Main Features
1/ Laser Printer
Outstanding performance is certain, thanks to
print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute*. A
printing resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dots per
inch also assures you of professional quality.
Brother provides 16MB of standard memory in
the MFC-7220. GDI emulation is installed, and
the choice of parallel, Full-Speed USB 2.0 and
optional network means connectivity isn’t an
issue.
Automatic Document Feeder
For easy faxing of multi-page documents
2/ Laser Fax
For convenience, you can fax a range of
documents using the up to 20 sheet**
Automatic Document Feeder. A combined ‘out
of paper’ and ‘fax transmission’ memory facility
allows up to 400 pages to be stored†. With 10
one-touch numbers, 200 speed dial numbers
and a further 260 broadcast locations, dialling is
both quick and easy.
3/ Laser Digital Copier
The performance as a desktop copier is
consistently impressive. The Automatic
Document Feeder is capable of handling up to
20 A4 sheets**, removing the need to stand
over the machine changing page after page of
your original. Up to 99 copies can be generated
at one time, and stack and sort functions
eliminate the need for rearranging or handcollating. In addition to this, the ability to reduce
or enlarge documents between 50% and 200%
affords you the copying versatility you have
come to expect from Brother.
4/ Digital Black and White Scanner
With a resolution of up to 200 x 400 dots per
inch, you can be reassured that scan quality is
not compromised. Multiple page scans can be
generated using the Automatic Document
Feeder and the ‘Scan’ key offers flexibility by
enabling you to scan directly to OCR, E-mail,
Image or File.
5/ PC Fax
This feature allows the user to send faxes from
any desktop application in either Windows®or
Mac®network environmentq, as easily as
sending a print job. In addition, the user can

A LCD and backlit function key makes it easy to see the status of
the MFC-7220 and identify which function is selected
broadcast the same document to multiple Fax
numbers using Brother PC Fax address book.
6/ Telephone Handset
A telephone handset is provided to ensure
convenience and a fully integrated office solution.

Brother has simultaneous operation, therefore
enabling you to print whilst sending a fax or
begin scanning while a document is being
printed.
