Canon 2017 hdbook Redemption Terms & Conditions
1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL
PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases made of any of the
products listed below (the “Promotional Products”) within the
United Kingdom (“UK”) or Republic of Ireland (“ROI”) from one of
the participating retailers (“Participating Retailers” – for a full list of
participating retailers please visit canon.co.uk/hdbookoffer or
canon.ie/hdbookoffer) between Wednesday 15th March 2017
and Tuesday 16th May 2017 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).
All other products and retailers are excluded. Purchases must be
genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in
the European Economic Area or Switzerland (“EEA”)
(“Participant”).
1.3. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by
these terms and conditions.
1.4. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned
products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the
intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in
any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or
“grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. To learn

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter the promotion, the Participant must purchase a
Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer during the
Promotional Period AND submit a valid claim online between
00.00 on Wednesday 15th March 2017 and midnight on Friday 16th
June 2017.
2.2. Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing
(including specifying a valid EEA product serial number) a claim
form online, at www.canon.co.uk/hdbookoffer or
www.canon.ie/hdbookoffer. Participants will need to scan,
upload and attach to the online claim form a copy of their
receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases. Participants
will then receive an email confirming that their claim has been
received. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24
hours of processing your claim, or do not have access to a
computer, please contact our Claim Hotline on 0800 044 3251.

2.3. The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks
last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of retailers to fulfill
orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.
2.4. Canon will not process any claims received after the closing date
for receipt of claims of midnight on Friday 16th June 2017. Canon
will not process claims which are in its opinion incomplete or
illegible. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not
successfully received.
2.5. Only one claim per Promotional Product purchased may be
made.
2.6. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any
other promotion.
3. THE REWARD
3.1. The reward is one free 24-page A4 hdbook, printed in High
Definition, on either gloss or luster paper, portrait or landscape
and valued at £59.99 or € 84.99 RRP, including free delivery.
3.2. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, Canon will arrange for
an email to be sent to the Participant. The email will contain a
unique claim code to order one free 24-page A4 hdbook. Each
code is unique and only valid for one transaction.
3.3. Delivery times of the reward are within 5 working days from
receipt of order.
3.4. The unique claim code will be valid until Saturday 16th September
2017.
3.5. If the participants want to add pages to their free 24-page A4
hdbook, they will be charged separately.
3.6. The reward is non-transferable and no cash or credit alternatives
will be substituted for the reward on offer. In the event that the
reward offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our
control, Canon reserves the right to offer an alternative reward of
equal or greater value.
3.7. Canon will endeavor to send their unique code to Participants
within 10 days of receipt of a complete and valid claim.
3.8. Only one code will be issued per valid claim.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd. of Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey,
RH2 8BF.
5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable
for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused,
sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However,

nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or
restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by
the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
5.2. Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this
promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure
compliance with these terms and conditions and to request
additional information and supporting documents. Canon
reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it
suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s
decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
6. DATA
6.1. Any personal data submitted to us will be processed by Canon (UK)
Limited, its agents or associated group companies for the purpose
of administering this Promotion and, if applicable, for marketing
purposes – in cases when Participants have opted-in to receive
marketing communication from Canon. For further details of how we

6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for
marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future
regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “optin” box when completing the claim form.
6.3. The personal data provided is held securely and may be
transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.
7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in
connection with them shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the
non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
