Using Westtek® ClearVue™ with your Dell™ Axim™ X50v
This document helps you use the Westtek ClearVue Suite on your Axim X50v. Before installing the ClearVue Suite, you must establish an ActiveSync connection with your host PC. Use the host USB cable and the ActiveSync software that came with your Axim to complete this step.

Installing Westtek ClearVue

Once you have established an ActiveSync Guest or Partnership connection with your Axim:

Insert the on your host PC.

The ClearVue Suite installation wizard should launch automatically. If not, explore the CD using the Windows Explorer and double-click

CD into the CD or DVD drive

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

When prompted for a product serial number, enter the serial number on the CD sleeve.
When installation is complete, the ClearVue software icon will be displayed in the Programs folder on your Axim.

Installing the VGA Cable

Before using external video, make sure that the VGA cable is attached to your Axim. Options for using the Presentation Pack are available under the External Video menu option within ClearVue.
For more information on external video options, access the ClearVue online help by selecting StartHelp from the ClearVue application.

Enabling Mirror Mode with Windows Media Player

To play video with Windows Media Player 10 on both the PDA screen and an external monitor, enable Mirror Mode before playing the movie.
To enable Mirror Mode, check the option in
Start Settings →System Mirror Mode.
If you have started the movie before enabling Mirror Mode, stop the movie by clicking Menu Stop and then restart the movie.
