6. To use another attachment: a. Attach the adapter (14) to the pistol grip (5) (see Illustration 3).
b. Attach one of the attachments (car wash brush, turbo lance, terrace
cleaner, or drain & pipe cleaner) to the adapter as follows: Press the holder of the attachment into the bayonet connection on the pistol grip (5) and turn clockwise until it locks. Do this before beginning to use the high pressure cleaner and attachments. Caution: Make sure that the attachment is secure in the lance or it may be forcefully expelled from the lance.
7. Connect a garden hose (not included) to a water supply and to the connection for incoming water (4). Use a threaded connection or a quick connection.
The connection for incoming water (4) is factory tted with a lter for removing
sand and other pollutants that may damage the pump vents.
8. Press the trigger and release any air until the water ows.
Caution: The temperature of the incoming water must not exceed 40°C. Let
the water run for a while before starting if the hose has been lying in the sun and is warm. The high pressure cleaner must always be used in an upright/ vertical position. Never use it lying down.
Caution: Make sure there are no people or pets within the risk zone of 15 m
from the nozzle before assembly continues. The high pressure cleaner must be used in an upright/vertical position; use the high pressure cleaner standing up.
9. Make sure that the garden hose is intact and fastened at both ends. Turn the tap all the way on (or enough that the water supply is sufcient for the high pressure cleaner.)
10. Connect the mains cable to a socket, press the pistol grip trigger, aim the lance in a safe direction, and turn on the motor with the power switch (1).
EN GL IS H
If water is taken from a tank or similar without natural pressure, the pump and inow of those must be lled with water before the pump is started. The tank must be at a higher level than the high pressure cleaner. If the water is polluted or cloudy, an inow lter must be installed on the hose’s inow.
Attention: The recommended distance between the nozzle and surface to be washed is approximately 30 cm. Shorter distances provide higher cleaning power and may damage the surface being cleaned. Longer distances provide softer cleaning of fragile surfaces.
9
EN GL IS H
Do not place the connection cable on a pavement, cycle lane, etc, exposing it to damage.
Caution: Do not use a shorter connection hose than 6 m (1/2 inch hose). The hose absorbs any pressure surges in the water line and protects the high pressure cleaner, making it work more softly.
Narrow beam
Caution: When the water sprays out from the lance, a recoil effect occurs on the lance. Therefore, make sure that you hold it steadily with both hands and that you stand rmly.
Never aim the water jet at people or animals or against the high pressure cleaner or any electrical equipment.
Use protective goggles, as water and particles may be kicked back when you aim the water stream at an object.
Caution: Turn off the high pressure cleaner during a long pause in your work. Do not leave the machine switched on without supervision. Activate the safety lock at the trigger.
Wide beam
5.3 Adjustment of the nozzle
(The turbo lance cannot be adjusted)
Make sure that the high pressure cleaner is correctly assembled. Aim the lance at the surface to be washed, press the trigger and turn on the motor with the power switch (1). Set to narrow or wide beam by turning the nozzle.
LOW <---> HIGH

5.4 Use with detergent
The high pressure cleaner is equipped with a tank for detergent. Remove the rubber lid on the tank and add detergent (dilute according to the recommendations of the manufacturer,) replace the rubber lid.
The absorption of detergent only works with the lance with an adjustable nozzle (7) and the car wash brush (10). When using the brush, the detergent will be added continuously and the nozzle is controlled as follows:
• Press the nozzle of the lance to use the lance for high pressure cleaning. No detergent is added from the tank (HIGH).
• Pull off the nozzle of the lance to use the lance when adding detergent (LOW).

5.5 Adjustment of the terrace cleaner
The terrace cleaner has two possible adjustments:
• Raising and lowering the nozzles by releasing a lock and adjusting to the desired height.
• Adjusting the pressure with the lever

5.6 Switch off after use
1. Press the power switch.
2. Turn off the tap.
3. Reduce the pressure on the remaining water in the pump and hose by pressing the trigger for a few seconds, or until the water has run out of the nozzle.
4. Unplug the hose.
5.7 Storage
Make sure the inow lter in the connection for incoming water (4) and the nozzle are cleaned before the high pressure cleaner is put away in storage. Store the high pressure cleaner in a dry and frost-free place out of reach of children and other people who have not read the operations manual.
Disconnect the cable and lance and store them with the high pressure cleaner. Avoid storing the high pressure cleaner in temperatures below 5°C or above 40°C.
Attention: Protect the high pressure cleaner from frost. Make sure that it is completely empty before it is put away for storage.
Caution: Never run the high pressure cleaner dry, as the pump’s seals may be damaged.
Remember that the high pressure cleaner can be pressurised also when switched off. Depressurise it by pressing the trigger before disconnecting the hoses. Disconnection of the high pressure hose while the system is pressurised may be dangerous.
Caution: Never look straight into the nozzle if the plug is still in the socket and if the high pressure cleaner is not switched off and depressurised. Preferably remove the lance from the pistol grip.
6. Care and maintenance
Caution! Turn the pressure washer off and pull out the plug before servicing or adjusting the machine!
It is important that the inow lter (4) is cleaned regularly if the pressure washer is to function properly. The lter should be removed and cleaned to precent dirt in the water from damaging the pump and seals. The nozzle must also be cleaned regularly or when it is not working properly.
• Check that the nozzle is open, carefully remove dirt and deposits; rinse with clean water.
• Clean the inow lter after use: Loosen the hose from the connection, remove the lter with pliers, and clean when necessary and replace the lter.
• Protect the pressure cleaner against frost, empty it completely.*
* Start the pump and let it run for 30 seconds in order to empty completely.

• The power switch is in the "OFF" position.
• The machine may be pressurised, press the trigger on the pistol handle.
Problem: The pump provides too low pressure
• A blocked/worn nozzle, clean or replace.
• Poor water supply, check: a 10-litre bucket should be lled in one minute from the hose.

EN GL IS H
Problem: The pump has stopped
• The fuses have blown, check them.
• Extension cable is too long, try without extension cable.
• Overheating due to poor water supply. The inow lter may be blocked. Test the water supply: a 10-litre bucket should be lled in one minute from the hose.
Problem: no water coming out of the nozzle or not enough water.
• The pump is not sucking in water. Press the trigger and release any air and check that the suction hose is lled with water. The high pressure cleaner must be used in an upright, vertical position. Do not use it lying down.
• Dirt in the pump, clean.
• The inow or outow vent is damaged, contact our Customer Service Department.
Problem: Unable to press the trigger
