t Application and Design
The Model EARA and EHRA are UL Classified for installation in walls, floors and partitions with a fire rating of less than 3 hours. This damper may be installed vertically or horizontally in static systems (EARA) that shut down in the event of fire or dynamic systems (EHRA) that continue to operate in the event of fire.

Frame: roll formed frame, galv. steel, integral sleeve Blades: double thickness, galvanized steel, welded Axles: 3/8” square plated steel Jackshaft: 1/2” diameter plated steel Bearings: bronze oilite press-fit into frame Spring: stainless steel Fusible Link - UL-33: UL listed 165°F (standard),
212°F (optional) Retaining Plates: 2-20 ga. galvanized steel with angle clips (factory installed)
Maximum Velocity: 2000 fpm (10.2 m/s) Maximum Pressure: 4” w.c. (1kPa)
Model EARA and EHRA meets or complies with the following as a fire damper: All major building codes, including IBC/ICC International Code UL 555 Listing 1-1/2 hour - File #R25410 ULC S112 NFPA 90A, 80
Note: Dampers are furnished approx. 1/8” smaller than given duct dimensions.
Note: The jackshaft permits operation by any standard locking quadrant, electric or pneumatic actuator.

PERFORMANCE DATA
Pressure drop testing was done by an independent laboratory to the AMCA Standard 500-D, Fig. 5.3 ductwork upstream and downstream.
Leakage obtained in test of 8” diameter and 24” diameter was less than 1 CFM/sq. ft.
