Safety Instruction

Ensure the power supply is switched off before fitting, servicing
This bulkhead is for outdoor use only
This bulkhead must be mounted on a non-flammable surface
Ensure adequate ventilation is allowed between the bulkhead and any object above, in front or to

either side. Minimum distance: 0.5m above, 0.3m to either side and 1.0m in front.

This bulkhead is of Class l construction and must be earthed
This bulkhead must be installed vertically
This bulkhead must be installed in accordance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring

Regulations.

If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.

Installation Instructions

Release the retaining clips on the side of the diffuser using a small flat screwdriver, and lift the

diffuser away from the body of the bulkhead

Feed the supply cable through the grommet and terminate the supply conductors into the

terminal block ensuring the correct polarity is observed (L = Live (brown), N = Neutral (blue), =
Earth (Green / Yellow).

Secure the body of the bulkhead to the mounting surface via the 2 mounting holes using

appropriate fixings. Ensure to route the supply cable along the channel on the rear of the bulkhead
where required.

Remove any plastic film on the reflector
Insert an appropriate lamp into the lampholder
Return the diffuser back to the bulkhead and secure in place

PIR Control

On the base of the PIR are dials:

Time Control – Turn the dial fully anti-clockwise, the bulkhead will stay on for 5 secs. Turn the dial

fully clockwise, the bulkhead will stay on for 5 mins.

Daylight / Lux Control – Provisionally turn the control fully to the Moon symbol. In this setting the

PIR is inactive during daylight. At dusk, when the light level is at the desired level, adjust the dial
towards the Sun symbol until the bulkhead turns on

Manual Override:

o To override the PIR (light stays on constantly) – When the bulkhead is in use, turn the power

off and back on immediately twice in quick succession (off-on-off-on)

o To return control to the PIR – Turn the power to the bulkhead off for more than 20 seconds

and then back on again
