1. Safety
1.1 Things to consider
ENGLISH
• Working with wood can be dangerous if the correct procedures are not observed.
• Using the saw with common sense and caution will greatly reduce the risk of personal injury.
• Safety devices such as guards, push-sticks, clamps, safety goggles, dust masks and ear defenders can
never make up for bad judgement, carelessness or inattentiveness.
• N.B: you are responsible for your own safety. The saw has been designed to perform certain tasks.
We strongly recommend that the saw is not altered in any way and that it is not used for performing any task
for which it was not designed.
• Do not use the saw if you are unsure whether the saw can or should be used to perform the task you intend
to use it for.
1.2 General safety instructions for your safety and the safety of others
Always disconnect the product from the mains power supply before performing any service or adjustment.
Warning: When you are using electric hand tools the included safety instructions should be followed to avoid
risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
1. Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered surfaces and benches invite accidents.
2. Do not use the machine in a dangerous environment. Electrical power tools should not be used on moist
or wet surfaces or in the rain. Make sure that the work area is well lit. When working in dusty atmospheres,
make sure that the air is adequately circulated. Do not operate electrical power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
3. Avoid electric shocks. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators when using power tools.
4. Keep children and bystanders away. Keep children and visitors at a safe distance from electrical
machinery/tools and electric cables in the workplace.
5. Store power tools out of the reach of children. When not in use, power tools should be stored locked
away in a safe place, away from children.
6. Do not force the power tool. The correct feed rate makes the work better and safer.
7. Use the correct tool for the job. Do not force a tool to perform a task that it was not designed for.
8. Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear any loose-fitting clothing, gloves, necklaces, bracelets or other
jewellery that can get caught in moving parts. Non-slip footwear is recommended. Wear a hairnet or similar
if you have long hair.
9. Always use safety glasses. Normal glasses are not tough enough to withstand impacts. Use a dust mask
or dust filter when working in dusty environments.
10. Use a dust extractor. If the machine is equipped with dust extraction equipment, ensure that it is
connected and used properly. Make sure to empty the dust bag regularly. Warning: Dust and chippings
from certain kinds of wood/material can be hazardous to your health, even after a short exposure time.
11. Do not abuse the lead. Do not carry the machine by its mains lead. Do not yank the mains lead to turn
the power off, pull the plug out instead. Make sure that the mains lead does not come into contact with
heat, oil, or sharp edges.
12. Secure the workpiece firmly. Wherever possible, use clamps or a vice. You can then operate the tool using
two hands. This is much safer than holding the workpiece in one hand.
13. Do not overreach. Make sure that you stand steady and balanced all times.
14. Look after your tools. Keep blades sharp and clean for the best and safest performance. Follow the
manual’s recommendations regarding lubrication and replacement of accessories. Check all the mains leads
regularly. If it is damaged it should be replaced by a qualified service technician. If an extension lead is used,
it too should be checked and replaced if damaged. Make sure that the machine’s handles and controls are
clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
15. Turn the power off. Pull out the plug and push in the emergency stop button before servicing or changing
any blades, drill bits, cutters or sanding discs.
16. Remove all spanners and repair tools. Make a habit of checking to make sure that the machine is free of
all spanners and tools before turning the power on.
17. Avoid accidental starting. Do not walk around with your finger on the trigger of a power tool if it is plugged
in. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF before plugging in any power tool.

18. Use the correct extension leads. If you use extension leads outdoors, only use those designed for outdoor
use. Only use extension leads with adequate wire core area and roll out the whole lead.
19. Use common sense and be careful. Think carefully before carrying out every action, so that it is carried
out safely. Never operate machines/power tools when you are tired or under the influence of medicine.
20. Inspect the tool for damage. Check the following before turning the tool on: that the guards and other
parts are undamaged and working properly, that moving parts can rotate freely and are correctly aligned,
that no moving parts can get caught, that there is no fault or defect that could affect the performance of the
machine. A safety guard or any other part that is damaged should be repaired by a tradesman or replaced.
Damaged power leads and switches must always be replaced by a tradesman. Never operate a tool if you
cannot stop or start the tool comfortably.
21. Use only recommended accessories. The use of non-recommended accessories can cause accidents
and personal injury.
22. Power tools should only be repaired by a qualified technician. This tool conforms to current
safety requirements. Repairs to the tool should only be carried out by a tradesman using original spares;
otherwise the tool could cause accidents and personal injury.
23. Use a Residual Current Device on all 230 V power tools. This can help minimise the risk of an electric
shock in the event of an earth fault or short circuit. The product must not be modified or used for any other
purpose than that for which it has been designed. Regularly check that all screws and nuts are tight.
1.3 Specific Safety Instructions for Table Mounted Circular Saws and Mitre Saws
Warning: Always unplug the machine before carrying out any maintenance or changing the blade.
Note: Make sure that all the parts are working properly and that the safety devices are in place before starting the saw.
1. Warning: Use only cross-cut saw blades. Make sure that TCT blades have negative rake. Do not use blades
with deep spacing between the teeth because the teeth might bend and come into contact with the blade
guard. A damaged blade should be replaced immediately.
2. Do not use the saw unless it has been completely assembled using the instructions in this manual.
Check that the motor and the blade are rotating the right way (see direction arrow on blade guard).
Make sure that the blade does not come into contact with the table in any of the settings.
Unplug the machine and manually tilt the blade to 45° and 90°. Adjust the saw head if necessary.
3. If you do not understand how the saw should be used, ask a knowledgeable person for advice.
4. Do not saw freehand. Make sure that the workpiece is firmly secured against the fence before you start
sawing. If the workpiece that you are sawing requires you to have one hand as close as 10 cm from
the blade, fix the workpiece to the table using a clamp, etc. before sawing.
5. Warning: Keep hands away from the saw blade. Never saw small objects. Use a push-stick.
6. Check that the blade is well-centred, sharp and that it rotates freely and without vibration.
7. Let the motor come up to speed before starting to cut.
8. Always keep the motor’s ventilation openings free of dust and debris.
9. Make sure that all clamps are tight before starting to saw, even if the table is locked at a fixed angle.
10. Make sure that the blade and flanges are clean and that the spindle nut is tight. Use only the blade flanges
belonging to your saw.
11. The riving knife should have a radius compatible with the diameter of the saw blade.
12. Use only saw blades having a diameter and speed rating complying with those in the technical specifications.
13. When sawing long objects, make sure that the ends are adequately supported.
14. Always check the blade for cracks and fractures before using it. Replace a damaged blade immediately.
15. Never use the saw if any part is missing, damaged or not functioning properly. Unplug the saw if it starts to
make unusual noises or vibrations. Get a professional to replace the missing or damaged part before you
use the saw again.
16. Never use the saw if the blade guard is not in place and working properly.
17. Never stretch round or over the blade when it is rotating. Maintain a steady stance and remain balanced at all times.
18. Make sure that the blade can rotate freely (especially after transportation/blade changes) before plugging in
and starting the saw.
19. Do not use high speed steel (HSS) blades if the saw is supplied with a tungsten carbide (TCT) blade.

20. Turn the machine off and wait until the blade has stopped before moving the workpiece or adjusting any setting.
21. Do not remove any offcuts or jammed material from around the blade area until the blade has stopped.
22. Never saw into ferrous metals, brick or mortar.

23. Never use the saw near flammable fluids or gas.
24. Never clean the plastic parts of the saw using solvents. Solvents can dissolve or otherwise damage plastic;
use a soft, moist cloth only.
25. Unplug and clean the saw before leaving it. Always tidy the work area when you have finished working.
26. Keep this instruction manual safe for future reference. Make sure that everyone using the saw has read
these instructions.
27. Do not expose the saw to rain and do not use it in humid environments.
28. Ensure that the work area is well-lit.
29. Wear suitable clothing, loose clothing or jewellery can get caught in moving parts.
30. Operators of the saw must be at least 18 years old. Operators aged 16 must be supervised by an instructor
at all times. Keep children away from the saw when it is connected to the power supply.
31. Keep the work area tidy; do not leave offcuts or waste material around the saw unnecessarily. Make sure
that all offcuts can be removed from the saw blade; otherwise they might be ejected by the blade.
32. Do not distract the operator of the saw.
33. Do not try to stop the blade by pushing something against the side of the blade when the power has been turned off.
34. Never use saw blades that do not comply with the specifications in this manual.
35. Always make sure that the blade guard is in place and working properly.
36. Never lock the blade guard in the open position or alter any of the machines safety devices in any way.
Never use a faulty safety device, replace it immediately.
37. Always position your hands in such a way that they will not slip into the saw blade should you lose your
balance. Never saw workpieces that are too small to hold safely.
38. Use a table, roller stand, etc for support when working on long workpieces, to prevent the table from tipping over.
39. Secure round workpieces to the table using suitable clamps to stop them from rotating.
40. Never cut a workpiece with nails or screws in it. Inspect the workpiece before sawing.
41. Always stand to the side of the blade when using the saw so that you are not in its path in case it breaks.
42. Always ensure that the workpiece is securely pressed against the rip fence and surface of the table so that it
cannot twist whilst being sawed.
43. Never saw more than one workpiece at a time.
44. Never attempt to remove sawdust or offcuts trapped around the blade whilst the saw blade is rotating.
Always switch off the machine and unplug it before adjusting the machine or removing waste material.
45. Always switch off the machine and unplug it before cleaning the machine or measuring the workpiece.
46. Always switch off the machine and unplug it before leaving the work area.
47. Electrical installations, repairs or maintenance must be carried out by a qualified person.
48. All safety devices must be reattached to the machine immediately after any repairs or maintenance.
49. It is very important to observe the directions for the safety, operation and maintenance of the machine as
well adhering to the characteristics specified in Technical Data.
50. It is essential to follow all Health and Safety Executive regulations as well as general safety regulations.
51. Use only a machine with a dust extractor in a closed room if the room has an air inlet, to prevent the build-up
of a vacuum.
52. The saw must only be used with a 230 V plug protected by at least a 10 A fuse.
53. Faulty safety devices and damaged parts must be repaired or replaced by a qualified tradesman.
54. This machine conforms to all relevant safety standards. It must only be repaired by a qualified tradesman using
genuine spare parts. Failure to follow these rules could put the operator in danger or cause an accident.
55. Do not use saw blades that are thicker or thinner than the riving knife (applies to circular saws).
56. Always use a riving knife when rip cutting.
57. Make sure that the riving knife is adjusted so that the distance between the teeth of the blade and
the riving knife is no more than 5 mm.

5. Assembly
5.1 Removing the packing material

1. Lay the table saw upside down on a piece of cardboard (to protect the table).
2. Undo the screws holding the bottom plate and remove it.
3. Remove any packing material inside the bottom plate.
4. Screw the bottom plate back into place.
5.2 Attaching the push stick holders

Screw the spring clips (B) onto the left side of the table saw using the two supplied screws and the predrilled
holes. Always keep the push stick in the holder when it is not in use.
5.3 Attaching the rear and two side table extensions
The table saw has a rear table extension (I) and two side table extensions (J) for working on large workpieces.
Use dome head bolts with flat and spring washers to fasten the rear table extension.

1. Attach the side table extensions to the saw table by fastening flat washers, spring washers and nuts onto
the bolts which are welded to the side tables. Each side table should also be attached with a dome bolt in
the middle (R).

2. Assemble the legs (H) and the supports (N and O) (some of
the supports use the same bolts as the legs).
3. Bolt on the two longer supports (N) connecting the rear
table extension to the saw.
4. Bolt on the two shorter supports (O) connecting the side tables
to the saw.
5. Bolt the four side rails (L) to the legs.
6. Wait until all the parts have been assembled before tightening all
the nuts and bolts.
7. Turn the saw over so that it is standing on the legs.
8. Check that all of the table extensions are level using a spirit level.
Adjust if necessary.

5.4 Attaching the blade height adjuster
Twist the height adjustment wheel (G) so that the bolt passes through
the slot. Fasten the wheel on using a tooth lock washer and cap nut.
5.5 Attaching the riving knife
1. Remove the table insert. Undo the two riving knife bolts using
the Allen key (P).
2. Wind up the blade as high as it will go.

3. Mount the riving knife and set it so that the curve of the riving
knife follows the curve of the blade at a distance of max 5 mm.
4. Retighten the bolts.
5. Refit the table insert.

5.6 Attaching and removing the blade guard
The blade guard (M) is attached to the riving knife (F), so the riving knife must be attached first.

1. Push the blade guard down onto the riving knife until
the attachment holes line up.
2. Pass a bolt through both the blade guard and the riving knife
and fasten them together using a nut (S). Finger-tighten only;
the blade guard must be able to move.
3. Make sure that the blade guard works, that is to say, that it rises
when a workpiece is moved towards the blade and that it lowers
after sawing. Check that the blade moves freely and does not
catch on anything.
4. Connect a vacuum cleaner or dust extractor to the extractor port
on the back of the table saw.

6. Operation
• Always check that the safety guards are attached and intact before starting the saw.
• Check that the saw blade is vertical (90°) and that the cutting depth is enough for the workpiece to be cut.
• Make sure that all screws, bolts and nuts are tight.
6.1 Starting and stopping the machine
On/off switch (start/stop)
• Push the green button [1] to start the motor.
• Push the red button [0] to turn the machine off.
No-volt release switch
The machine is equipped with a no-volt release switch which prevents the machine from starting automatically
when the power comes back on following a power cut. Reset the switch by starting the machine normally.
Motor overload cut-out
• If the motor is overloaded due to improper use such as feeding
the workpiece too fast, the motor safety cut-out will trip.
• Find out why the safety cut-out has activated and make sure that
the blade rotates freely and that no offcuts have jammed around
the blade.
• Wait for about 10 minutes and then push the safety cut-out
reset button (2).
• The saw can now be restarted as normal using the green button [1].

6.2 Setting the cutting depth
• Turn the adjustment wheel (G) anticlockwise to increase
the cutting depth.
• Turn the adjustment wheel clockwise to decrease
the cutting depth.

6.3 Rip fence
1. Use the rip fence when rip cutting
2. Attach the rip fence to the clamp using coach bolts and two adjusting knOBS!
3. The rip fence can be used on both sides of the table but it must first be removed from the clamp and
fastened to the other side of the clamp. The rip fence can be attached in two ways, with the high side or
the low side facing the workpiece (the low side makes it easier to handle thin material such as plywood).
4. Lift the locking lever and move the fence to the desired position.
5. Push the locking lever down and make a test cut, adjust if necessary.
6.4 Mitre guide
1. Slide the mitre guide into one of the slots on the table from the front.
2. Undo the locking knob and set the desired angle.
3. Tighten the locking knob.
4. Undo the two adjustment knobs and move the aluminium section
sideways so that it does not catch on the blade, tighten
the adjustment knobs.
6.5 Setting the blade tilt
ENGLISH
Warning: The locking knob behind the adjustment wheel must be
undone before the blade angle can be adjusted. Remember to lock it
again before starting to saw.
1. Undo the locking knob (22).
2. Set the blade to the desired tilt angle using the tilt adjuster (24).
3. Move the tilt adjuster until the index mark (25) (next to the cutting
depth adjustment wheel) points to the desired angle on the scale.
4. Tighten the locking knob (22).
5. Use a gauge (set square, etc) to measure the blade angle.
Set the blade to 90° using the gauge/set square. Undo the screw
holding the index marker and move it to 90° on the scale.

6.6 Rip cutting
• Warning: Make a test cut and measure before starting to rip cut.
• Always let the saw blade come up to full speed before starting to cut.
• Be extra careful at the beginning of every cut.
• Note: Rehearse every step of the cutting task without turning the saw on if you are unsure how to hold
the workpiece and work safely.
• Rip cutting means cutting a length of material along the grain.
1. Hold one side of the material against the rip fence and the flat face against the surface of the table.
2. The blade guard must be intact and working properly.
3. Make sure that you stand to the side of the blade and not directly in front of it when ripping
(Note: There is a risk of the workpiece being ejected towards the user).
4. Set the rip fence and tighten it.
5. Start the motor and let it come up to speed.
6. Hold the workpiece in both hands and press it against the table and the rip fence whilst feeding it past
the saw blade with a smooth and steady motion.
7. Leave the waste on the table, do not remove it until the blade has stopped.
8. Use supports if you are working on long workpieces.
9. Use a push stick if one of your hands needs to be closer than 125 mm away from the blade during any part
of the sawing process.

6.7 Rip cutting narrow workpieces
Use a push stick when ripping workpieces narrower than 125 mm.
Warning: Damaged or worn push sticks must be replaced immediately.

6.8 Sawing with a tilted blade
Always use the rip fence when sawing with a tilted blade (refer to 6.5 Setting the blade tilt).
1. Set the blade to the desired angle.
2. Set the rip fence to suit the height and width of the workpiece.
3. Set the correct cutting depth.
6.9 Crosscutting
Warning: Do not use the rip fence as an end stop when crosscutting. Waste stock can become trapped
between the blade and rip fence and be thrown back.
1. Slide the mitre guide into one of the two slots in the table and set it to the desired angle.
2. Adjust the length of the aluminium section on the mitre guide so that it does not catch on the saw blade.
3. Push the workpiece against the mitre guide.
4. Start the saw.
5. Move the mitre guide and the workpiece towards the saw blade.
6. Note: Always hold the part of the workpiece supported by the mitre guide, never hold the part that is to be
cut off. Feed the workpiece past the blade until it is cut all the way through.
7. Switch the table saw off.
8. Let the blade come to a complete stop before removing any waste.
7. Changing the blade
Warning: Always disconnect the product from the mains power supply before performing any service or adjustment.
Wear gloves when handling the saw blade.
1. Wind the saw blade up to its highest position.
2. Remove the blade guard (5).
3. Remove the table insert (7).

4. Hold the spindle using one of the spanners (Q).
5. Use the other spanner to undo the blade nut (T) (anticlockwise).

6. Remove the blade nut, the outer blade flange (U) and the saw blade.
7. Make sure that the spindle, blade flange (V) and blade nut
are undamaged and free of wood and resin deposits.
Clean them if necessary.

8. Attach the saw blade (make sure that it is the right way round, with the teeth forwards/downwards),
the flange nut and then the blade nut. Tighten the blade nut. Note: Wear gloves when handling
the saw blade. Be careful when tightening the nuts so that you do not slip and cut yourself on the saw blade.
9. Attach the blade guard.
10. Adjust the riving knife (max. 5 mm from the blade) if necessary.

11. Fit the table insert.
12. Make sure that the blade can rotate freely without catching on anything and that the blade is parallel with
the rip fence. Make sure that the blade guard is undamaged and working properly.
13. Clear the saw table of all tools, check that all screws and nuts are tightened and that the saw blade is
completely wound down and vertical (90°).
14. Switch the table saw on, but switch it off immediately if it vibrates or makes strange noises.

8. Troubleshooting
Inspect all safety devices after the machine has been repaired.
Problem Solution

The motor does not start. • Inspect the cable, plug and fuses.
• The no-volt release might have tripped. Try starting the machine again.
The motor’s safety cut-out has

The saw blade has jammed on

The workpiece or parts of it are
thrown backwards.

The motor does not come up to speed. • Voltage drop, check/replace extension/power lead.

• Allow the motor to cool for ten minutes and then push in the circuit
breaker reset button. Start the motor as usual.

• Do not feed the workpiece so fast that the motor speed drops.
• Unplug the machine and remove the obstacle that the blade got stuck on.

• Clean the table and saw blade if necessary.
• Check and adjust angles and index mark.

Make sure that the saw blade is not thinner than the riving knife and
if it is, change it for a thicker one.
• The rip fence is not parallel with the saw blade, adjust. Check/adjust
the riving knife so that it is in line with the saw blade. Feed the entire
workpiece past the blade before letting go of it (use a push stick if
necessary). Inspect the saw blade regularly, change if necessary.
• Use a brush and vacuum cleaner to remove all sawdust from
the adjustment mechanisms, then carefully lubricate.
• Check if the blade is damaged or incorrectly aligned, replace it or
adjust it.
• Check that the floor is level and that all four of the legs are on
the floor, move the machine if necessary.
• The blade is blunt, change it. Use a slower feed rate.
• Check/adjust the riving knife so that it is in line with the saw blade.

1. Säkerhet
1.1 Tänk på detta
• Att arbeta i trä kan vara farligt om man inte gör på rätt sätt.
• Om du använder sågen med sunt förnuft och försiktighet minskas riskerna för personskada avsevärt.
• Säkerhetsutrustning i form av skydd, påskjutare, tvingar, skyddsglasögon, dammfilter och hörselskydd kan
inte kompensera dåligt omdöme, vårdslöshet eller ouppmärksamhet.
• Kom ihåg: du ansvarar själv för din egen säkerhet. Sågen har konstruerats för vissa arbetsuppgifter.
Vi rekommenderar starkt att du inte ändrar sågen eller använder den till något annat än det som den har
konstruerats för.
• Använd inte sågen om du är osäker på om den kan eller bör användas på det sätt som du har tänkt göra.

1.2 Generella säkerhetsregler för din och andras säkerhet
Dra alltid ur nätsladdens stickpropp ur uttaget innan service och justering av produkten.
Varning! När du använder elektriska verktyg ska alltid följande generella säkerhetsregler följas, för att undvika
brandfara, elektrisk chock och personskada:
1. Håll arbetsutrymmet rent. Belamrade ytor och bord inbjuder till olyckor.
2. Använd inte maskinen i riskfylld miljö. Elmaskiner ska inte användas på fuktiga ytor eller vid regn.
Se till att belysningen är god i arbetsutrymmet. Sörj för god luftväxling vid dammande arbeten.
Använd aldrig elmaskiner/verktyg där de kan förorsaka brand eller explosion.
3. Undvik elektrisk chock. Undvik kroppskontakt med jordade föremål som vattenledning, element,
köksspis etc. samtidigt som du använder elmaskiner/verktyg.
4. Håll undan barn och besökare. Alla barn och besökare bör befinna sig på säkerhetsavstånd från
elmaskiner/verktyg eller elkablar i arbetsutrymmet.
5. Förvara maskinen barnsäkert. Förvara elmaskiner/verktyg utom räckhåll för barn när de inte används.
6. Pressa inte maskinen. Den gör jobbet bättre och säkrare med avsedd matningshastighet.
7. Använd rätt verktyg. Pressa inte ett verktyg eller ett tillbehör att göra ett arbetsmoment som den inte är gjord för.
8. Bär lämplig klädsel. Inga löst sittande kläder, vantar, halsband, ringar, armband eller andra smycken som
kan fastna i roterande delar. Halksäkra skor rekommenderas. Bär hårnät eller liknande om du har långt hår.
9. Bär alltid skyddsglasögon. Bär alltid skyddsglasögon, vanliga glasögon räcker inte. Använd också
dammfilter eller skyddsmask vid dammande arbeten.
10. Använd utsug. Använd utsugningsutrustning för att ta bort och samla upp damm och spån, om maskinen
är avsedd för det. Se till att utrustningen används på rätt sätt och töms vid behov.
Varning! Damm och spån från vissa träslag och träprodukter kan skada din hälsa redan efter kort
exponeringstid.
11. Misshandla inte nätsladden. Bär aldrig maskinen i nätsladden. Ryck inte i sladden, utan dra i stickproppen
när du bryter strömmen. Se till att nätsladden inte kommer i kontakt med värme, olja eller vassa kanter.
12. Sätt fast ämnet ordentligt. Använd tvingar eller skruvstycke där det går så att du kan hantera verktyget
med två händer. Det är säkrare än att hålla fast ämnet med ena handen.
13. Sträck dig inte för långt. Se till att du hela tiden står säkert med god balans.
14. Håll verktyget i trim. Se till att det är rent och eggarna vassa för optimal effekt och ett säkert resultat.
Följ manualens rekommendationer för smörjning och byte av tillbehör. Kontrollera nätsladden regelbundet,
om den är skadad ska den bytas av en kvalificerad servicetekniker. Syna alla skarvsladdar regelbundet så att
de inte är skadade. Se till att maskinens/verktygets handtag och reglage är torra, rena och helt fria från olja, fett etc.
15. Slå av strömmen. Dra ur stickproppen och tryck in nödstopp (om det finns), före service och vid byte av
tillbehör som hyvelstål, borrar, skär, slipband eller blad.
16. Ta bort alla nycklar och serviceverktyg. Gör det till en vana att kontrollera att alla nycklar och
serviceverktyg är borttagna från maskinen innan du slår på strömmen.
17. Undvik oavsiktlig start. Bär inte ett verktyg med ett finger på strömbrytaren om sladden sitter i ett uttag.
Se till att strömbrytaren står på OFF när du sätter i stickproppen.
18. Använd rätt skarvsladdar. Om du använder skarvsladdar utomhus, använd endast de som är avsedda för
utomhusbruk. Använd skarvsladdar med tillräcklig ledararea, rulla ut hela sladden.

19. Använd sunt förnuft och var försiktig. Tänk efter innan du utför ett arbetsmoment så att du kan utföra det
på ett säkert sätt. Använd inte maskinen/verktyget när du är trött, påverkad av mediciner etc.
20. Kontrollera att alla delar är oskadade. Kontrollera innan du startar verktyget: att alla skydd och övriga
delar är oskadade och fyller sin funktion, att rörliga delar kan rotera fritt och är rätt inriktade, att inga rörliga
delar kan fastna, att ingen defekt uppstått och andra omständigheter som kan påverka arbetets utförande.
Ett skydd eller någon annan del som skadats, ska repareras fackmässigt eller bytas ut. Skadade nätsladdar
och strömbrytare ska alltid bytas ut av fackman. Använd aldrig verktyget om du inte kan stänga av eller
starta det på ett betryggande sätt.
21. Använd rekommenderade tillbehör. Användning av ej rekommenderade tillbehör kan vålla olyckor eller risk
för personskada.
22. Repareras endast av kvalificerad tekniker. Verktyget överensstämmer med gällande säkerhetskrav.
Reparationer av verktyget ska alltid utföras av fackman, med originalreservdelar, annars kan verktyget vålla
olyckor eller risk för personskada.
23. Elverktyg bör anslutas till elnätet via en jordfelsbrytare för personskydd. Produkten får inte ändras eller
användas till arbetsmoment som den inte är avsedd för. Kontrollera regelbundet att alla skruvar och muttrar
är ordentligt åtdragna.
1.3 Särskilda säkerhetsföreskrifter för bordscirkelsåg och kap- och geringssåg
Varning! Dra ur nätsladdens stickpropp före service eller byte av klinga.
OBS! Kontrollera att alla delar fungerar tillfredsställande och att säkerhetsanordningarna skyddar som avsett
innan du startar sågen.
1. Varning! Använd endast kapklingor. Se till att hårdmetallklingorna har negativ tandning. Använd inga klingor
med djupa mellanrum mellan tänderna eftersom de kan böjas och komma i kontakt med klingskyddet.
En skadad sågklinga ska omedelbart bytas ut.
2. Använd inte sågen förrän den är helt och rätt monterad enligt den här bruksanvisningen. Kontrollera motorns
och klingans rotationsriktning (se rotationspil på klingskyddet). Kontrollera att inte sågklingan vidrör rotationsbordet
i någon inställning. Dra ur stickproppen och luta sågklingan manuellt i 45° och 90°. Justera såghuvudet om
det behövs.
3. Om du inte förstår hur sågen ska hanteras bör du be någon kunnig person om råd.
4. Såga inte på fri hand. Fixera ämnet säkert mot anslaget på lämpligt sätt innan du börjar såga. Om ämnet
som du sågar kräver att du har ena handen så nära klingan som ca 10 cm ska du alltid låsa ämnet i läge
med en tving etc. innan sågning.
5. Varning! Håll händerna borta från sågklingan. Såga aldrig små bitar. Använd påskjutare.
6. Kontrollera att klingan är väl centrerad och vass samt löper fritt och utan vibrationer.
7. Låt motorn komma upp i varv innan du börjar såga.
8. Håll motorns ventilationsöppningar rena och fria från spån.
9. Se alltid till att alla tvingskruvar är åtdragna innan du börjar såga, även om bordet är fixerat i fast vinkelläge.
10. Se till att klingan och flänsarna är rena och att spindelmuttern är åtdragen, använd endast de klingflänsar
som hör till just din såg.
11. Klyvkniven ska ha en radie som motsvarar sågklingans diameter.
12. Använd endast sågklingor med diameter, hastighetsklassning och övriga data som anges i maskinens
tekniska specifikation.
13. Ordna lämpligt stöd vid sågning av långa ämnen.
14. Kontrollera alltid före sågning att klingan inte är spräckt eller skadad. Byt omedelbart ut en sådan klinga.
15. Använd inte sågen om någon komponent till sågen fattas, är skadad eller fungerar felaktigt. Dra ur
stickproppen till sågen om den börjar låta konstigt eller vibrera. Låt en fackman byta ut den komponent som
fattas eller inte fungerar innan du använder sågen igen.
16. Såga aldrig om skydden inte sitter på plats och fungerar problemfritt.
17. Sträck dig aldrig runt eller bakom klingan när den roterar. Stå stadigt så att du alltid kan behålla balansen.
18. Kontrollera att klingan kan rotera fritt (särskilt efter transport och/eller klingbyte) innan du sätter i stickproppen och startar sågen.
19. Använd inte snabbstålklingor (HSS) om maskinen levereras med hårdmetallklinga.

20. Släpp strömbrytaren och vänta tills klingan stannat innan du flyttar ämnet eller ändrar någon inställning.
21. Ta inte bort fastnade eller avkapade bitar förrän klingan har stannat.
22. Såga aldrig i järnhaltiga metalle, tegel eller murbruk.
23. Använd aldrig sågen i närheten av lättantändliga gaser eller vätskor.
24. Rengör aldrig sågens plastdelar med lösningsmedel. Lösningsmedlen kan lösa upp plasten eller skada
materialet på annat sätt, rengör endast med en mjuk och fuktad trasa.
25. Dra ur nätsladdens stickpropp och gör ren sågen innan du lämnar den. Se till att arbetsytan är städad när
du avslutar arbetet.
26. Spara denna bruksanvisning. Se till att alla personer som använder sågen läser dessa instruktioner.
27. Utsätt inte sågen för regn och använd den inte i fuktig miljö.

28. Ordna god belysning på arbetsplatsen.
29. Använd lämpliga arbetskläder, löst hängande kläder eller smycken kan fastna i roterande delar.
30. Användare ska vara minst 18 år. Användare som är 16 år ska has under uppsikt av instruktör vid
användning av sågen. Håll barn borta från sågen när den är ansluten till eluttag.
31. Håll ordning på din arbetsplats, låt inte avkap eller annat skräp ligga framme i onödan.
Se till att spillbitarna kan avlägsnas från sågklingan, de kan annars kastas iväg av sågklingan.
32. Distrahera inte personer som arbetar med sågen.
33. Försök inte att stanna klingan genom att trycka något emot klingans sida när du har stängt av strömmen till sågen.
34. Använd aldrig sågklingor som inte överensstämmer med specifikationer i denna manual.
35. Det är viktigt att alltid kontrollera att alla skydd som täcker sågklingan fungerar bra.
36. Lås aldrig fast skyddshuven i öppet läge och demontera aldrig maskinens skydd och ändra inte deras funktion.
Använd aldrig en skadad eller felaktig säkerhetsanordning, byt ut omedelbart.
37. Se till att placera händerna på ett säkert sätt, så att de inte åker in i sågklingan om du tappar balansen.
Såga aldrig ämnen som är så små att de inte går att hålla i på ett säkert sätt.
38. Använd ett bord, rullstöd etc. som stöd när du arbetar med långa arbetsstycken, så att inte maskinen tippar.
39. Spänn fast runda arbetsstycken med lämpliga anordningar, så att de inte kan rotera.
40. Det får aldrig vara spikar eller andra främmande delar i ämnet som ska sågas.
41. Stå alltid vid sidan av sågklingan när maskinen används, så att inte du träffas av klingan om den går sönder.
42. Tryck alltid arbetsstycket mot bordet och anhållet vid sågning så att det inte kan vrida sig eller röra sig under sågningen.
43. Såga aldrig flera arbetsstycken samtidigt.
44. Försök aldrig att ta bort spån, flisor eller trä som har fastnat när sågklingan roterar. Om du ska justera
maskinen eller ta bort bitar som har fastnat, stäng alltid av maskinen först och dra ur nätsladdens stickpropp.
45. Om du ska ändra, justera eller rengöra maskinen eller mäta arbetsstycket, stäng alltid av maskinen först och
dra ur nätsladdens stickpropp.
46. Stäng av motorn och dra ur nätsladdens stickpropp när du lämnar din arbetsplats.
47. Elinstallation, reparation eller underhåll ska endast utföras av yrkesman.
48. Alla skydd och säkerhetsanordningar ska återmonteras omedelbart efter reparation eller underhåll.
49. Det är viktigt att följa tillverkarens säkerhets-, användnings- och underhållsanvisningar, likaväl som att följa
de dimensionsanvisningar som anges i de tekniska specifikationerna.
50. Det är nödvändigt att följa arbetsmiljöverkets regler likaväl som andra generella säkerhetsregler.
51. Använd endast maskinen med spånutsugning i stängt rum (om rummet har tilluftsanslutning) för att undvika
vakuum i rummet.
52. Sågen ska endast anslutas till uttag med 230 V som är säkrat med min. 10 A.
53. Skadade säkerhetsanordningar och delar ska bytas ut eller repareras av kvalificerad yrkesman.
54. Denna maskin överensstämmer med alla relevanta säkerhetsbestämmelser. Maskinen får endast repareras
av kvalificerad yrkesman med originaldelar. Om du inte följer denna regel kan det leda till olyckstillbud och
utsätta användaren för fara.
55. Använd inte sågklingor som är tjockare eller tunnare än klyvkniven (gäller cirkelsågar).
56. Använd alltid klyvkniv vid klyvning.
57. Kontrollera att klyvkniven är rätt justerad: Avståndet mellan sågklingans tänder och klyvkniven ska vara max 5 mm.
