AIR PURIFICATION FOR THE NEXT MILLENNIUM
Congratulations for purchasing the finest air purification system in the world. This highly effective air purification system is based upon the same advanced air purification that is recommended and used in hospitals, labs, intensive care units, medically related facilities and by allergists and environmental doctors.
The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS incorporates True HEPA filtration and activated carbon that offers twice the gas reducing capability available in other filters. This unique combination of media is further enhanced by proven germicidal Ultraviolet light, and an innovative “Topflow” air discharge system.
The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS can transform any home or office into an odorless, gasless, virtually germ-free environment. Purifies over 21,000 cubic feet of air per hour.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS is an electrical appliance and operates with 110V AC current so it can easily be plugged into standard wall outlets. As with any electrical appliance care must be taken when cleaning or changing the filters & UV lamps. Never move the unit by pulling or tugging the cord as this may cause fraying and become an electrical hazard.
SAFETY WARNINGS
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT EXPOSE TO RAIN OR
WATER.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT USE THIS
UNIT’S FAN WITH ANY OTHER SOLID STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICE.
ALWAYS UNPLUG UNIT WHEN SERVICING IT.
NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE UV LAMPS WHEN LIT.
IMPORTANT OPERATION INFORMATION
The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS is designed for 24-hour operation to provide maximum air cleaning of your home or office. Dust, germs, chemicals and other toxic contaminants constantly spread throughout your air and need to be continuously removed.
The pre and post filters collect dust and need to be cleaned and replaced periodically. Bacteria, yeasts, and mold are trapped in the HEPA filter and tend to grow. Continuous

running of the filter is necessary to dry out these organisms and keep growth to a minimum. The Ultraviolet system will also keep any microbiologically contaminated air from passing through, but the lamps must be replaced once a year to keep the germicidal level effective.
If for any reason the C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS is not run for a number of weeks or months, then the HEPA filter module, in its entirety, should be changed before starting.

CHOOSE A LOCATION FOR YOUR HOME OR OFFICE
The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS air purification system is a very versatile unit and is designed for home or office use within any room except; near sinks, showers, pools or any other water source. For best results, place the unit at the wall across from the area where the clean air benefits will be the greatest.

The purified air will be directed upward toward the ceiling and will drop down around the total room area pushing any dust, pollen, odors etc. toward the floor and these contaminants are then drawn into the bottom of the unit.

Industry guidelines suggest at least 3 air changes / hour (ACH) for adequate airborne cleaning and allergy control. The C.A.R.E 2000ADS produces 350 cubic feet per minute (CFM) in one hour. The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS will change 21,000 cubic feet per hour at high speed. However, the “Topflow” featured in the C.A.R.E 2000-ADS delivers more actual air changes per hour than other units. The following chart will help you determine how many air changes your unit will provide in a given space.
AIR FLOW PATTERN
The C.A.R.E. 2000-ADS has an adjustable speed setting. We recommend that the unit mains in the low to medium setting speed. For maximum number of air changes (ACH), set the unit to high.
GREEN INDICATOR LIGHT-will remain on when the UV light is operating properly. When the light goes out the UV lamps are not functioning.
RED INDICATOR LIGHT-Goes on when it’s time to change or clean pre-filter or change HEPA filter. Go to the “Clean Prefilter Section” on page 5.
