Before using this watch
Band adjustment
We recommend seeking the assistance of an experienced watch technician for sizing of your watch. If adjustment is not done correctly, the bracelet may unexpectedly become detached leading to loss of your watch or injury.

Protective stickers
Be sure to remove any stickers covering the metal parts (back cover, band, clasp) or glass of the watch before use. Otherwise, perspiration or moisture may enter the gaps between the protective stickers and the parts, which may result in a skin rash and/or corrosion of the metal parts.
How to use a specially designed crown/push button
Some models are equipped with a specially designed crown and/or push button to prevent accidental operation.

Unlock the crown prior to operate your watch.

Rotate the crown counterclockwise until it releases from the case.
Rotate the locking screw counterclockwise, and loosen until it stops.
Recessed buttons
Press the button with a narrow-tipped object such as a wooden toothpick.
• Metal objects may cause marring or scratching of the button.
Before using this watch
Push the crown in to the case. With gentle pressure towards the case, rotate the crown clockwise to secure it to the case. Be sure to tighten fi rml y.
Rotate the locking screw clockwise, and tighten firmly.

Features
Eco-drive
• Eco-drive is a unique technology of Citizen that uses light to generate power, thus eliminating the need for periodic battery replacement.
12 o'clock midnight sharp calendar update function
• The calendar updates as the clock strikes midnight (0:00:00).
Annual time accuracy: ±5 seconds
• This high-precision watch realized an annual time difference of about ±5 seconds max.
Time difference correction function
• When you travel overseas, you can easily adjust your watch to the local time without having to stop the watch.
Perpetual calendar
• No need for date correction at the end of each month. The leap year is also updated automatically. (until February 28th, 2100)

Features
JIS1 antimagnetic performance
• The functionality of the watch will be maintained even when the watch is
brought as close as up to 5 cm of the devices that emit magnetic fields in daily life. For details, see our website support information.
Shock detection function
• This function prevents the second, minute, and hour hands from becoming
misaligned should the watch be subjected to shock.
Automatic hand position adjustment function
• The hand positions are checked at regular intervals. Any misalignment detected
will be corrected immediately to keep accurate time.
Power reserve indication function

The hand shows the current charge level.
A010: This watch is equipped with a hand to indicate the charge level. Use the
hand to check the current charge level.
A060: By pressing the button, the second hand indicates the current charge
level.

This watch has a rechargeable cell which is charged by exposing the dial to light such as direct sunlight or fluorescent lamps.

• When the battery is fully charged, the overcharge protection function stops the charging so that the watch performance and rechargeable cell are not adversely affected by overcharge.
Your watch will run for approximately 7 months from a full charge or up to 1.5 years with the power save feature engaged (based on a full charge). After the second hand starts moving once every two seconds, it will last for approximately 3 days.
