1.1 OUTWARD APPEARANCE OF THE BTL-1100 AND BTL-1200
COUCHES
The therapy couches BTL-1100 and BTL-1200 consist of:
firm welded construction
fixed height
manually adjustable head section tilt
the option to divide the main section of the couch into two parts with manually adjustable mid-section elevation
The couch frame is equipped with height-adjustable plastic leg endings for elimination of surface unevenness. The
fixed main section and adjustable head section are made of chipboard with foam rubber, and the both sections are
covered with leatherette upholstery. The head section of the couch can be supplied with the so-called “nose cut-away”
- removable part for comfortable abdominal position of the patient.

1.3 THE BTL-1100 COUCH CONFIGURATION WITH FOLDING FRAME
The BTL-1100 couch with folding frame is the same as the above-given model. The only difference is that during the
transport, the spacing bar between couch legs is removed, and thus the legs are folded towards the frame. In this
way, the height of the couch is reduced to 20 cm, and it enables its easier transportation and manipulation. When the
couch is unpacked, it is necessary to straighten its legs, insert the spacing bar between them, and fix it by the
supplied screws.

1.4 CONTROL UNITS
manual adjustment of the head section tilt (two fixed locking levers)
To adjust the head section upwards or downwards, push the locking levers towards the head section and release
them when the desired angle is reached.
manual adjustment of the mid-section elevation - 3-section couch configuration (two levers placed in the middle of
the couch)
To adjust the mid-section of the couch, especially downwards, it is necessary to hold this section before
releasing the levers.
1.5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wash the upholstery with a detergent. For disinfection, use for example 10% Persteril. Do not use acetone-based
substances!
1.6 SAFETY MEASURES
When adjusting the head section tilt or mid-section elevation, it is necessary to hold firmly the head section or midsection before releasing the locking levers to avoid uncontrolled movement of the couch and possible injury of the
personnel.
1.7 WARRANTY
The product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of
shipment. In case of any malfunction, contact your BTL distributor. The manufacturer will at its option repair or replace
components which prove to be defective during the warranty period provided that the product is used in accordance
with the manual. Should the product be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, it must be sent
carriage paid.
