The Dell PowerEdge C6105 system supports the complete feature set of AMD
Opteron 4300 series processors.
The AMD Opteron 4300 series processor sockets are compatible with the existing
AMD Opteron series processors. Before installing the AMD Opteron 4300 series
processors on your system, download the BIOS version 2.2.0 from
dell.com/support and follow the instructions included in the compressed
download file to install the update on your system.
Enhanced System Features With AMD Opteron 4300 Series Processors
• Increase in performance as compared to AMD Opteron 4200 series processors.
• Support up to two DDR3 memory channels that support RDIMMs,
UDIMMs, LVRDIMMs, and LVUDIMMs (1.35 V).
• A maximum memory bus operating frequency of 1333 MT/s.
