enFlow IV Fluid/Blood Warmer
Quick Reference Guide
enFlow warms blood, blood products, and IV solutions to a pre-set
temperature of 40 °C +/- 2 °C to help prevent hypothermia.
It maintains this temperature at flow rates up to 200 mL/min.

Using enFlow: Five Easy Steps
1. Ensure that the Controller is plugged into a
hospital grade outlet and the Warmer cable
is connected to the front of the Controller.
2. Mount to an IV pole or place on a tabletop.
Switch the Controller to ON with the I/0 (ON/OFF)
switch on the back of the Controller.
3. Connect your IV set to your fluid bag.
Connect the infusion set to the Disposable
Cartridge. Prime the line and then connect
the infusion set to the patient.
4. Open the covers on Warmer by sliding them
apart, place the cartridge inside and close
the covers. Secure the Warmer in the
Warmer Holder on the Controller or on
the bed with the cord clip. Place the IV line in
the IV line clip to prevent it from kinking.

In approximately 18 seconds, the
temperature of the Warmer will reach
O
40
C +/- 2 OC.
5. To stop the fluid warming process, open the
Warmer covers and heating will cease.
Note: You can use a Disposable Cartridge on
the same patient for up to 24 hours. If you are
warming whole blood products, you should
change the Disposable Cartridge according to
your hospital blood protocol.
