1. Safety Precaution

(1) When moving or laying down a LCD Set, at least two people must work together. Avoid any
impact towards the LCD Set.
(2) Do not leave a broken LCD Set on for a long time. To prevent any further damages, after
checking the condition of the broken Set, make sure to turn the power (AC) off.
(3) When opening the BACK COVER, you must turn off power (AC) to prevent any electric
shock.
(4) When loosening screws, check the position and type of the screw. Sort out the screws and
store them separately for reassembling. Because screws holding PCBs are working as electric circuit grounding, make sure to check if any screw is missing when assembling / reassembling. Do not leave any screws inside the set.
(5) A LCD Set contains different kinds of connector cables. When connecting or disconnecting
cables, check the direction and position of the cable beforehand.
(6) Connect/disconnect the connectors slowly with care especially FFC (film) cables and FPC
cables. Do not connect or disconnect connectors instantaneously with force, and handle them carefully for reassembling.
(7) Connectors are designed so that if the number of pins or the direction does not match,
connectors will not fit. When having problem in plugging the connectors, check their kind, position, and direction.
2. Preliminary Troubleshooting

1) LCD TV does not response or remote controller does not work.
- Check the power cord to be plugged.
- Check the battery of the remote controller.
2) Sound is discontinuous or broken sometimes.
- Check if [SOUND] -> [AVC] is [ON].
- Set the sound effect into 'F Mono'.
- Set the [SOUND] -> [Digital Volume] into proper value.
- [Digital Volume] is enabled only in digital program.
3) Picture of digital program is sometimes broken and sound is discontinuous.
- Digital program has a little problem because of signal receiving status.
- Check if the RF cable is correctly connected.
- Ask for the broadcasting station if the RF cable connection has no problem.
4) Picture of analog program is noisy.
- Check the RF cable connection.
- Check if [Picture] -> [N.R] is ON.
- Change the [Channel] -> [Fine Tune] value.
5) Sound is not generated in HDMI mode.
- Reconnect HDMI jack.
- DVI signal has no sound. Check the output signal of device to be connected to LCD TV.
- If you want to use DVI-HDMI cable, you should also connect audio cable into the LCD TV.
6) In spite of 'Auto Setup', picture size is not completely adapted to the screen in PC mode.
- Check if the input signal is available.
- Ensure that the desktop has no black area.
- Some errors (picture position problem) will be occurred according to certain video card. In this case, you should adjust 'Frequency' control.
7) In spite of 'Auto Setup', picture is not clear in the PC mode.
- Adjust 'Phase' control.

Ø Analog (NTSC) :
G CC1 : The Primary Synchronous Caption Service.
These are captions in the primary language that must be in sync with the sound, preferably matched to a specific frame.
G CC2 : The Special Non-Synchronous Use Captions.
This channel carries data that is intended to augment information carried in the program.
G CC3 : Secondary Synchronous Caption Service.
Alternate program-related caption data, typically second language captions.

Magenta, and Cyan. You can change the color of the letter.The default is White.
G BG Color : This option consists of Default, White, Black, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow,
Magenta, and Cyan. You can change the background color of the caption. The default is Black.

You can change the background opacity of the caption.

To install the LCD TV on this hanger, please always ask your local service agent.
The TV must be firmly tightened on the wall to resist any vigorous vibration such as earthquake.
Use only supplied parts in the package. All screws must be firmly tightened.
All screws supplied in the package must be tightened in the designated places.
While tightening the screws and installing the TV set, no deformation of the product is allowed.
The hanger was designed only for DAEWOO LCD TV so don't use the hanger for any other Products.

This is heavy unit so extra care must be given at installation.
When installing the device on wooden wall;
Extra supporting bracket may be needed to properly support the TV.
When installing the device on concrete wall;
Use anchors supplied in the package.
Restrict any other's access to working area than the installers.
More than two personnel are required for the installation.
Fix the hanger on the flat surface for maximum contact against it.
Check if it is firmly fixed on the wall following the completion of installation.
• Observe the followings for installation and transportation.
There are risks for injury.
Disassembling the set while it is in stand position may cause
personal injury and product damage when it collapses down.

Cover the floor with a mat or sheet when trying to mount the TV.

If the place is not appropriated, the wall can be damaged.
If the spacing in inappropriate, the interior temperature may rise to cause failure.
Determine the installation place referring to below dimensions and attach the paper model on the wall first.
Maintain enough space (15cm) from other objects on the wall.

4. How to Install

* Cover a mat of sheet (vinyl back packing)
on the floor to prevent the product from scars.
* Unscrew screws from the stand and
disassemble it from the body. (store the screws in a secure place for future use)
* Remove the string and open the box
with the product upside.
* Remove the styrofoam from the top
and vinyl back.

Assembling the holder

* Unscrew 4 screws from the center area of the back.
(Store them in a secure place for future use)
* Fix the holder on the product back by screwing down 4 screws (M4*35mm) on
both right and left sides.
Note!
* Match the holder holes carefully to tighten them. * The screws may be damaged if the holds are not matching.

Attaching paper model on the wall
* Thrust in eight anchors in the holes.
* Using a hand drill, make screw holes
in the wall through the guide holes in the model.
* Attaching the paper model supplied
in the package on the wall using glue or tape.

Installing the support on the wall
* Match the support on the anchors in the wall and tighten 8 screws.

When installing the product on the simple frame wall with reinforcing wooden piece.
* If the hanger support can not be firmly fixed because of the structural problem with the simple frame wall, fix the one side of the product in the wall completely and fix the other side in the wall using the most appropriate hole among 7 holes in the frame.

Installing LCD TV
Assembling the holder in the support grooves.
* Insert the holder mounted on the TV into the grooves of the support and then
lower the TV by pushing against the support.
• More than two installer are required for the work.

When maximum safety is required
* If maximum safety is required for the TV mounting, temporarily tighten M6
(M6*65mm) screws in the hanger support for 5 mm and then completely tighten them after installing the main body.

When installing on the hanger, always request to the service center.
The product must be installed to withstand vibration during a long period of time including earth quake etc.
When installing the product, you must use the provided components and tighten the screws so that they are not loose.
The assemblies including screws necessary for the installation must be assembled to the designated location without leaving any out.
When assembling or installing the product, no part of the product must be deformed or changed.
Because this hanger is designed only for Daewoo products, you must not use it for other products.

Because the weight of the product assembly is heavy, it requires special care for the location to install the product.
You must check the wall material before the installation.
When installing the product on the concrete wall
You must install the product using the included anchor as the component.
The supplied anchors and screws should be used only when the thickness of the finish materials is less than 10 mm.
When installing the product on the wooden wall
Because the wall must be able to support the weight of the product adequately, it requires reinforced supper separately.
During the installation, make sure all people besides the work are not close by.
The installation work must be done by more than 2 people.
Fixate the hanger to the wall where it is flat and can be closely aligned to the wall.
When mounting to the hanger, place a sheet on the floor for the work.
The tightness of the product must be checked after the installation.
Y ou must follow the details during installation or transportation.
It can cause an injury.
If you disassemble the stand with the stand in upright position, the set can fall to cause injury or damage to the product.

1. When installing the wall mount, you must use the components and parts provided with the product.
2. Before installing the wall mount, you must connect the connecting wire of the applicable device to the product terminal.
3. The company is not responsible for the product damage or injury that occurs when the consumer uses a wall mount not specified or installs the wall mount arbitrarily by himself/herself.
4. Do not let children play under the product.
5. When turning the angle or rotating the product, be careful not the hit the back of the product to the wall. (You can prevent the product from being damaged by the wall by attaching pieces of sponge at the 4 corners.)
If the installation location is not right, it will only damage the wall and the product will not be installed properly.
If the clearance is not secured, the internal temperature of the TV will rise to cause a problem.
During the installation, designate the location by referring to the product size, and attach the paper model for arrangement on the wall. Refer to the exterior pictures by product shown in the paper model for arrangement when setting the product.
During the installation, make sure you maintain an adequate clearance (more than 15cm) with other walls or other external objects.

3. Installation
This is for LCD/PDP TV with stand attached.
Separate the stand
T o prevent scratches to the product, put a sheet (plastic pack etc.) on the floor and then put the product up side down.

Assemble holder for wall hanger on the LCD/PDP TV
Remove the product package

After removing the wrapping string, open the product so that the top of the box faces up.
After removing the top Styrofoam, remove the plastic bag of the product.
Unscrew the fixation screws of the stand with a driver and separate the stand from the product. (Keep the removed screws in a safe location so that they can be used later on.)

Align the bottom fixation hole of the set and the reference location of frame A accurately before assembling.
Note!
If the groove is not aligned properly, it can wear the screw and might not be installed.

Precautions when assembling frame A

When assembling frame A, align the unit to the reference location by set and assemble the 4 fixation screws with a driver.

Assemble connecting frame C with wall hanger frame B and installing it on the wall
Assemble the connecting frame C with the wall hanger frame B
Attach the paper model for arrangement of the wall hanger assembly
Align the fixating part of frame B to the marked location by the set. Screw the included screws (M5) on the left and right side of the wall hanger frame B and connecting frame C.
Attach the paper model for arrangement of the wall hanger assembly (actual size) on the installation location with glue or tape.
After checking the set model, drill the holes on the wall on the location marked on the paper model for arrangement with a hand drill.
Clean each drilled hole.

Note
When assembling the frame B and the connecting frame C, make sure there aren’t any twists among the parts.
If there are any twists, it can cause a defect on the wall hanger connecting frame C.

Hammer the anchor (12 units) for concrete wall on the groove. When it is not assembled at the designated location inevitably , it can be assembled in the nearest location. But do not make changes for more than 2 locations.

Align the wall hanger mount to the anchor drilled on the wall, and then tighten the screws included at the right spot.

When installing the attached wall with reinforcement installed
When the distance between the reinforcements on the attached wall are not appropriate in terms of structure and when it is not easy to fixate the wall hanger mount, completely fixate one side to the reinforcement wood and using the assembly holes on the frame (12 holes) appropriately fixate it to the reinforcement wood.
But, do not make changes for more than 2 locations besides the designated location.

Never install on the plaster wall.
When installing on a wall that is not made of concrete, it must be installed to withstand 70N for drawn load (horizontal load) and 100N or above for fatigue load (vertical load).

Installing the LCD/PDP TV product on the wall
Assemble top of frame A and frame B
Assemble the top of frame A assembled to LCD/PDP TV to the top part
of frame B. When you increase the angle of frame A while installing the set, you can easily install the set.
When assembling the hook of the frame A and the frame B, keep an angle of 25
at least. Ascertain that the hook of the frame A has been inserted into the slot of the frame B(

Push the lower part of the TV set ( and fasten the TV set to the frame B. (At this moment, if you hear the clanking sound, they must be completely assembled.)

Assemble safety device screw
After assembling the product, assemble 6 screws on the fixation location of frame B using the fixation screw (M3) of the safety device.

When leveling the product
After assembling the LCD/PDP TV product and the wall hanger product, check whether it is leveled. If not, level the assembly using the slider screw.
(The monitor tilt is changed according to bolt rotation direction.)

4.Adjusting the angle (0°~ 20°)
This is the work to adjust the viewing angle.
This is the shape with the angle adjusted.
Completely pull out the two screws on the top. Adjust the angle of the top of the frame B.

Note
This work must be done when the LCD/PDP TV has been removed. Keep the two screws removed from the assembly in a safe location for future angle adjustment. The maximum adjustable angel can differ by each set.
