate the aircraft when the GPS signal is weak or there is a signicant change in the ground level (such
as when ying an aircraft from a high-rise balcony). Otherwise, the positioning may experience interference and the
ight safety may be affected.
3. DO NOT y the aircraft 6,000 m (19,685 ft) or higher above sea level. DO NOT y the aircraft below -10° C (14° F)
or above 40° C (104° F). Otherwise, the performance of the aircraft propulsion system may be limited, which will
affect ight safety.
4. DO NOT take off from moving objects such as cars, ships, and airplanes. Otherwise, the aircraft may behave
abnormally and cause an accident.
5. Be careful when taking off from a desert or sand beach, as the ight performance may be affected if sand enters
the aircraft. It is recommended to use a drone landing pad when taking off from such places.
1. Fly in open areas. Tall buildings, steel structures, mountains, and trees may affect the accuracy of the on-board
compass and block the GPS signal.
2. Avoid interference between the remote controller and other wireless equipment. Make sure to turn off the Wi-Fi on
your mobile device.
3. DO NOT y near areas with magnetic or radio interference. These include but are not limited to: Wi-Fi hotspots,
routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage lines, large scale power transmission stations, mobile base stations, and
broadcasting towers. Failure to do so may compromise the transmission quality of this product or cause remote
controller and video transmission errors which may affect ight orientation and location accuracy. The aircraft may
behave abnormally or go out of control in areas with too much interference.
Regulations & Flight Restrictions
Regulations
To avoid non-compliant behavior, serious injury, and property damage, observe the following rules:
1. DO NOT operate in the vicinity of manned aircraft, regardless of altitude. Land immediately if necessary.
2. DO NOT y the aircraft in areas where large events are being held, including, but not limited to, sporting events and
concerts.
3. DO NOT y the aircraft in areas prohibited by local laws.
4. DO NOT y the aircraft above the authorized altitude. Remain well clear of and DO NOT interfere with manned
aircraft operations. Be aware of and avoid other aircraft and obstacles at all times.
5. Follow the ight restrictions for safe ight in the allowed ight area according to the laws and regulations of different
regions.

All GEO zones are listed on the DJI ofcial website at http://www.dji.com/ysafe. In compliance with the relevant laws,
policies, and regulations, some GEO zones will not appear on the map on the website. Refer to the DJI Fly app for a
