Beforepluggingtheapplianceintothemainssocket,check

that:

Theoutlet'spowersupplycorrespondstothevalue
indicatedontheratinglabelonthebackoftheappliance;

Theoutletandelectricalcircuitareadequateforthe
appliance;

Theoutletisa3-holegroundedoutlet_,:i_.Ifthisisnot
thecase,youmustchooseanotheroutlet.

EaBuretofollowtheseimportantsafetyinstructions
absolvesthemanufacturerofallBabBity.

The power cable must be replaced by a quaBfied
professional only.
The instructionsbelow will enableyou to prepareyourair
conditionerfor operationasefficiently as possible.Before

use, make sure the air intake and outlet grilles are
unobstructed.

Preparin 9 for use

Openthewindow.

Placethewindowbracket15 in thewindow,extendingit

tofit thewidth ofthe window(fig.C).

Placethe air conditionernearthe window. Insert the

assembledexhausthose12 intothewindowbrackethole

Makesuretheairexhausthoseisunobstructed.

Ifyouhaveavery largewindow, in orderto cover your

window aperture, usethe additional windowbracket
without holesextending it to the desireddimension,
then fix the bracketby usingthe lockingpinprovided.
Whenextractingthe windowbracketandjoiningthetwo

piecespayattentionyoudonot coverthe hole.

Screwthe hoseadaptor13tothehose'send12.
Fitthe airexhausthosein the housingatthebackofthe

appliance.Insertitas showninfigureA.

Screwthe window outlet 17 to the other end of the
exhausthose.(seefig. B).

Other set-up methods:

Thanksto the lockingpin,it'spossibleto usethewindow

bracketalsofor slidingwindows.Positionthe holeof the
bracketso toallow a correctinstallationof theexhaust

hose(seefigureI)).

Keepthe air hosesas shortandfreeof curvesas possibleto
avoidconstrictions.
