Getting Started Guide
Overview
Front View Features
1
Volume buttons
Press to increase or decrease the volume level.

Back button
Press once to view the previous screen.
3 Navigation disc
Press the disc in the appropriate direction to navigate through menus.
4 OK button
Press to make a selection.
5 Home button
Press to view the Home screen.
6 Camera button
Press to activate the camera and capture photos or videos.
7 Touch screen
Displays information and enables you to make selections.
8 Front camera
Used for making video calls. The front camera is of a lower resolution than the rear camera.
Back View Features
1 Power button
Press to lock/unlock the screen.
Press and hold to turn on/off the phone.
2 Rear camera
Captures photos and videos.
Used for making selections by tapping the screen and conveniently writing on the screen. To use the stylus, pull the stylus out from its slot.
4 3.5 mm headset connector
Connects to the headset for hands-free communication. Also connects to compatible headphones.

Mini-USB connector
Used for charging the phone and for data transfer.
Setting Up Your Mini 3T1
1. Remove the back cover
2. Install the SIM card
Press and slide the back cover towards the top of the phone and lift it up.
Slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot. Ensure that the SIM card’s metal contacts are facing down and the beveled corner on the SIM card is facing the top of the phone.
3. Install the microSD card
Push the microSD card retainer towards the top of the phone and lift it up.
Place the microSD card in the microSD card slot and press the microSD card retainer down until it locks into place.
4. Install the battery
5. Replace the back cover
Align the battery’s metal contacts with the connectors in the battery compartment and press the battery down until it locks into place.
Align the tabs at the bottom of the back cover with the slots located along the edge of the phone.
Press and slide the back cover towards the bottom of the phone until it locks into place.
6. Turn on the phone
Press and hold the power button to turn on the phone.
Main Menu
The Main Menu displays the applications available on your phone.
To view the Main Menu, press the Home button once.
To launch an application, tap the icon.
To switch between the Home screen and Main Menu, press the Home button.

Making Calls
To make a call using the dialer:
Tap anywhere on the 1. Home screen to launch the dialer.
Tap the dial pad to enter 2. the number you want to call.
Tap 3. Voice call
or Video call based on your preference.
To call a contact in your phone book:
Tap Phone Book on the dialer and tap the contact you want to dial.
Messaging
To launch messaging, tap Menu and then Messages from the Home screen.
To create a new message:
Tap 1. Create SMS to create a text message or tap Create MMS to create a multimedia message.
Enter the message and the recipient’s number or select 2. a contact from the phone book.
You can also insert images, videos, or captured photos and sounds in your multimedia messages.
NOTE: To view the messages stored on the phone, tap the appropriate folder.
Browser
To launch the web browser, tap Menu and then Internet from the Home screen.
Creating Bookmarks
To create bookmarks to your favorite web pages:
Tap 1. Options and then tap Bookmarks.
Tap 2. Add current page as bookmark.
Search
To search for content on your phone:
Tap the Search icon 1. on the Home screen.
Enter the search criteria 2. in the Please input the key word box.
Tap 3. OK to start your search.
You can search within the call history, phone book, favorites, and messages.
Multimedia
To browse and play multimedia content on your phone:
Tap 1. Menu on the Home screen, and then tap Multimedia.
Tap 2. Music player to play audio files or tap Video player to play video files.
NOTE: The Music player allows you to view files by artist name, album name, and the complete music list.
NOTE: You can also access other functions of the phone while playing music. To go back to the music player, tap Menu on the Home screen, tap
Multimedia, and then tap Music player.
Camera
To launch the camera:
Press the camera button or•
Tap • Menu on the Home screen, tap Multimedia, and then tap Camera.
To capture a picture, press the camera button.
You can save or transfer your pictures using the Option menu.
To launch the video application, press the camera button and tap the camera icon on the screen until the Video icon
appears.
To start recording a video, press the camera button. To stop recording the video, press the camera button again.
To switch between the front and the rear camera, tap the setup icon and then tap Change Camera.
