Safety instructions

Place the monitor on a solid surface and handle it carefully. The screen is fragile and can be damaged if dropped or hit sharply.

Always be sure that your monitor is electrically rated to operate with the AC power available in your location.

Keep the monitor in room temperature. Excessive cold or hot conditions can have an adverse effect on the liquid crystal of the display.

Do not subject the monitor to severe vibration or high impact conditions. For example, do not place the monitor inside a car trunk.

Unplug the monitor when it is going to be left unused for an extended period of time.

To avoid electric shock, do not attempt to remove any cover or touch the inside of the monitor.

The Dell S2721HGF monitor has an active matrix, Thin-Film Transistor (TFT), Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), and LED backlight. The monitor features include:

68.47 cm (27 in.) viewable area (Measured diagonally) 1920 x 1080 (16:9) resolution, plus full-screen support for lower resolutions.

Color gamut of 72% NTSC, CIE 1931, and 83% NTSC, CIE 1976.

Digital connectivity with DisplayPort and HDMI.

Tilt and height adjustment capabilities.

Removable pedestal stand and Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA™) 100 mm mounting holes for flexible mounting solutions.

Plug and play capability if supported by your computer.

On-Screen Display (OSD) adjustments for ease of set-up and screen optimization.

Game enhanced features such as Timer, Frame Rate Counter and Dark Stabilizer in addition to enhanced game modes such as FPS, MOBA/RTS, SPORTS, or RPG , and 3 additional game modes to personalize your preferences.

WARNING: The possible long-term effects of blue light emission from the monitor may cause damage to the eyes, including eye fatigue, digital eye strain, and so on. ComfortView feature is designed to reduce the amount of blue light emitted from the monitor to optimize eye comfort.

Power management modes

If you have VESA’s DPM-compliant video card or software installed in your PC, the monitor can automatically reduce its power consumption when not in use. This is referred to as power save mode*. If the computer detects input from the keyboard, mouse, or other input devices, the monitor automatically resumes functioning. The following table shows the power consumption and signaling of this automatic power saving feature.

If there is no display, press the monitor button again to select the correct input source.
