WARNING

The distance between the hob and the
lower part of the hood must be at least 65
cm.
The air collected must not be conveyed
into a duct used to blow off smokes from
appliances fed with an energy other than
electricity (central heating systems, thermosiphons, water-heaters, etc.).
Comply with the official instructions provided
by the competent authorities in merit when
installing the disposal duct. In addition,
exhaust air should not be discharged into
a wall cavity, unless the cavity is designed
for that purpose.
The room must be well aerated in case a
hood and some other heat equipment fed
with an energy other than electricity (gas,
oil, coal heaters, etc) operate at the same
time. In fact the intake hood, disposing of
air, could create a vacuum in the room.
The vacuum should not exceed 0,04mbar.
This prevents the gas exhausted by the
heat source from being intaken again. It is
therefore advisable to ensure the room
contains air taps able to ensure a steady
flow of fresh air.
ATTENTION: This appliance must be
grounded.
The following warning is valid in the United
Kingdom only:
As the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this appliance may not correspond
with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
– the wire which is coloured green and
yellow must be connected to the terminal
in the plug which is marked with the letter
E or by the earth symbol [ ], or coloured
green or green and yellow;
– the wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black;
– the wire which is coloured brown must
be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.
When making the electrical connections,
check that the current socket has a ground
connection and that the voltage values
correspond to those indicated on the data
plate inside the appliance itself.
In case your appliance is not furnished with
a non separating flexible cable and has no
plug, or has not got any other device ensuring omnipolar disconnection from the electricity main, with a contact opening distance
of at least 3 mm, such separating device
ensuring disconnection from the main must
be included in the fixed installation. If your
unit features a power lead and plug, position
this so the plug is accessible.
Always switch off the electricity supply before carrying out any cleaning or servicing
operations on the appliance.
USE
--------------------------------------------------------
Avoid using materials which could cause
spurts of flame (flambées) near the appliance.
When frying, take particular care to prevent
oil and grease from catching fire. Already
used oil is especially dangerous in this respect. Do not use uncovered electric grates.
To avoid possible risks of fire always comply
with the indicated instructions when cleaning
anti-grease filters and when removing
grease deposits from the appliance.
MAINTENANCE
--------------------------------------------------------
Thorough servicing guarantees correct and
long-lasting operation.
Pay special attention to the grease filters.
The grease filters must be cleaned
approximately once every 30 hours of
operation (when the central segment on
the display goes on or starts blinking). To
remove the filters: press inward on the
clamps at the handles and pull the filter
downward (Fig. 4). Wash out the filter by
hand or in the dishwasher using a neutral
soap. Once the cleaned filters are
reinstalled, keep button R (Reset) pressed
for two seconds to reset the counter. For
further information, see the Commands in
the paragraph entitled "Operation".
Any fat deposits should be removed from
the appliance periodically depending on
amount of use (at least every 2 months).
Avoid using abrasive or corrosive products.
To clean painted appliances on the outside,
use a cloth dipped in lukewarm water and
neutral detergent. To clean steel, copper
or brass appliances on the outside, it is
always best to use specific products,
following the instructions on the products
themselves. To clean the inside of the
appliance, use a cloth (or brush) dipped in
denatured ethyl alcohol.
DESCRIPTION
--------------------------------------------------------
This apparatus includes a hood, a hanging
telescopic structure and a telescopic flue that
must be set on top of the hood to cover the air
evacuation pipe.
The appliance can be a filtering version one, a
ducting version one or with an external motor.
In the Filtering version the air and the kitchen
fumes that are conveyed by the apparatus are
depurated by the charcoal filter and put back into
the room through the small grilles of the ventilation
flue (Fig. 1). ATTENTION: When using the filtering
version, a charcoal filter and an air baffle (Fig. 1A)
must be used, which placed at the top of the
structure, allows the air to recycle back into the
room.
In the Ducting version, cooking vapours and
odours are conveyed straight outside by a
disposal duct which passes through the ceiling
(Fig. 2).
In the version with an External motor (Fig.3),
the appliance must be connected to an ducting
apparatus/motor which works on its own using
the appliance as a union for the air to be
scavenged. Use only motors proposed in the
original catalogue.
In the Ducting version and in the version with an
External motor, to get optimal conditions the air
venting pipe should:
– be as short as possible.
– have the lowest number of bends (max ben-
de angle: 90°).
– be made of material approved by local
authorities (according to the State).
– have its inner side as regular and smooth as
possible.
It is moreover recommended to avoid drastic
changes of pipe cross section (recommended
diameter: 150 mm).
INSTALLATION
--------------------------------------------------------
ATTENTION: Two persons are required for
proper installation; the unit should be
installed by a qualified operator.
Also follow carefully each step of the
assembly instructions, and once installation
has been completed, make sure that the
hood is firmly secured in place.
To facilitate installation, before starting remove
the anti-grease filters: press inward on the
clamp at the handle and pull the filter downward
(Fig. 4).
For assembling it is essential to:
– prepare the connection to the mains within
the telescopic structure.
– prepare the air venting hole if your appliance
is to be installed in the ducting version or in
the version with an external motor.
ASSEMBLING
Using the special drilling template, drill the
holes for fixing to the ceiling on the vertical side
of your hob. Carefully observe all the indications
for final positioning of the apparatus. Take into
account that one of the template axes must
correspond to the axis of the hood controls.
Fix the bracket to the ceiling using the screws
and screw anchors provided (Fig. 5). Be careful,
because the position of the bracket determines
the final position of the apparatus: the side with
the slot B corresponds to the control side.
Ducting version and version with an external
motor:
Fix the telescopic structure to the bracket
using 4 screws (provided), running the air evacuation pipe and the electric power cable through
the structure (Fig. 6).
Adjust the height of the telescopic structure
by means of the four retaining screws C (Fig. 7),
taking into account that the height of the hood is
130 mm and that the distance between the hood
and the hob must be at least 650 mm (Fig. 8).
Take the telescopic flue and with some adhesive tape fix the lower pipe to the upper pipe.
Check that the slots of the upper pipe are in the
lower part (Fig. 9); if not, turn around the upper
pipe. Fit the telescopic flue on the telescopic
structure and fix it to the bracket with two screws
(provided) – Fig. 10.
Fit the hood to the telescopic structure by
means of 6 screws (provided) – Fig. 11.
Through the openings D (Fig. 11) fix the air
evacuation pipe to the air outlet mouth of the
hood.
Concerning the version with external motor
only (Fig. 12): make the electrical connection
between the hood and the external motor by
means of the proper terminal board: take off the
cable clamp A and the cover B of the wiring
junction box; fix the connection cable of the motor
onto the terminal board C; reassemble the cable
clamp A and the cover B of the junction box; the
other end of the cable must be fixed onto the
terminal board of the external motor.
Make the electrical connection by means of
the power cable.
Remove the adhesive tape and pull the lower
pipe downwards, placing it gently onto the apparatus.
Installation is now complete and the antigrease filters can be remounted.
Filtering version:
Fix the telescopic structure to the bracket
using 4 screws (provided), running the electric
power cable through the structure (Fig. 6).
Adjust the height of the telescopic structure
by means of the four retaining screws C (Fig. 7),
taking into account that the height of the hood is
130 mm and that the distance between the hood
and the hob must be at least 650 mm (Fig. 8).
Insert the air baffle in the structure (Fig.13).
Through the openings E (Fig. 13), fit the
flange to the baffle locking it with a turning
movement. Fix a flexible pipe to the flange for air
evacuation (Fig. 14).
Take the telescopic flue and with some
adhesive tape fix the lower pipe to the upper pipe.
Check that the slots of the upper pipe are in the
upper part (Fig. 15); if not, turn around the upper
pipe. Fit the telescopic flue on the telescopic
structure and fix it to the bracket with two screws
(provided) – Fig. 10.
Fit the hood to the telescopic structure by
means of 6 screws (provided) – Fig. 11.
Through the openings D, mount the flange
(provided) on the air outlet mouth of the hood
(Fig. 16). Then fit the air evacuation pipe to the
flange.
Make the electrical connection by means of
the power cable.
Remove the adhesive tape and pull the lower
pipe downwards, placing it gently onto the
apparatus.
Install the charcoal filters clipping the 2 filter
clips into place (Fig. 17) and turn the filter upwards.
Installation is now complete and the antigrease filters can be remounted.
OPERATION
--------------------------------------------------------
Commands (Fig. 18):
Button A = turns the lights on/off
Button B = turns the TIMER on/off: press
once to turn the timer on, therefore, after 5
minutes, the motor cuts out (at the same
time the selected speed blinks on the
display); the timer remains on if the motor
speed is changed.
Display C =
- indicates the selected motor speed (from
1 to 4).
- indicates Timer On when the number
blinks.
- indicates Filter Alarm when the central
segments is on or blinking.
Button D = makes the motor work (at the last
speed selected). Pushing the button again,
the speeds of the motor are sequentially
selected from 1 to 4. Keeping this button
pressed for about 2 seconds shuts down
the motor.
Button R = resets the grease filters or carbon
filters. When the filter alarm appears
(i.e. when the central segment on the display
goes on), the grease filters must be cleaned
(30 hours of operation). When the central
segment starts blinking, the grease filters
must be cleaned and the carbon filters
replaced (120 hours of operation).
Obviously, if the hood is not a filtering model
and does not have a carbon filter, clean the
grease filters both when the central segment
goes on and when it starts blinking. The
filter alarm can be seen when the motor is
off and for about 30 seconds.
To reset the hour counter, keep the button
pressed for 2 seconds while the alarm can
be seen.
Replacing the carbon filters
If the unit is a filtering hood, the charcoal filters
must be replaced: to remove them press inward
on the clamp (Fig. 17) and rotate the filter
downward until the 2 tabs can be removed from
the housing. The charcoal filters must be replaced
whenever the central segment of the display
starts blinking (i.e. every 120 hours of operation).
Lighting:
To remove the halogen lamps, turn the locknut
counter-clockwise (Fig. 19). Replace with the
same type of lamp.

Das Gerät ist so zu montieren, daß der
Abstand zwischen den Kochplatten und
dem unteren Rand der Dunstabzugshaube
mindestens 65 cm beträgt.
Ein Anschluss der Abluftleitungen an
Verbrennungsabgaskamine (zum Beispiel
Zentralheizung, Heizgeräte, Badezimmer-
öfen usw.) ist nicht gestattet.
In jedem Fall sind bei der Ableitung der
Abluft die behördlichen Vorschriften zu
beachten. Desweiteren darf die Abluft nur
dann durch ein Loch in der Wand geleitet
werden, wenn dieses für diesen Zweck
bestimmt ist.
Achtung! Bei gleichzeitigem Betrieb einer
Abluft-Dunstabzugshaube und einer ra-
umluftabhängigen Feuerstätte (wie z. B.
gas-, öl- oder kohlebetriebene Heizgeräte,
Durchlauferhitzer, Warmwasserbereiter) ist
Vorsicht geboten, da beim Absaugen der
Luft durch die Dunstabzugshaube dem
Aufstellraum die Luft entnommen wird, die
die Feuerstätte zur Verbrennung benötigt.
Ein gefahrloser Betrieb ist möglich, wenn
bei gleichzeitigem Betrieb von Haube und
raumluftabhängiger Feuerstätte im Aufstell-
raum der Feuerstätte ein Unterdruck von
höchstens 0,04 mbar erreicht wird und
damit ein Rücksaugen der Feuerstätten-
abgase vermieden wird. Daher den Raum
mit Lüftungsanschlüssen versehen, die
einen konstanten Zustrom von Frischluft
gewährleisten.
ACHTUNG: dieses Gerät muss geerdet
werden.
Beim elektrischen Anschluss sicherstellen,
dass die Steckdose eine Erdung aufweist.
Beim elektrischen Anschluss muss überprüft
werden, ob die Spannungswerte des
Stromnetzes mit den Werten auf dem im
Innern des Gerätes angebrachten Typens-
childs übereinstimmen. Falls Ihr Gerät nicht
mit einem fest angeschlossenem Kabel mit
Stecker oder einer sonstigen Vorrichtung,
die eine allpolige Unterbrechung mit einer
Kontaktöffnung von mindestens 3 mm
versehen ist, so müssen die entsprechenden Trennvorrichtungen bei der festen
Installation vorgesehen werden. Das Gerät
so aufstellen, dass der Stecker zugänglich
ist, falls Ihr Gerät mit einem Netzkabel mit
Stecker ausgestattet ist.
Vor jeder Reinigungs- oder Wartungsarbeit
muss das Gerät vom Stromnetz getrennt
werden.
GEBRAUCH
--------------------------------------------------------
In der unmittelbaren Nähe des Geräts die
Benutzung von flammenerzeugenden
Materialien (Flambieren) vermeiden.
Beim Frittieren besonders auf die Brandgefahr achten, die durch Öl und Fette
verursacht wird. Besonders gefährlich ist
die Entflammbarkeit von bereits benutztem
Öl. Keine offenen Elektrogrills verwenden.
Zur Vermeidung einer möglichen Brandgefahr die Anweisungen zur Reinigung der
Fettfilter und zur Entfernung eventueller
Fettablagerungen auf dem Gerät beachten.
WARTUNG
--------------------------------------------------------
Nur eine sorgfältige Pflege garantiert auf
Dauer eine gute Leistung und Funktion
des Geräts.
Mit besonderer Sorgfalt sind die
Antifettfilter zu behandeln. Die Antifettfilter
sind jeweils nach etwa 30 Betriebsstunden
zu reinigen (wenn das mittlere Segment
auf dem Display ununterbrochen aufleuchtet
oder blinkt). Entfernung der Filter: Den
Festhalter in der Nähe des Griffs nach
innen drücken und den Filter nach unten
ziehen (Abb. 4). Die Filter mit einem
neutralen Reiniger manuell oder in der
Geschirrspülmaschine reinigen. Nach
Wiedereinsetzen der gereinigten Filter 2
Sekunden lang die Taste R (Reset)
drücken, damit die Zählung neu beginnt.
Weitere Informationen erhalten Sie unter
dem Stichwort "Befehle" im Abschnitt
"Funktionsweise".
Die Entfernung eventueller
Fettablagerungen vom Gerät erfolgt in
regelmäßigen Abständen in Abhängigkeit
von der Benutzung (zumindest alle zwei
Monate). Die Verwendung von
scheuernden oder korrosiven Produkten
vermeiden. Für die äußere Reinigung von
lackierten Geräten ein mit lauwarmen
Wasser und Neutralreiniger angefeuchtetes
Tuch verwenden; für die äußere Reinigung
der Geräte aus Stahl, Kupfer und Messing
wird die Verwendung von Spezialprodukten
empfohlen, wobei die auf dem Produkte
angegebenen Anweisungen zu beachten
sind; für die innere Reinigung der Geräte
einen in denaturalisierten Äthylalkohol
eingetauchten Lappen (oder Pinsel)
verwenden.
GERÄTEAUSFÜHRUNG
--------------------------------------------------------
Dieses Gerät besteht aus einer Haube, einer
zusammenschiebbaren Innenträger und einem
zusammenschiebbaren Zierrohr, welches als
Überzug des Abluftrohres über dem
Haubenoberteil anzubringen ist.
Das Gerät wird in einer Ausführung geliefert,
die einen Einsatz sowohl im Umluftbetrieb als
auch im Abluftbetrieb zuläßt.
Bei Umluftbetrieb werden die durch das
Gerät beförderten Dünste und die Abluft durch
die Kohlefilter gereinigt und durch die
Lüftungsgitterchen des Rohres wieder in den
Raum zurückgeführt (Abb. 1). ZU BEACHTEN:
Bei der Benutzung der Filterversion müssen
ein Kohlefilter sowie ein Luftleitblech verwendet
werden (Abb. 1A) das, am oberen Teil der
Haube angebracht, die Wiedereinleitung der
Luft in den Raum gestattet.
Im Abluftbetrieb wird der Kochdunst durch
Abluftrohre ins Freie geleitet (Abb. 2).
Das Gerät kann auch in Verbindung mit einem
externen Motor im Abluftbetrieb eingesetzt
werden (Abb. 3). Bitte verwenden Sie nun
externe Motore, die vom gleichen Hersteller
stammen wie das Gerät.
Um die bestmöglichsten Vorbedingungen zu
erreichen, ist es zu empfehlen, bei
Abluftversionen und mit Aussenmotor
Abluftrohre mit folgenden Eigenschaften zu
verwenden:
– möglichst kurzgehaltene Länge und
– die geringste Anzahl von Kurven
(Maximalwinkel der Kurve= 90 Grad).
– es müssen normengerechte (je nach
Staat) Materialien verwendet werden.
– Innenseite möglichst glatt.
Ausserdem ist es ratsam, drastische
Veränderungen des Rohrquerschmittes zu
vermeiden (empfohlener Durchmesser: 150
mm).
MONTAGE DES GERÄTS
--------------------------------------------------------
ACHTUNG: Für die Montage sind
wenigstens 2 Personen erforderlich. Es
wird empfohlen, die Montage von
Fachkräften durchführen zu lassen.
Wir empfehlen, jeden Arbeitsgang der
Installation zu verfolgen und sich bei deren
Beendigung zu versichern, dass der
Apparat absolut tadellos befestigt ist.
Vor den Montageoperationen muß/müssen zur
leichteren Handhabung des Geräts der
Antifettfilter entfernt werden: Den Festhalter
in der Nähe des Griffs nach innen drücken
und den Filter nach unten ziehen (Abb. 4).
Wichtige Vorbedingungen für das Montieren:
– Die elektrische Zuführung im Raumbedarf
des Zierrohres vorbereiten.
– Soll das Gerät im Abluftbetrieb oder in
Verbindung mit einem externen Motor
installiert werden, so hat ein Abluftloch
vorbereitet zu werden.
MONTIEREN
Unter Verwendung der entsprechenden
Maske die Löcher für die Befestigung an der
Decke vertikal über Ihrem Kochfeld ausführen
und dabei alle Anweisungen für die
Positionierung des Geräts beachten.
Berücksichtigen, dass eine der Achsen der
Maske der Achse der Bedienungselemente
der Haube entsprechen muss.
Den Bügel mit den mitgelieferten
Schrauben und Dübeln an der Decke
befestigen (Abb. 5); dabei mit Sorgfalt
vorgehen, denn die Position des Bügels
bestimmt die definitive Position des Geräts:
Die Seite mit der Öse B entspricht der Seite
mit den Bedienungselementen.
Abluftbetrieb sowohl mit Motor wie auch für
externen Motor:
Die Teleskopkonstruktion mit 4
(mitgelieferten) Schrauben am Bügel anbringen
und das Abluftrohr sowie die elektrische
Speisung ins Innere der Konstruktion führen
(Abb. 6).
Die Höhe der Teleskopkonstruktion mit
den vier Befestigungsschrauben C (Abb. 7)
einstellen und dabei berücksichtigen, dass die
Höhe der Haube 130 mm beträgt und dass
der Abstand der Haube vom Kochfeld
zumindest 650 mm betragen muss (Abb. 8).
Das Teleskoprohr packen und das untere
Rohr mit Klebeband am oberen blockieren;
überprüfen, ob die Ösen des oberen Rohres
sich im unteren Teil befinden (Abb. 9);
anderenfalls das obere Rohr umdrehen. An
diesem Punkt das Teleskoprohr in die
Teleskopkonstruktion einführen und mit zwei
(mitgelieferten) Schrauben am Bügel
befestigen - Abb. 10.
Die Haube mit 6 (mitgelieferten) Schrauben
an der Teleskopkonstruktion befestigen Abb.11.
Das Abluftrohr mit den Öffnung D (Abb.11)
am Luftauslassstutzen der Haube anbringen.
Bei Abluftbetrieb an einen externen Motor
(Abb. 12): Die Verbindung zwischen dem Gerät
und dem externen Motor ist mit einem Kabel
herzustelle, das mit dem Motor geliefert wird;
Das Kabel ist im entsprechenden
Anschlußgehäuse des Geräts anzuklemmen.
Das Anschlußgehäuse befindet sich neben
dem Abluftstutzen des Gerätes und ist mit
dem Hinweisschild "Externer Motor"
gekennzeichnet; Zum Anschluß des Kabels
öffnet man den Deckel des Anschlußgehäuses
(Abb. 12A + B), schließt das Kabel an den
hierfür vorgesehenen Klemmen (Abb. 12C) an
und schließt den Deckel wieder; Zum Öffnen
und Schließen des Deckels löst bzw. schließt
man die Deckelverschraubung.
Den elektrischen Anschluss mit dem
Netzkabel vornehmen.
Das Klebeband entfernen, das untere Rohr
nach unten absenken und es vorsichtig auf
das Gerät aufsetzen.
Nun ist die Montage abgeschlossen und
die Fettfilter können wieder eingesetzt werden.
Umluftbetrieb:
Die Teleskopkonstruktion mit 4
(mitgelieferten) Schrauben am Bügel anbringen
und das Abluftrohr sowie die elektrische
Speisung ins Innere der Konstruktion führen
(Abb. 6).
Die Höhe der Teleskopkonstruktion mit
den vier Befestigungsschrauben C (Abb. 7)
einstellen und dabei berücksichtigen, dass die
Höhe der Haube 130 mm beträgt und dass
der Abstand der Haube vom Kochfeld
zumindest 650 mm betragen muss (Abb. 8).
Das Luftleitblech in die Konstruktion
einführen (Abb. 13).
Durch die Öffnungen E (Abb. 13) den
Flansch am Luftleitblech anbringen und durch
eine Drehbewegung blockieren. Am Flansch
einen Schlauch für die Ableitung der Luft
anbringen (Abb. 14).
Das Teleskoprohr packen und das untere
Rohr mit Klebeband am oberen blockieren;
überprüfen, ob die Ösen des oberen Rohres
sich im oberen Teil befinden (Abb. 15);
anderenfalls das obere Rohr umdrehen. An
diesem Punkt das Teleskoprohr in die
Teleskopkonstruktion einführen und mit zwei
(mitgelieferten) Schrauben am Bügel
befestigen - Abb. 10.
Die Haube mit 6 (mitgelieferten) Schrauben
an der Teleskopkonstruktion befestigen Abb.11.
Durch die Öffnungen D das (mitgelieferte)
Reduzierstück am Luftauslassstutzen der
Haube (Abb. 16) anbringen; dann am
Reduzierstück den Schlauch für die Ableitung
der Luft anbringen.
Den elektrischen Anschluss mit dem
Netzkabel vornehmen.
Das Klebeband entfernen, das untere Rohr
nach unten absenken und es vorsichtig auf
das Gerät aufsetzen.
Die Kohlefilter installieren, indem die beiden
Federn des Filters in die entsprechenden Sitze
(Abb. 17) eingesetzt und nach oben gedreht
werden.
Nun ist die Montage abgeschlossen und
die Fettfilter können wieder eingesetzt werden.
FUNKTIONSWEISE
--------------------------------------------------------
Befehle (Abb. 18):
Taste A = LICHT einschalten/ausschalten.
Taste B = TIMER einschalten/ausschalten:
Beim ersten Drücken wird der Timer
aktiviert und nach 5 Minuten kommt der
Motor zum Stillstand (wobei gleichzeitig
auf dem Display die Zahl für die gewählte
Geschwindigkeit aufblinkt); der Timer
bleibt in Funktion, wenn sich die
Motorgeschwindigkeit ändert.
Display C = - Anzeige der gewählten
Motorgeschwindigkeit (von 1 bis 4)
- Anzeige der Timerauslösung durch
Aufblinken der Nummer
- Anzeige des Filteralarms, wenn das
mittlere Segment sich einschaltet oder
blinkt.
Taste D = Schaltet den Motor ein (in der
zuletzt eingestellten Geschwindigkeit).
Wird die Taste nochmals gedrückt, so
werden nacheinander die Geschwindigkeiten 1-4 des Motors
eingeschaltet. Wird die Taste ungefahr 2
Sekunden lang gedrückt, so kommt der
Motor zum Stillstand.
Taste R = Reset der Antifett- und der
Kohlefilter. Bei Eintritt des Filteralarms
(Einschalten des mittleren Segments auf
dem Display) sind die Fettfilter (nach 30
Betriebsstunden) zu reinigen. Blinkt das
mittlere Segment auf, so sind die
Antifettfilter zu reinigen und die Kohlefilter
zu ersetzen (nach Ablauf von 120
Betriebsstunden). Wenn hingegen Ihre
Haube keine Filterversion ist und daher
keine Kohlefilter hat, sind nur die Fettfilter
zu reinigen, egal ob das mittlere Segment
ununterbrochen angezeigt wird oder nur
blinkt. Die Filteranzeige leuchtet bei
ausgeschaltetem Motor und ist ungefähr
30 Sekunden lang sichtbar.
Zur Wiederaufnahme der
Stundenzählung muss die Taste 2
Sekunden lang gedrückt werden
während die Anzeige blinkt.
Ersatz der Kohlefilter
Wird ein Gerät in Filterversion eingesetzt, so
müssen die Kohlefilter ersetzt werden: Den
Festhalter nach innen drücken (Abb. 17) und
nach unten drehen, bis die beiden Filterzungen
aus ihrem Sitz entfernt werden können.
Die Kohlefilter jedesmal auswechseln, wenn
auf dem Display das mittlere Segment aufblinkt
(das heißt alle 120 Betriebsstunden).
Beleuchtung:
Zur Entfernung der Halogenbirnen ist die
Fassung entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn zu
drehen (Abb. 19). Setzen Sie Ersatzbirnen
desselben Typs ein.

ATTENTION

La distance entre la surface de la table de
cuisson et la base de la hotte doit être d'au
moins 65 cm.
L'air aspiré ne doit pas être canalisé dans un
conduit qui est utilisé pour évacuer les fumées
produites par des appareils alimen-tés par
des sources d'énergies autres que l'énergie
électrique (installations de chauf-fage central,
radiateurs, chauffe-eau, etc.).
Pour évacuer l'air qui doit être éliminé respectez
les prescriptions des autorités compétentes.
De plus l'air qui doit être évacué ne doit pas
être déchargé dans une cavité du mur, à
moins que cette cavité soit prévue pour ce but.
Prévoyez une aération de la pièce adéquate
quand une hotte et des appareils alimentés
par une énergie autre que l'énergie électrique
(poêle à gaz, à huile, à charbon etc.) sont
utilisés en même temps. En effet, en évacuant
l'air, la hotte pourrait créer une dépression
dans la pièce. La pression négative de la pièce
ne doit pas dépasser 0,04mbar, évitant ainsi
que la source de chaleur provoque un appel
des gaz qui doivent être évacués. Il est donc
nécessaire d'équiper la pièce de prises d'air
alimentant un flux d'air frais constant.
ATTENTION: cet appareil doit être relié à
la terre.
Lors du raccordement électrique assurez-
vous que la prise de courant est munie de
connexion de mise à terre; vérifiez aussi que
les valeurs de tension correspondent à celles
qui sont indiquées sur la plaque des
caractéristiques de l’appareil, qui se trouve à
l'intérieur de celui-ci. Si votre appareil, n'a pas
de câble flexible qui ne peut pas être séparé
ni de prise, ou bien d'autre dispositif qui ga-
rantisse le dé-branchement de tous les pôles
du réseau, avec une distance d'ouverture
entre les contacts d'au moins 3 mm, ces
dispositifs de séparation du réseau doivent
alors être prévus dans l'installation fixe. Si
votre appareil est muni d’un câble
d’alimentation, positionner l’appareil de
manière à ce que la fiche soit accessible.
Avant de procéder à une opération d’entretien
ou de nettoyage quelconque, débranchez
l’appareil.
UTILISATION
--------------------------------------------------------
Evitez d'utiliser des matériaux qui causent des
flammes à proximité de l'appareil.
Dans le cas de fritures, faites tout particulièrement attention au danger d’incendie que
représentent les huiles et les corps gras. A
cause de son inflammabilité l’huile usagée est
particulièrement dangereuse. N'utilisez pas
de grils électriques découverts.
Pour éviter des risques d'incendie possibles
suivez les instructions données concernant le
nettoyage des filtres à graisse et sur la façon
d'enlever des dépôts éventuels de graisse sur
l'appareil.
ENTRETIEN
--------------------------------------------------------
Un entretien soigné est une garantie de bon
fonctionnement et de bon rendement de votre
appareil dans le temps.
Prêter une attention particulière aux filtres à
graisse. Les filtres à graisse doivent être
nettoyés environ toutes les 30 heures de
fonctionnement (lorsque le segment central
sur l’afficheur s’allume ou clignote). Pour
enlever les filtres: à l'aide de la poignée,
pousser l’arrêt vers l’intérieur et tirer le filtre
vers le bas (Fig. 4). Laver les filtres avec une
lessive neutre, à la main ou dans le lavevaisselle. Une fois les filtres propres remontés,
appuer pendant 2 secondes sur la touche R
(Rétablissement) pour faire repartir le
comptage. Pour toute information
complémentaire voir les Commandes sous le
paragraphe "Fonctionnement".
L’élimination, d’éventuels dépôts de graisse
sur l’appareil, doit être effectuée en fonction
de l’utilisation de ce dernier (au moins tous les
2 mois). Il faut éviter d’utiliser des produits
contenant des abrasifs ou des corrosifs. Pour
le nettoyage extérieur des appareils peints,
utiliser un chiffon mouillé avec de l’eau tiède
et un détersif neutre. Pour le nettoyage
extérieur des appareils en acier, en cuivre et
en laiton il est conseillé d’utiliser des produits
spécifiques et de suivre les instructions fournies
sur le produit. Pour le nettoyage de l’intérieur
de l’appareil, utiliser un chiffon (ou un pinceau)
imbibé d’alcool dénaturé.
DESCRIPTION
--------------------------------------------------------
Cet appareil est composé d’une hotte, d’une
structure télescopique et d’un tuyau télescopique
qui doit être appliqué sur le haut de votre hotte en
tant que revêtement du tuyau d’évacuation.
L'appareil peut être en version recyclage, en
version aspirante, ou en version avec moteur
extérieur.
Dans la version à Recyclage l’air et les vapeurs
convoyés par l’appareil sont épurés par les filtres
à charbon et remis en circulation dans la pièce
à travers les grilles d’aération du tuyau (Fig. 1).
ATTENTION: Dans la version recyclage il faut
utiliser un filtre à charbon et un déflecteur d’air
(Fig. 1A) qui, placé sur la partie supérieure de la
structure, permet le recyclage de l’air dans la
pièce.
Dans la version Aspirante, les vapeurs et les
odeurs de la cuisine sont convoyées directement à l’extérieur par un tuyau d’évacuation à
travers le plafond (Fig. 2).
Dans la version avec moteur extérieur (Fig. 3)
l'appareil doit être relié à une hotte aspirante
séparée. Il sert de base d'installation d'évacuation
de l'air. Employer uniquement les moteurs
proposés dans le catalogue original.
Pour obtenir des conditions optimales, vous
devez, pour ce qui concerne la version aspirante
et la version avec moteur extérieur, employer un
tuyau d’évacuation qui ait: – une longueur
suffisante. – le moins de courbes possible (l'angle
maximum des courbes ne doit pas dépasser
90°). – soit fait d'une matière approuvée par la loi
(qui peut varier selon les Etats). – la partie interne
le plus lisse possible.
De plus, nous vous conseillons d’éviter des
changements brusques de section du tuyau
(diamètre conseillé: 150 mm).
INSTALLATION
--------------------------------------------------------
ATTENTION: Il faut au moins deux personnes
pour monter cet appareil; il est conseillé de
confier les opérations d'installation à des
spécialistes.
En outre, nous vous conseillons de suivre
scrupuleusement toutes les phases de
montage et de vous assurer, lorsque vous
aurez terminé, que l'appareil est solidement
fixé.
