This microphone (which may also be identified as the mechanically
identical MK 250) is suitable for use with the CEL-593, CEL-573,
CEL-553, CEL-440, CEL-480, CEL-268 and CEL-262 measuring
instruments which have arrangements to suppress or disconnect the
200 V polarization supply required by standard condenser microphones.
The microphone can be used with other sound level meters that meet
the measurement requirements of IEC 651 Type 1, provided the
polarization voltage has been disconnected.
Warning !
Use this microphone with sound level meters
such as the CEL-266, CEL-275, CEL-414 and
CEL-493* ONLY WHEN connected via a
C6601/X Preamplifier Extension Cable which
has no polarization voltage connection.
