Model EAJA - Type A Multi Blade Fire Damper, Airfoil Blade
UL 555 Classified 1-1/2 and 3 Hours, For Use in Static Systems
t Application and Design
The Model EAJA is UL Classified for installation in walls,
floors and partitions with a fire rating of less than 3 hours.
This damper may be installed vertically or horizontally in
static HVAC systems that automatically shut down in the
event of fire.
Standard Construction:
Frame: 5” roll formed frame, galvanized steel hat-
section w/staked corners and integral bracing
Blades: airfoil-shaped roll formed, double skin,
galvanized steel, min. width 5”, max. width 7”
Axles: square plated steel
Linkage: concealed in frame, linkage bars are 1/8”
Bearings: bronze oilite press-fit into frame
Closure Spring: stainless steel
Fusible Link - UL-33: UL listed 165°F (standard),
212°F (optional)
Model EAJA meets or complies with the following
as a fire damper:

Multi-section, EFL or PFV options will require
actuators to be installed on the damper.

*Option provides quick and economical way to check damper
operations and also provide a Systematic Closure Control. Option
PFV allow damper operation without the need/cost for an EP valve
and electrical connection at the damper.
