JANUARY '94 - New package

In the next packages of portable air-conditioners there will be modified pieces of polystyle: the basement and the
four angulars.
We inform you that it will be possible to replace the new polystyle basement on the old package, only if you change
the four angulars too.
There is , anyway, the chance to replace only the new polystyle basement and that is to put between the basement
itself and the angulars, a piece of plastic or wood (i.e. - it is possible to use the castor stoppers of the air­conditioners), to avoid the wood central strands of the old angulars damage the new basement which is completely
made of polystyle.

August '94 - Air conditioner PAC ASR production '93 - '94

We want to inform you that on the above appliance from production 1993 onwards, a new type of electronic delayer
( code 521340 ) has been mounted. The compressor relay is directly mounted on this electronic device.

OCTOBER '94 - Electronic board of PINGUINO model PAC19E

The electronic board, for Pinguino PAC19E manufactured in 1989 with code 521223, is not available anymore. It
is possible to replace it with the electronic board with code 521255, but it is necessary to follow the instruction below.

The operation to be done are the following:

- the three connection for the ventilator speeds [grey(LO) - black (CV) - brown (HI)], for the water pump [Orange (P)]
remain the same for the two boards.

- it is necessary to use the float switch with code 512048

- the light blue wire coming from the terminal block position 2 (see old diagram) must be connected to NEUTRAL (N) of the
new board.

- the blue wire coming from terminal block position 1 (see old diagram) must be connected to LIVE (TH) of the new board.

- the new board must be mounted in order to be well insulated from the appliance frame.

JANUAR '95 - NEW CONTROL BOARD FOR PAC 36 PRODUCED IN 1995

In the mobile air conditioner PAC36, produced in 1995, there has been mounted a different electronic control board
than in 1994. The two boards differ from each other in one of the cable-connectors, which number of connections has
been reduced from four to three. Because of this difference the two boards are not interchangeable. For conditioners
from 1994 with the old board, please order spare part nr. 521436; for conditioners build in 1995, please order spare
part nr. 521444.
You can recognize the year of production by the serial number. Conditioners, which serial number starts with 4, are
build in 1994; those which start with 5, are constructed in 1995.
Please countercheck with figures below, which is the board you have to order.

FEBRUARY '95: PAC 19ECO; PAC 25 AND PAC 25 ECO: NEW ELECTRONIC BOARD FOR FLOAT SWITCH

In the airconditioners Pac 19 Eco, Pac 25 and Pac 25 Eco you might find two diffrent types of electronic boards for the float
switch.
You can easely distinguish the two boards by their size and the different wire connections.One board has two multiple
connectors and some single wires soldered on it, the other has three multiple connectors and no sigle wires on it (see figure
underneath).
The boards are not interchangeable: you have to order the board mounted origionally.
Referens can be made also to the series number.
The conditioners with board code 521289 have a single "A" at the end of the series number.
The conditioners with board code 521573 have an double "AA" at the end of the series number.
You will also find the code number printed on the board itself.

MARCH '95: PAC 26 WITH NEW ELECTRONIC

The portable air conditioner, model PAC 26, produced from March 95 (from Serial nr. 5 09 P 11000 A) onwards, there has
been introduced a different set of electronic boards (thermostat - control- and relay board). As consequence, you could
find in this year of production two different sets of electronic boards.
While the functions of the conditioner have not been changed, the connections on the boards as well as the distribution of
the various electronic components are different and the boards are not interchangeable.
On appliances with the Serial nr. until 5 09 P 11000A you will have to order the electronic boards according the exploded

view of 1993 and the wiring diagrams according to the tecnical documentation nr. 94025, on appliances with serial nr. from
5 09 P 11000A please order according to the exploded view of '95 and follow the wiring diagrams of documentation nr.

95002.

The main differences between new and old boards are shown below, in order that you might easily distinguish one from

SEPTEMBER '95: PAC 36 WITH NEW RELAY BOARD

On the relay board of the air-conditioner model PAC 36 has been changed the position of the compressor connections.
The two wires are now connected to the position 3 and 4 of the 6-pole-connector instead being connected directly onto
the relay as with the old version. Both types of relay board are interchangeable, following the wiring diagram below.

Because of the interchangeability, the code number of the board has remained invaried.

MARCH '96: PAC 19ECO / PAC 25ECO / PAC 26ECO

From 1996 onwards the above mentioned ECO air conditioners will be produced also with SICOM COMPRESSORS (code
no 512914). However appliances with the new SICOM compressor will have a different gas charge (225g instead of 240g)

then those with Aspera compressors.
In contrary to the ASPERA Compressors, which you can use either for FREON as for ECO type air conditioners, you cannot
do this with the SICOM compressors. Only the compressor for the ECO type air conditioners can be used in the FREON
type conditioners, but not vice versa. (SICOM uses syntecic oil in the compressors for the FREON type conditioners which
is not suitable for propan gas.) You can distinguish the SICOM compressors with mineral oil from the ones with syntetic
oil consulting the rating plate of the compressor. (See figure below!)

Which Compressor (ASPERA OR SICOM) originally has been mounted onto the air conditioner you can see easely consulting
the gas charge on the rating plate:
225 g stands for SICOM COMPRESSOR
240 g stands for ASPREA COMPRESSOR.

In case you exchange those two compressor types, take care of the different gas charge.

MARCH '96: PAC 25 ECO / PAC 19 ECO / PAC 25 (MODEL R22)

Since February '96, the above mentioned air conditioner models will be produced with a different electronic float switch
board. As the wire connections on the boards are different, both electronic boards are not interchangeable. You will have

to order the original type of electronic board as well as to use the specific wiring diagram belonging to the electronic board.
While the old board (code no. 521573) has three cable connectors soldered onto it, the new one (code 521604) has one
"normal" connector as well as a line of stamped wiring leads for the new card-edge connector (see figure below).

Appliances with the new board have been signed with the letters "SN" behind the serial number or the type specification.

We inform you that in all the above mentioned Dehumidifier models has been introduced a new electronic antifrost device.
Depending on our supplier you can find either the antifrost board IMIT (code no.521705) or ASTREL (code no. 521631) ­see also figure below. Both boards have the same function and the same temperature of intervention, but they differ in their
wire connection, eg. wire no. 1 on IMIT board becomes wire no. 5 on the ASTREL board. Therefore we recommend you
to use as spare part the board originally mounted in your dehumidifier.
In order to distinguish the boards from please consult the letter combination behind the type specification. If the second
letter is "I" you will have the IMIT board - if the second letter is "A" you will have the ASTREL board. No second letter, that
is "-", means the known MECHANIC ANTIFROST THERMOSTAT.

Eg. TYPE: DH25 "AI" means IMIT antifrost board - TYPE: DH25 "SA" means ASTREL antifrost board.

We inform you that in the above mentioned Dehumidifier model has been introduced a new electronic antifrost device.

We inform you that the identification for the two different compressors (ASPERA and SICOM) used in our dehumidifiers
is not longer valid for 1996.

While the dehumidifiers produced this year, until September, do not have any final letter ("N"; "R" and "Q") on the serial no.
in order to identify the two different compressors there will be introduced a new identification for production variations from
the end of September as explained below.
However the compressor type used in the dehumidifiers can also be recognized by the freon charge stated on the rating
plate.

NOTE: CHARGE (R22) 0.265Kg stands always for the ASPERA COMPRESSOR

We inform you, that from September '96 on all our DEHUMIDIFIERS all the product variations will be stated not anymore
with letters at the end of the serial number but behind the TYPE specification, e.g. TYPE DH25 "SI".
The first letter stands for the compressor type: "A" for ASPERA compressor - "S" for SICOM compressor.
The second letter stands for the antifrost device: "-" for mecanic antifrost thermostat; "A" for ASTREL electronic board;
"I" for IMIT electronic board (*).
This can give you the following combinations:

January '97: Dehumidifier models: DS105 ; DN125; DH25; DH250R; DR155; DN125ECO

We inform you that from the December production '96 of the above mentioned dehumidifier models, the compressor relay
(code 521405) on all appliances produced with the SICOM compressor, has been replaced by a PTC relay with code
no. 521709. Appliances which have this new PTC instead of the compressor relay have been marked with the first letter "T.."

(=SICOM compressor + PTC) after the type specification.
Furthermore, on appliances with SICOM compressor and PTC, which are marked by the first letter "T.." after the TYPE

specification, has been eliminated the start capacitor. Instead of the wires going to the capacitor, you will find a bridge between
the connections 3 and 4 of the PTC. For further informations please consult the corresponding updated technical sheet.

IMPORTANT: The compressor capacitor can only be eliminated and the connections on the PTC bridged on appliances with
SICOM compressor and PTC, never on models which have the ASPERA compressor.

MARCH’97: - ALL WATER COOLED AIR CONDITIONER MODELS (PAC 19 / 25 / 26 / 29 / 30)

In case of possible customer complains about difficulties to open the tap of the water tank, please open the tap with an
appropriate tool, remove the gasket and clean the tap as well as the tank from any possible traces of lubricant before
inserting a new gasket (code n° 531857).

JUNE'97: PAC A2ECO - PAC G2ECO - PAC C21ECO - PAC 19ECO - PAC 25ECO- PAC ASR / G / L - PAC 35

In all above mentioned air conditioners has been introduced a new time delay / time delay plus antifrost probe. Because
of normative reasons, you must not replace new boards with older ones you might still have in stock, but you have to use
the new boards. On all old appliances the new board can replace the old ones.

We inform you that the above mentioned air conditioners are being produced from serial number 6 46 04 P... with a new
Matsushiata compressor, so that you can find from now on two different compressors in this air conditioner models:
a) Sanyo 806.967.45 spare part no.512202 (known from previous productions)
b) Matsushita 2P20C8R235A-SA with spare part no. 512928

Both compressors are not interchangeable.
Which compressor has been mounted into your air conditioner you can find out consulting the gas charge declare on
the rating plate.
NOTE: CHARGE (R22) 0.580Kg stands always for the SANYO COMPRESSOR

Furthermore the compressor type used in the appliance will be declared with the first letter on the aluminium label behind
the type specification:

JUNE '97: PAC 25ECO - PAC 29ECO: NEW FLOAT SWITCH BOARD

We inform you, that during the production '97 there has been introduced a new float-switch-board on both above mentione
air conditioners. As the new board is fitted with a specical protected relay, you can replace the old boards with the new ones,
but do never replace the new board with the old type ones.
The new board has spare part number 521793 and replaces the old board with spare part number 521604.

You find the board in appliances from serial number 7 14 05 P... onwards.

Furthermore, appliances with the new board are signed with the second letter "..D" on the aluminum lable behind the type
specification on the rating plate.

The new board can also be used as alternative to replace board 521604 on appliances PAC25 and PAC29 which use freon
as refrigerant.

We inform you, that in the PAC 26ECO has been introduced with the '97 production a complete new set of electronic boards
which are not interchangeable with the old ones.

IMPORTANT:

While until the production of '97 you could find either the E.B.M. or the OLMO Condenser ventilator, and exchanging the
start capacitor you could interchange these two motor types, with the new electronic of '97 marked with 2nd letter "C"
behind the type secification, it is only possible to use the E.B.M. condenser ventilator, as the start capacitor is already
incorporated in the power board with code 521731!

JUNE '97: - NEW ELECTRONIC ON PAC 36

We inform you, that in the PAC 36 has been introduced with the '97 production a complete new set of electronic boards which

are not interchangeable with the old ones.

If you have to exchange a board, please consult the following table for the spare part number as well as technical sheet
number for the electrical diagram and verify the board with the following figures.

PORTABLE AIR-CONDITIONERS

AUGUST ’97: PAC GSR/HPM - PAC GSR/HPE

We inform you that the above mentioned air conditioners are being produced from serial number 6 50 04 P... with a new
SANYO compressor, so that you can find from now on two different compressors in this air conditioner models:
a) SANYO 806.835.45 spare part no.512216 (known from previous productions)
b) SANYO 806.967.45 28 with spare part no. 512202 (used also in GSR/M and GSR/E model)

Both compressors are not interchangeable.
Which compressor has been mounted into your air conditioner you can find out consulting the gas charge declare on
the rating plate.
NOTE: CHARGE (R22) 0.600Kg stands always for the SANYO 806.835.45 COMPRESSOR

CHARGE (R22) 0.540Kg stands always for the SANYO 806.967.45 28 COMPRESSOR

Together with the new compressor has also changed the for-way- valve-group. You can recognise the new for way valve
by the missing liquid separator (bottle). This new for-way-valve with code n° 738459 can only be used with the new
compressor SANYO 806.967.45 28 and is not interchangeable with the old one with code n° 735530.

OCTOBER ’97: RESET OF “DIRTY FILTER” SIGNAL (YELLOW LED FLASHING) ON PAC 180 AND NEW SERIES
OF WALL MOUNTED AIR CONDITIONERS.

In order to turn off the flashing yellow LED, which indicates dirty filters, press the "forced function switch" on the command
board of the indoor unit for ca. 6 seconds. You will hear a double beep (beep - beep) and the LED turns off. This operation
has to be done with the appliance functioning.

NOVEMBER ’97: ALL DEHUMIDIFIER MODELS

We inform that in all dehumidifier models can be used a new antifrost board IMIT with code nr. 5248000100 for the DN400
only and code nr 5248000200 for all other models. This new board is perfectly interchangeable with the ASTREL board
with code 521701 for the DN400 and ASTREL board 521631 for all other models, but not with the IMIT boards, as the sequence
of the wires in the connector is different.

Dehumidifiers which mount the new boards are signed with the second letter “..A” behind the type specification.
