USING THE PIPE FLARING KIT
Single Flared Joints
1. Put the pipe into the flaring block.
2. Place the flaring tool over the flaring
block and position the cone into the
pipe as shown in Fig 2.
3. Gradually wind the cone downwards,
the pipe will be flared to an angle of
45o. See Fig 3

USING THE PIPE FLARING KIT
Fitting the Pipe
1. Loosen the wing nuts on the flaring
block.
2. Put the pipe into the corresponding
hole.
3. The top of the pipe should be 0.5 mm
above the top of the flaring block. See
Fig 1.
4. Tighten the wing nuts to lock the pipe
in place.
Double Flared Joints
1. Put the pipe into the flaring block.
2. Place the corresponding sized collet in
to the pipe.
3. Place the flaring tool over the flaring
block and position the cone into the
top of the collet.
4. Gradually wind the cone downwards
until the pipe looks like Fig 4.
5. Loosen the flaring tool and remove the
collet.
6. Wind the flaring tool cone into the pipe

and slowly tighten to complete the
double flare. See Fig 5
