The camera indicator blinks red under the following circumstances.

Preparations
1.
Charging the Battery.
Charge the battery before use under the following circumstances.
•When using the battery for the firsttime.
•When the “Change the battery pack.” message displays.
1.Insert the battery into the battery charger.
2.Plug the battery charger (CB-2LV) intoa power outlet, orattach the power cord tothe battery charger (CB-2LVE) andplug it intoa power outlet.
•Batterycharger model namesand types vary by region.The charge indicator will light orange while the battery ischarging. Itwill change to green when the charge is complete.Charging takes approximately1 hour 30 minutes.

To Remove the Memory Card
Use a finger to push the memory card in until you hear a click, then
release it.
You can use SD memory cards, SDHC memorycards,MultiMediaCards and MMCpluscards with this camera.These cards are collectively called memory cards in this guide.

Setting the Date/Time

•A rechargeable lithiumbattery isbuilt into the camera tosavesuch settings as the date/time. Thisbatterycharges when the main battery is in the camera. When you purchase the camera, place the main battery in itfor approximately four hours or use AC Adapter KitACK-DC10 (sold separately) tocharge the lithiumbattery.It will charge even if the camera is turned off.
•The date/time settings may be lost after approximatelythree weeks ifyou remove the main battery.Resetthe date/time settings if this occurs.

Reviewing an Image Right After Shooting
After a shotis taken, theimageappearsin the LCD monitor for approximately 2 seconds.You can continue to display images regardless of the review duration setting with the following procedures.

Changing the Delay Time and Number of Shots

Ensure that you install the software first before connecting the
camera to the computer.

port and to the camera’s DIGITAL terminal.
Slip a fingernail under the edge of the camera’s DIGITAL
terminal cover, lift up and plug the interface cable in all the way.
