In order to avoid a hazard due to
inadvertent resetting of the thermal
cut-out, this appliance must not be
supplied through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected
to a circuit that is regularly switched on
and off by the utility.

Do not use the device without any load
in the jug.
•
Do not store food or liquids in any
container.
•
Avoid bumping or dropping the blender
when in operation or at any time.
•
To avoid damage, do not fi ll the
containers past the “max” marking or
scale.

Before First Use
Clean all parts before using the blender for the fi rst
time – refer to «Care and Cleaning».
(A) Jug
Caution: Do not blend ingredients hotter than 70°C
in the jug.
The jug is perfectly suited for
• blending smoothies, liquids, sauces, fruit juices
and soups
For detailed processing instructions refer to table I.
Maximum operation time for the jug is 90 seconds
at a time. When processing heavy loads let it cool
down to room temperature for next operation.
The blender is equipped with a motor protection
which protects the motor from overheating. If the
motor shuts down during the performance switch
off , unplug and let it cool down for 30 minutes before continuing blending.
(B) Smoothie2Go Attachment
Caution: Do not blend ingredients hotter than 30°C
in the Smoothie2Go attachment.
The Smoothie2Go attachment is perfectly suited
for preparing drinks and smoothies. For detailed
processing instructions refer to table II.
(C) Chopper Attachment
The chopper attachment is perfectly suited for
Chopping vegetables, hard cheese, onions, herbs,
meat and nuts. For detailed processing instructions
refer to table III.

The chopper attachment can also be used to make
a pancake stuffi ng or spread. Fill the chopper with
30 g pitted prunes and pulse for 2 seconds.
(D) Grinder Attachment
The grinder attachment is perfectly suited for
grinding dry ingredients. For detailed processing
instructions refer to table IV.
Pulse Mode / Ice Crush
The pulse mode can be used to break apart larger
pieces of food, to crush ice or to control the texture
of food when chopping. Duration depends on how
long you hold the switch in pulse position.
For Best Results
• When mixing solid ingredients, cut them up into
small pieces.
• If blending action is not suffi cient during blending
there may be not enough liquid to blend effi ciently.
• For preparing small amounts of foodstuff use a
low speed level.
• When preparing mayonnaise, oil can be added
through the openings between the measuring
cap and the lid.
• For soft or pasty foodstuff start on speed I for the
fi rst seconds then change to speed II for further
processing.
