La sécurité d'abord

Il est impératif de respecter les recomman­dations suivantes. Nous déclinons toute
responsabilité et garantie en cas de non­respect de ces recommandations pouvant
entraîner des dégâts matériels ou corpo­rels.

Utilisation

• Cet appareil a uniquement été conçu
pour laver, rincer ou essorer des texti­les arborant le label lavable en machi­ne.

• N'utiliser que des lessives, des produits
d'entretien et des additifs appropriés à
un lavage en machine.

• Il est impératif de respecter les consi­gnes d'entretien du linge et les instruc­tions des fabricants de lessive.

Consignes de sécurité

• Ne raccorder l'appareil qu'à une prise
de courant de sécurité efficacement
protégée et installée conformément à
la réglementation en vigueur.

Le tuyau d'arrivée d'eau avec "Aqua-

stop PLUS" (selon le modèle) com­prend des éléments sous tension. Ne
pas endommager le tuyau d'arrivée
d'eau ni le système "Aquastop PLUS" !
Risque d'électrocution !

• Les tuyaux d'arrivée et d'évacuation de
l'eau doivent être bien arrimés et tou­jours en excellent état.

Si l'eau s'évacue dans le lavabo ou la

baignoire, ne pas les utiliser pendant
le fonctionnement de la machine. Le
lavage à haute température peut pro­voquer des brûlures !

avant tout nettoyage de l'appareil.

• Ne jamais manipuler la prise du cor­don d'alimentation électrique avec des
mains humides ! Ne jamais tirer direc­tement sur le câble mais sur la fiche
mâle de l'appareil.

Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le cordon

sont défectueux ou si la machine est

non résolues grâce aux indications de

Éteindre l'appareil, débrancher la pri­se du cordon d'alimentation électri­que, fermer le robinet d'arrivée d'eau
et contacter le service après-vente.

Que faire de votre ancienne
machine ?

Soyez respectueux de l'environnement.

• Renseignez-vous auprès de votre re­vendeur ou des services techniques de
votre ville sur les possibilités de mise
au rebut de votre ancienne machine.

Avant de remettre votre machine aux

encombrants, la débrancher, couper
le cordon d'alimentation au ras de
l'appareil et rendre le dispositif de fer­meture de la porte inutilisable – afin
de limiter les risques pour les enfants.

Installation

Démontage des sécurités de
transport

Avant la première mise en marche de

A

l'appareil, retirer impérativement les
sécurités de transport ! L'appareil subi­rait sinon des dommages pendant son
fonctionnement.

Outils nécessaires :
Clé polygonale ou clé tubulaire de 13 mm.

1. Desserrer les trois vis A avec la clé jus-

qu'à ce qu'elles puissent être tournées
à la main.

2. Faire glisser les vis A sur le côté et les

retirer avec leur douille d'écartement ;
déposer la traverse B (s'il y en a une).

3. Poser les trois capuchons C (du sachet

livré avec la machine) sur les ouvertu­res de la face arrière de l'appareil et les
enfoncer à l'aide d'un outil (p. ex. un
tournevis).

Veuillez conserver les sécurités de trans­port.

• Vous en aurez besoin en cas de trans­port ultérieur de la machine (par ex.
lors d'un déménagement)!

Ne transportez jamais la machine sans

A

ces sécurités !

Emplacement de montage correct

Placez la machine sur un sol stable et hori­zontal dans un endroit hors-gel.

En cas de risque de gel, évacuer abso-

A

lument l'eau résiduelle (voir "Nettoya­ge et entretien").

Le sol doit pouvoir supporter le poids

A

de la machine en service !
Si p. ex. vous superposez au lave-linge
un sèche-linge, ceux-ci peuvent at­teindre – avec leur charge – un poids
total de 160 kg.

En cas d'installation sur un socle :

A

Prévoir des logements pour les pieds
avant de l'appareil afin la machine ne
tombe pas pendant l'essorage. (Réfé­rence pièce détachée pour le service
après-vente 0005323700)

Important :

• Ne pas poser l'appareil sur le cordon
d'alimentation.

• Laisser un espace d'au moins 1 cm en­tre la machine et les cloisons ou
d'autres meubles.

• N'installer la machine que sur un sol
dur, et non sur une moquette ou un
tapis à poils longs.

Changer le sens d'ouverture de
porte

Si vous souhaitez ouvrir la porte dans
l'autre sens, vous pouvez faire échanger la
charnière et le verrou de porte par le servi­ce après -vente.

Encastrement

La machine peut être encastrée sous un
plan de travail. Une tôle de protection est
alors nécessaire (Référence pièce détachée
pour le service après-vente
ET 9.38.662.31).

Seul un personnel qualifié et autorisé

A

peut effectuer ce travail.

Pour faciliter un éventuel déplacement de
la machine, nous vous recommandons par
ailleurs de placer deux plaques de glisse­ment sous les pieds de la machine.

Mise en place de la machine

Outils nécessaires :
Clé à fourche de 17 mm, niveau à bulle
d'air.

1. Desserrer les contre-écrous des pieds
de la machine avec la clé.

• Ne pas raccorder la machine à un gé­nérateur d'eau chaude (chauffe-eau
instantané ou exempt de pression) car
la pression serait alors insuffisante.

• Les rallonges de tuyau sont à deman­der au service après-vente. Ne pas uti­liser de rallonges bricolées avec des
colliers de serrage ou autres !

• N'employer que le tuyau neuf livré avec
la machine, et non un tuyau usagé !

• Veiller à ce que le tuyau posé ne soit
pas plié !

Outils nécessaires :
Aucun. (Ne pas utiliser de pince à tuyaux !)

1. Au cas où le tuyau d'arrivée d'eau n'est
pas encore monté, visser l'extrémité
coudée fermement à la main au dos
de la machine.

2. Visser fermement à la main l'autre ex­trémité du tuyau au robinet d'arrivée
d'eau.

2. Ajuster les pieds de façon à ce que la
machine soit horizontale et stable.

3. Important : Resserrer à fond tous les
contre-écrous avec la clé.

Raccordement de l'arrivée d'eau

Il est possible de raccorder l'appareil aux
robinets d'arrivée d'eau présentant un nez
fileté de 3/4 de pouce.

Important :

• Prendre en considération la pression
d'eau admissible (voir "Caractéristi­ques techniques"). Monter un
manodétendeur lorsque la pression de
l'eau est trop importante.

Aquastop /
Aquastop PLUS

Le système "Aquastop" ou "Aquastop

PLUS" (selon le modèle) ferme l'arrivée
d'eau en cas d'inétanchéité.

3. Ouvrir entièrement le robinet d'arrivée
d'eau et vérifier l'étanchéité des rac­cords ; refermer le robinet. Resserrer
les raccords filetés et réajuster les
joints si nécessaire.

Raccordement de la vidange d'eau

Vous pouvez accrocher le tuyau d'évacua­tion sur le bord d'un évier, d'un lavabo ou
d'une baignoire – ou le raccorder directe­ment au système d'écoulement des eaux
(siphon).

Important :

• Poser le tuyau de vidange à moins de
100 cm du sol afin que la pompe de
vidange puisse fonctionner correcte­ment.

• L'eau doit pouvoir s'écouler sans obs­tacle. Les lavabos avec une vidange de
faible diamètre sont inadaptés.

• L'extrémité du tuyau de vidange ne
doit pas tremper dans l'eau évacuée.

• Les rallonges de tuyau sont à deman­der au service après-vente. Ne pas uti­liser de rallonges bricolées avec des
colliers de serrage ou autres !

• N'employer que le tuyau neuf livré avec
la machine, et non un tuyau usagé !

• Veiller à ce que le tuyau posé ne soit
pas plié !

Fixation du support à tuyau :

1. Fixer l'extrémité du tuyau sur le coude
en plastique fourni avec l'appareil.

2. Suspendre le tuyau d'évacuation équi­pé de son support par-dessus le bord
de l'évier ou de la baignoire et le fixer
dans cette position pour l'empêcher
de glisser – par exemple en l'enchaî­nant au robinet.

Raccordement fixe à un siphon :

Il est recommandé de s'adresser à un

installateur sanitaire pour effectuer ce
raccordement afin d'empêcher que le
tuyau ne glisse. Risque d'inondation !

• Relier le tuyau d'évacuation au siphon
à l'aide du flexible en caoutchouc four-

ni et renforcer le branchement à l'aide
de deux colliers de serrage. Ces col­liers de serrage sont en vente dans les
magasins spécialisés.

Branchement électrique

Ne raccorder l'appareil qu'à une prise de
courant de sécurité efficacement protégée
et installée conformément à la ré­glementation en vigueur.
Important :

• Le branchement doit répondre aux
normes du pays et aux prescriptions
de l'entreprise d'électricité (EDF pour
la France).

• La prise de courant doit rester accessi­ble une fois la machine installée.

• Un interrupteur principal avec au
moins 3 mm d'écart de contact doit
être utilisé pour un branchement dé­finitif.

• La tension et la protection par fusibles
de l'appareil sont indiquées sur la pla­que signalétique au dos de l'appareil.

Notez le modèle et numéro d'identi-

fication de l'appareil indiqués sur la
plaque signalétique au cas où vous de­vriez avoir recours au service après­vente.

• La tension indiquée doit correspondre
à la tension d'alimentation.

• L'utilisation d'un câble de rallonge ou
d'une multiprise est interdite.

• Le sélecteur de programme doit être
positionné sur »Stop« lors du branche­ment.

Le câble doit être remplacé par un

électricien qualifié lorsqu'il est endom­magé. Ne pas utiliser l'appareil avant
réparation du câble ! Risque d'électro­cution !

Première utilisation

Si un signal se fait entendre ou s'il est

impossible de raccorder la machine,
voir "Problèmes et dérangements".

• Une fois l'appareil installé, veuillez ré­gler l'heure, voir "Réglage de l'heure".

• Pour modifier la langue des messages
affichés, voir "Modifier la langue de
l'afficheur".

Effectuer le premier cycle de lavage sans
linge afin d'évacuer l'eau résiduelle due
aux essais effectués lors des contrôles de
fabrication:

1. Ouvrir complètement le robinet d'arri­vée d'eau. Contrôler que les tuyaux
sont bien fixés.

2. Vérifier que le tambour est bien vide ;
fermer la porte de remplissage.

3. Insérer un peu de lessive dans le
compartiment II ; fermer le bac à pro­duits.

4. Positionner le sélecteur de programme
sur »Blanc/Coton 60 °C«.
Tourner le sélecteur d'essorage de
façon à ce que la vitesse de rotation
(sur la gauche de l'afficheur) indique la
valeur maximale.

5. Enfoncer le bouton »Départ/Pause«

Préparatifs avant le lavage

Tri du linge

• Trier le linge par catégorie (matériau),
couleur, degré de salissure et par tem­pérature de lavage tolérée.

Synthétique (polyester, polyamide) ; tis­sus mélangés (avec coton)

Lavage à la main : Ne pas laver :

• Ne pas laver ensemble linge blanc et
linge de couleur ! Les articles neufs de
couleur sombre déteignent beaucoup.

Préparation du linge

Le linge comportant des pièces métal-

A

liques (soutiens-gorges avec armature
métallique, fermoirs de ceintures, bou­tons en métal, etc.) peuvent endom­mager la machine. Retirer ces élé­ments en métal ou placer le linge dans
un sac à linge ou autre !

• Vider les poches, retirer tous les objets
(pièces de monnaie, stylos, trombo­nes). Enfermer le linge de petite taille
(socquettes de bébé, collants) dans un
sac à linge ou autre.

• Traiter les voilages très soigneusement !
Retirer galets oxydables et rubans de
plomb. Enfermer les galets qui n'ont
pas été retirés dans un sac à linge ou
autre.

• Fermer les fermetures à glissière, cou­dre les boutons mal cousus, recoudre
les coutures défaites et raccommoder
les déchirures.

• Ne laver que les lainages arborant le
symbole "lavable en machine", "ne ré­trécit pas" ou "lavable à la main" – et
uniquement avec le programme ap­proprié.

• Laver séparément les articles de cou­leur neufs – ils pourraient dégorger.

• Prétraiter les fortes salissures. En cas de
doute, demander conseil dans une
droguerie ou un pressing.

• N'employer que des teintures, agents
décolorants ou adoucisseurs utilisables
en machine. Respecter impérative­ment les consignes mentionnées sur
l'emballage !

• Pour ouvrir, appuyer sur le bouton si­tué au-dessus de la porte.

• Introduire le linge sans le tasser dans le
tambour ; y ajouter éventuellement la
lessive (dans un sachet-doseur ou une
boule diffuseuse).

• Fermer la porte en appuyant forte­ment jusqu'à ce qu'un déclic se fasse
entendre. Veiller à ce qu'aucun textile
ne soit coincé.

Lessive et produits d'entretien

Bac à produits

Le bac à produits est constitué de trois
compartiments :

Compart. I pour le prélavage
Compart. II pour le lavage ou l'amidon-

Compart. III pour le rinçage ou l'amidon-

nage (amidon en poudre
dissous)

Quantité de linge adéquate

• La quantité maximale de linge dépend
de la nature du textile, du degré de sa­lissure ainsi que du programme sou­haité.

Observez impérativement les indica-

tions du "Tableau des programmes" !
Le résultat de lavage est amoindri si le
tambour est trop rempli.

Essayer, dans la mesure du possible,

de toujours exploiter au maximum la
capacité de remplissage du tambour.

Porte de remplissage

La porte est verrouillée pendant le dé-

La porte de remplissage se laisse ouvrir

• Toujours verser la lessive et les produits
d'entretien avant le début du cycle.

Doseurs

L'utilisation de sachets-doseurs ou de bou­les-diffuseuses permet de mettre la lessive
directement dans le tambour.

Ceci n'est naturellement valable que

pour les programmes sans prélavage.

Lessive liquide

Pour l'utilisation de lessives liquides ou en
gel, observez ce qui suit :

• Ne pas utiliser de lessive liquide si

vous souhaitez laver avec la fonction
de départ différé.

• Ne pas utiliser la lessive liquide pour le

prélavage mais uniquement pour le la­vage.

En cas de départ différé ou de prélava-

A

ge avec une lessive liquide, le linge ris­que de se tacher.

• Utiliser la doseuse du fabricant de les­sive et observer impérativement les in­dications données sur l'emballage.

Choix de la lessive

Le choix du produit lessiviel tient compte
de la nature du linge, de sa couleur, de son
degré de salissure et de la température de
lavage souhaitée.

• Employer une lessive toutes tempéra­tures pour le linge blanc / coton de 60
à 95 °C, utiliser sinon une lessive pour
linge de couleur ou linge délicat.

• Pour la laine, utiliser uniquement de la
lessive pour lainage.

• Les produits lessiviels modulables per­mettent un dosage individuel et l'ad­jonction d'agents de blanchiment et
d'adoucisseurs.

• N'employer que des produits utilisa­bles en machine.

Dosage de la lessive

La quantité de lessive dépend du volume
de linge à laver, du degré de salissure et de
la dureté de l'eau.

S'adresser à la compagnie de distribu-

tion d'eau locale pour connaître la du­reté de l'eau qui est distribuée.

• Réduire la dose de lessive pour de peti­tes quantités de linge ou du linge peu

Doser très exactement les lessives con-

Un excès de lessive a pour effet :

une formation de mousse trop abon­dante, de mauvais résultats de lavage
et de rinçage, une pollution de l'envi­ronnement.

Un manque de lessive a pour effet :

un linge grisâtre et le dépôt de calcaire
dans la machine.

Adoucissant

L'adoucissant se verse dans le
compartiment III du bac à produits.

• Respecter les doses indiquées sur l'em­ballage !

• Remplir sans dépasser l'index rouge.

• Diluer auparavant les adoucissants
trop visqueux.

Si le linge est séché en sèche-linge

électrique ou en plein air, l'emploi
d'adoucissant n'est pas nécessaire.

Amidon

• Comme pour l'adoucissant (voir plus
haut), utiliser le compartiment III pour
l'amidon et les produits d'empesage.

• Diluer l'amidon en poudre selon les in­dications de l'emballage et verser dans
le compartiment II.

Ne jamais utiliser simultanément

adoucissant et amidon dans un même
cycle de lavage.

• Nettoyer le tambour après amidonna­ge.

Afficheur

Chaque paramètre ou état de l'appareil est
indiqué en texte clair sur l'afficheur :

– Paramétrage général de l'appareil,

heure, sécurité enfants, etc ;

– Paramètres concernant le programme,

par ex. le programme, la température,
la vitesse d'essorage, la fin de
programme ;

– Messages sur le déroulement du pro-

gramme signalant son état d'avance­ment ;

– Messages d'alarme signalant une si-

tuation exceptionnelle de la machine ;

– Messages d'erreur indiquant par ex.

qu'il faut contacter le service après­vente.

Vous trouverez l'ensemble des messages et
leur signification au chapitre "Messages de
l'afficheur".

Lorsqu'aucun programme n'est sé-

lectionné, l'afficheur s'assombrit au
bout d'une minute env. (par économie
d'énergie).

L'afficheur est réactivé lorsque le sélec­teur de programme ou les boutons

Modifier la langue de l'afficheur

La langue des messages de l'afficheur est
présélectionnée avant la sortie d'usine.

Pour modifier la langue :

3. Appuyer sur la touche »Heure«
pour confirmer la sélection de la lan­gue. L'afficheur s'arrête de clignoter.

Réglage de l'heure

L'heure doit être réglée

– lorsque l'appareil est raccordé au sec-

teur,

– après une coupure de courant,
– lors du passage à l'heure d'été / d'hi-

ver.
Lorsque l'heure n'a pas été réglée, l'af-

ficheur clignote et indique " 0.00 ".

Marche à suivre :

1. Placer le sélecteur de programme sur
»Stop«.

2. Appuyer une ou deux fois sur la tou­che »Heure« jusqu'à ce qu'un mes­sage clignotant apparaisse, par ex. :

IL EST 12:00

3. Pendant que l'afficheur clignote, tour­nez le sélecteur horaire jusqu'à ce
que l'heure exacte soit réglée, par ex. :
" IL EST 13:00 ".

4. Au bout de quelques secondes, l'affi­cheur cesse de clignoter et indique
l'heure réglée :
" 13:00 ".

1. Enfoncer simultanément les deux tou­ches fléchées (Lavage court et surfliss)
pendant env. 2 secondes.
La langue actuellement sélectionnée
clignote sur l'afficheur.

2. Tourner le sélecteur d'essorage jus­qu'à ce que la langue souhaitée s'affi­che. L'afficheur continue de clignoter.

Modifier l'affichage horaire

La durée d'un programme peut être indi­quée de deux façons :

– Affichage de l' heure de fin du pro-

gramme , par ex.

"1200 FIN A 20:30" .

Ce mode d'affichage est présélection­né avant la sortie d'usine. Tous les
exemples illustrés se rapportent à ce
mode d'affichage.

– Affichage de la durée du programme

ou de la durée restante d'un pro­gramme, par ex.
"1200 TEMPS 01:30".

Pour modifier le mode d'affichage :

• Enfoncer simultanément les deux tou­ches fléchées (Intensif et Rinçage plus)
pendant env. 2 secondes.

L'afficheur indique le nouveau type
d'affichage :

–"AFFICHAGE HEURE DE FIN" ou
–"AFFICHAGE TEMPS RESTANT".

Programmes

Sélecteur de programmes

Le sélecteur de programmes peut être ac­tionné vers la droite ou la gauche.

Le programme de lavage est choisi à

l'aide du sélecteur ; la machine n'est
cependant mise en route que lorsque
le bouton »Départ/Pause« est en­clenché.

Vous trouverez une description succincte
des programmes dans le "Tableau des pro­grammes".

Programmes de base

Selon la nature du linge à laver, les pro­grammes de base suivants sont à votre dis­position :

• Blanc/Coton

• Couleur/Synthétique

• Délicat

• Laine / Lavage à la main

Chacun de ces programmes offre un cycle
de lavage complet – lavage, rinçage et
éventuellement essorage.

Toujours sélectionner le programme

selon la nature du linge, sa couleur,
son degré de salissure et la températu­re de lavage tolérée.
Respecter les symboles d'entretien figu­rant sur les étiquettes de votre linge !

Plusieurs températures sont possibles pour
chaque programme de base.

Ne pas dépasser la température stric-

tement nécessaire.
La consommation d'énergie augmente
avec la température de lavage.

Programmes spéciaux

Les programmes spéciaux suivants sont à
votre disposition pour des cas particuliers :

• Rinçage

Programme à sélectionner également
pour l'amidonnage.

• Essorage/Vidange

Ce programme essore à la vitesse
maximale.

Pour le linge délicat, réduire la vitesse

de rotation de l'essorage !
Ce programme peut aussi s'utiliser

après un arrêt en cuve pleine pour vi­danger l'eau (voir "Arrêt Cuve Pleine"

).

• Quick 30°C

Ce programme s'utilise par ex. pour
laver rapidement de petites quantités
de linge en coton/tissus mélangés.

Fonctions supplémentaires / Options

Les touches

Selon le programme (voir "Tableau

des programmes"), certaines fonctions
supplémentaires peuvent être sélec­tionnées.

• Enfoncez les touches souhaitées avant
la mise en marche du cycle.

• Les combinaisons illogiques de tou­ches sont impossibles, un signal sono­re se fait alors entendre.

Prélavage

Cette touche sélectionne un prélavage ; il
s'effectue à 40 °C.

• Un prélavage n'est utile que pour du
linge très sale.
Sans prélavage, vous économisez de
l'énergie, de l'eau, de la lessive – et du
temps.

Intensif (Intensive)

Cette touche allonge la durée du lavage.
La lessive agit plus, vous pouvez laver à
une température inférieure – et économi­ser jusqu'à 35% d'énergie.

• Avec cette touche, lavez le linge blanc
normalement sale à 60 °C au lieu de
95 °C.

• Avec cette touche, lavez le linge cou­leur synthétique normalement sale à
40 °C au lieu de 60 °C.

Rinçage plus

Cette touche active un rinçage supplé­mentaire.

• Utilisez cette fonction que si vous êtes
sujet à certaines allergies.
La consommation excessive d'eau nuit
à l'environnement – et à votre porte­monnaie.

• Lorsque le système de détection de
mousse détecte une surdose de lessi­ve, un rinçage supplémentaire se dé­clenche automatiquement.

Lavage court

Cette touche réduit la durée du lavage.

• Utilisez surtout cette touche pour de
petites quantités de linge ou un linge
peu sale.

surfliss (Repassage facile)

Si vous appuyez sur cette touche, le mou­vement du tambour sera réduit et l'essora­ge limité afin d'éviter de froisser le linge. Le
niveau d'eau sera de surcroît plus élevé.

• N'utilisez cette touche que pour du
linge facilement froissable.

La capacité de remplissage maximale

Bio

Cette touche laisse tremper le linge une
heure environ avant la mise en route du
cycle.

• Utilisez cette touche pour un linge très
sale ou des taches résistantes, p. ex.
de sang ou de chocolat.

Arrêt Cuve Pleine

Cette touche interrompt le cycle après le
dernier rinçage. Le linge reste dans l'eau
(et ne froisse pas).

• Le clignotement du voyant indique la
fin du cycle en cuve pleine.

• Les instructions à suivre sont décrites
au chapitre "EN RESUME".

Sécurité enfants /
Verrouillage du cycle

Lorsque la sécurité enfants est enclen-

chée,
– l'appareil éteint ne peut être mis en

route ;

– il n'est plus possible de modifier un

cycle en cours.

Enclenchement de la sécurité enfants :

• Appuyer simultanément sur les deux
touches fléchées (Bio et Arrêt Cuve
Pleine) pendant env. 2 secondes jus­qu'à ce que ce message apparaisse :
"CYCLE VERROUILLE".

• Lorsqu'un cycle est en cours, apparaît
par ex. le message suivant :
"CYCLE VERROUILLE SUR BLANC/
COTON 60 °C".

Lorsque le sélecteur de programme est

positionné sur »Stop«, le cycle s'inter­rompt et le message suivant s'affiche :
"CYCLE VERROUILLE: REVENIR
SUR …".

• Dans ce cas, sélectionner tout d'abord
le cycle initial puis ôter la sécurité en­fants.

Ôter la sécurité enfants :

• Appuyer simultanément sur les deux
touches fléchées (Bio et Arrêt Cuve
Pleine) pendant env. 2 secondes jus­qu'à ce que ce message apparaisse :
"CYCLE DEVERROUILLE".

Sélection de l'essorage

La vitesse maximale adaptée pour l'es-

sorage est automatiquement présé­lectionnée pour chaque programme
(voir "Tableau des programmes").
L'afficheur indique sur la gauche la va­leur actuelle – en tours par minute (vi­tesse variant selon le modèle).

Pour un linge particulièrement délicat, il
est conseillé de restreindre la vitesse.

• Tourner le sélecteur d'essorage
permet de sélectionner la vitesse de
rotation – ou de renoncer à un essora­ge :
Vitesse d'essorage "0".

• Si la fonction essorage a été désac­tivée, aucun essorage ne sera activé en
fin de programme, l'eau sera unique­ment pompée.

Plus la vitesse d'essorage est élevée,

moins l'humidité résiduelle est impor­tante.
Si le linge doit ensuite sécher en sè­che-linge, sélectionner la vitesse maxi­male possible – pour économiser de
l'énergie lors du séchage.

FIN A 20:30

Départ différé

Avec la fonction départ différé, vous pou­vez retarder le départ du programme selon
vos besoins.

Ne pas utiliser de lessive liquide dans

ce cas ! Risque de formation de taches
sur le linge.

Régler l'heure à laquelle le programme

2. Positionner à nouveau le sélecteur de
programme sur le programme souhai­té.

3. Appuyer sur la touche »Départ/Pause«

pour démarrer le programme.

La durée du programme dépend du pro­gramme choisi et des fonctions spéciales
activées.

Préparation et lancement d'un

1. Ouvrir complètement le robinet d'arri­vée d'eau. Contrôler que les tuyaux

Nettoyage et entretien

Bac à produits

A nettoyer en cas de besoin.

1. Ouvrir le bac à produits jusqu'en butée
et le retirer entièrement en tirant forte­ment dessus.

2. Rincer le bac à produits sous l'eau cou­rante chaude.

3. Retirer le siphon pour produits d'en­tretien (capuchon arrière dans le
compartiment III) ; nettoyer le siphon
et l'ouverture dans le tiroir sous l'eau
chaude courante, déboucher l'ouver­ture avec une aiguille le cas échéant.

Replacer le siphon.

4. Enlever les résidus de lessive des glis­sières du bac à produits avec une
éponge.

5. Éliminer le tartre des siphons (du com­partiment).

Porte de remplissage et tambour

Nettoyer après chaque lessive :

• Essuyer avec une éponge les plis du
joint en caoutchouc et vérifier qu'il n'y
a pas d'objets restés coincés.

• Contrôler que le tambour ne contient
pas d'objets.

La présence d'objets métalliques peut

rouille. Dans ce cas : Nettoyer le tam­bour avec un produit nettoyant pour
acier inoxydable. Ne pas utiliser de lai­ne d'acier ni d'éponges abrasives !

• Nettoyer la carrosserie avec de l'eau
savonneuse, un détergent doux ; sé­cher avec un chiffon doux.

• Ne nettoyer le tableau de commande
qu'avec un chiffon doux et humide.

Ne pas utiliser d'éponges abrasives ni

Filtre de pompe de vidange

Cette machine est munie d'une circu-

lation automatique des produits lessi­viels permettant d'exploiter au mieux
le produit de lessive.

• Pour un fonctionnement parfait de
cette fonction, nettoyer le filtre de
pompe de vidange environ tous les
40 cycles de lavage !

• Le nettoyer également lorsque des ob­jets (pièces de monnaie, boutons, soc­quettes de bébé, etc.) bloquent la
pompe de vidange.

• Avant de nettoyer, évacuer l'eau rési­duelle (voir plus bas).

Évacuation de l'eau résiduelle

Évacuer complètement l'eau…

• avant de nettoyer le filtre de pompe
de vidange ;

• avant de transporter l'appareil (par
ex. pour un déménagement) ;

• lors d'une coupure de courant (en

Filtre d'arrivée d'eau

Les nettoyer lorsque l'arrivée d'eau ne s'ef­fectue que très lentement ou plus du tout.

1. Éteindre l'appareil et fermer le robinet
d'arrivée d'eau.

2. Dévisser le tuyau d'arrivée d'eau.

3. Retirer le filtre du système "Aquastop"
ou "Aquastop PLUS" (selon le modèle)
avec une pince pointue ou une pince
universelle.

avec une pince universelle ou une pin­ce pointue, le nettoyer puis le remon­ter.

5. Une fois toute l'eau évacuée, dévisser

de la pompe sont mobiles.

7. Replacer le filtre de pompe et le revis­ser (dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre). Refermer le clapet de vidan­ge et le portillon.

5. Revisser le tuyau d'arrivée d'eau ferme­ment à la main.

6. Ouvrir entièrement le robinet d'arrivée
d'eau et vérifier l'étanchéité des rac­cords.

Détartrage

Il n'est pas nécessaire de détartrer l'appa­reil si le produit lessiviel est bien dosé.

• En cas de besoin, utiliser uniquement
un détartrant spécialement conçu
pour les lave-linge. Respecter impérati­vement les consignes mentionnées sur

Die Tragfähigkeit des Fußbodens muss

Wenn Sie z.B. die Waschmaschine und
einen Trockner aufeinander stellen,
können diese – beladen – ein Gesamt­gewicht von 160 kg erreichen.

Bei Aufstellung auf einen Sockel:

Aufnahmen für die vorderen Gerätefü­ße anbringen, damit das Gerät beim
Schleudern nicht herunterfällt. (Kun­dendienst Bestell-Nr. 0005323700)

Wichtig:

• Gerät nicht auf das Netzkabel stellen.

• Mindestens 1 cm Abstand zu Wänden
oder Möbelstücken einhalten.

• Nur auf festem Untergrund aufstellen,
nicht auf Langflorteppichen o.Ä.

Türanschlag wechseln

Wenn Sie die Einfülltür zur anderen Seite
hin öffnen wollen, können Sie den Tür­anschlag vom Kundendienst wechseln las­sen.

Unterbau

Das Gerät kann unter eine Arbeitsplatte
untergebaut werden. Hierfür ist ein Ab­deckblech erforderlich (Kundendienst Be­stell-Nr. ET 9.38.662.31).

Nur autorisierte Fachkräfte dürfen den

Unterbau vornehmen.

Außerdem empfehlen wir, unter den Ge­rätefüßen zwei Gleitbleche anzubringen.

Gerät ausrichten

Benötigtes Werkzeug:
Gabelschlüssel 17 mm, Wasserwaage.

1. Mit dem Schlüssel die Kontermuttern
der Gerätefüße lösen.

2. Gerätefüße verstellen, bis das Gerät
waagerecht steht und nicht wackelt.

3. Wichtig: Mit dem Schlüssel alle Kon­termuttern wieder festdrehen.

Wasserzulauf anschließen

Sie können das Gerät an Wasserhähne mit
3/4-Zoll-Rohrgewinde anschließen.

Wichtig:

• Den zulässigen Wasserdruck (siehe
„Technische Daten“) berücksichtigen.
Bei höherem Wasserdruck ein Druck­minderventil montieren.

• Nicht an einen Heißwasserbereiter
(Durchlauferhitzer oder druckloser
Boiler) anschließen, da der Wasser­druck nicht ausreicht.

• Schlauchverlängerungen beim Kun­dendienst erfragen. Keine selbstgebas­telten Verlängerungen mit Schlauch­klemmen o.Ä. verwenden!

• Nur den mitgelieferten neuen Schlauch
verwenden, keinen vorhandenen alten!

• Schlauch knickfrei verlegen!

Benötigtes Werkzeug:
Keines. (Keine Rohrzange verwenden!)

1. Falls der Zulaufschlauch noch nicht
montiert ist, das abgewinkelte Ende
„gut handfest“ an der Geräte­rückwand anschrauben.

2. Das andere Ende des Zulaufschlauches
„gut handfest“ am Wasserhahn an­schrauben.

Aquastop PLUS

Der „Aquastop“ bzw. „Aquastop

PLUS“ (je nach Modell) sperrt die Was­serzufuhr ab, wenn einmal eine Un­dichtigkeit auftreten sollte.

3. Den Wasserhahn voll aufdrehen und
prüfen, ob die Anschlussstellen dicht
sind; Wasserhahn wieder zudrehen.
Falls nötig, Dichtungen und Ver­schraubungen korrigieren.

Wasserablauf anschließen

Sie können den Ablaufschlauch am Rand
eines Wasch- bzw. Spülbeckens oder Ihrer
Badewanne anbringen – oder fest an ein
Abflussrohr (Siphon) anschließen.

Wichtig:

• Den Schlauch höchstens 100 cm über
dem Fußboden verlegen, damit die
Laugenpumpe abpumpen kann.

• Das Wasser muss ungehindert abflie­ßen können. Handwaschbecken mit
kleinem Abfluss eignen sich nicht.

• Das Schlauchende darf nicht in das
abgepumpte Wasser eintauchen.

• Schlauchverlängerungen beim Kun­dendienst erfragen. Keine selbstgebas­telten Verlängerungen mit Schlauch­klemmen o.Ä. verwenden!

• Nur den mitgelieferten neuen Schlauch
verwenden, keinen vorhandenen alten!

• Schlauch knickfrei verlegen!

Befestigung des Schlauchhalters:

1. Den mitgelieferten Schlauchhalter auf
das Schlauchende ziehen.

Festanschluss an einen Siphon:

ein Abrutschen des Schlauches zu ver­hindern. Überschwemmungsgefahr!

• Den mitgelieferten Gummischlauch
zwischen Ablaufschlauch und Siphon
befestigen und mit zwei Schlauch­schellen sichern. Schlauchschellen
sind im Fachhandel erhältlich.

Schließen Sie das Gerät an eine vor­schriftsmäßig installierte und hinreichend
abgesicherte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose an.
Wichtig:

• Der Anschluss muss den Vorschriften
des Landes und Ihres Energieversor­gungsunternehmens entsprechen.

• Nach dem Aufstellen muss der Netz­stecker zugänglich sein.

• Bei einem Festanschluss muss ein
Hauptschalter mit mindestens 3 mm
Kontaktabstand verwendet werden.

• Spannung und Absicherung des Gerä­tes sind auf dem Typenschild an der
Rückwand angegeben.

Das erste Mal

Wenn ein Signalton ertönt oder sich

das Gerät nicht einschalten lässt, siehe
„Probleme und Störungen“.

• Nach dem Anschließen stellen Sie bit­te die Uhr, siehe „Uhrzeit einstellen“.

• Wenn Sie die Sprache für die Display­Meldungen ändern wollen, siehe „Dis­play-Sprache ändern“.

Um Prüfwasserreste auszuspülen, sollten
Sie ein erstes Mal ohne Wäsche waschen:

1. Wasserhahn ganz aufdrehen. Prüfen,
ob die Schläuche fest sitzen.

2. Prüfen, ob die Trommel völlig leer ist;
Einfülltür schließen.

3. Etwas Waschmittel in Kammer II fül­len; Waschmittelschublade schließen.

4. Programmwähler auf »Koch-/
Buntwäsche 60 °C« stellen.
Schleuderwähler so drehen, dass
die Drehzahl (links im Display) auf
dem maximalen Wert steht.

5. Taste »Start/Pause« drücken.
Bei ungewöhnlichen Geräuschen oder

(Münzen, Kugelschreiber, Büro­klammern) entfernen. Kleine
Wäschestücke (Babysöckchen,
Strumpfhosen) in einen Stoffbeutel
o.Ä. stecken.

• Gardinen besonders vorsichtig behan­deln! Nicht rostfreie Gardinenrollen
und loses Bleiband entfernen. Nicht
entfernte Gardinenrollen in einen
Stoffbeutel o.Ä. stecken.

• Reißverschlüsse schließen, lose Knöpfe
annähen, aufgetrennte Nähte und Ris­se ausbessern.

• Nur Wollsachen mit Kennzeichnung
„maschinenwaschbar“ bzw. „wasch­maschinenfest“ oder „Handwäsche“
waschen – und nur im entsprechen­den Programm.

• Neue farbige Wäschestücke getrennt
waschen – sie können „ausbluten“.

• Starke Verschmutzungen besonders
vorbehandeln. Im Zweifelsfall in einer
Drogerie oder Chemischen Reinigung
nachfragen.

• Nur Färbe- bzw. Entfärbemittel und
Entkalker verwenden, die waschma­schinengeeignet sind. Unbedingt die
Packungsangaben beachten!

Die richtige Füllmenge

• Die maximale Füllmenge hängt von
der Wäscheart, dem Verschmutzungs­grad und dem gewünschten Wasch­programm ab.

Dieses Programm verwenden Sie auch

• Schleudern/Abpumpen
Dieses Programm schleudert mit ma­ximal möglicher Drehzahl.

Bei empfindlicher Wäsche sollten Sie

Dieses Programm können Sie auch

verwenden, wenn das Gerät im Spül­stop hält und Sie Wasser abpumpen
wollen (siehe „Spülstop“ ).

• Quick 30°C
Dieses Programm verwenden Sie z.B.,
um kleine Mengen Baumwolle/Misch­gewebe kurz durchzuwaschen.

Vorwäsche

Mit dieser Taste können Sie eine Vorwä­sche zuwählen; sie wird mit 40 °C durch­geführt.

• Eine Vorwäsche lohnt sich nur bei
stark verschmutzten Textilien.
Ohne Vorwäsche sparen Sie Energie,
Wasser, Waschmittel – und Zeit.

Intensiv

Diese Taste verlängert die Waschzeit im
Hauptwaschgang. Das Waschmittel kann
intensiver wirken, Sie können mit niedrige­ren Temperaturen waschen – und sparen
so bis zu 35% Energie.

• Normal verschmutzte Kochwäsche
waschen Sie statt mit 95 °C jetzt mit
60 °C und dieser Taste.

• Normal verschmutztes Pflegeleichtes
waschen Sie statt mit 60 °C jetzt mit
40 °C und dieser Taste.

Zusatzfunktionen/Optionen

Die Tasten

Je nach Programm (siehe „Programm-

tabelle“) können bestimmte Zusatz­funktionen per Tastendruck zugewählt
werden.

• Die gewünschten Tasten drücken Sie
vor Programmbeginn.

• Nicht sinnvolle Tastenkombinationen
sind gesperrt; dann ertönt ein Signal­ton.

Extra spülen

Mit dieser Taste bewirken Sie einen zu­sätzlichen Spülgang.

• Verwenden Sie diese Taste nur, wenn
Sie z.B. empfindlich gegen
Waschmittelrückstände sind.
Der erhöhte Wasserverbrauch belastet
die Umwelt – und Ihren Geldbeutel.

• Wenn das Schaumerkennungssystem
eine Waschmittelüberdosierung er­kennt, wird automatisch ein zusätzli­cher Spülgang durchgeführt.

Zeit sparen

Mit dieser Taste wird die Waschzeit ver­kürzt.

• Verwenden Sie diese Taste vor allem
bei kleinen Wäschemengen oder ge­ringer Verschmutzung.

surfliss (Knitterschutz)

Wenn Sie diese Taste drücken, wird die
Trommelbewegung reduziert und das
Schleudern begrenzt, um Knitterbildung
zu verringern. Außerdem wird mit höhe­rem Wasserstand gewaschen.

• Verwenden Sie diese Taste daher nur
bei knitterempfindlicher Wäsche.

Spülstop

Wenn Sie diese Taste drücken, hält das
Programm nach dem letzten Spülgang.
Die Wäsche bleibt im Wasser liegen (Knit­terschutz).

• Sie erkennen das Erreichen des Spül­stops am Blinken der Anzeige.

• Was dann zu tun ist, finden Sie unter

Kindersicherung/Programmsperre

Wenn die Kindersicherung eingeschal-

– lässt sich das ausgeschaltete Gerät

nicht in Betrieb nehmen;

– lässt sich ein laufendes Programm

nicht mehr ändern.

Wenn der Programmwähler auf

• In diesem Fall zuerst das ursprüngliche
Programm wieder einstellen und dann

Schleuderwahl

In jedem Programm stellt sich auto-

matisch die maximal sinnvolle Schleu­derdrehzahl ein (siehe „Programmta­belle“).
Das Display zeigt links den aktuellen
Wert an – in Umdrehungen pro Minu­te (Drehzahlen je nach Modell).

Bei besonders empfindlicher Wäsche soll­ten Sie die Drehzahl verringern.

Reinigung und Pflege

Waschmittelschublade

Bei Bedarf reinigen:

1. Schublade bis zum Anschlag öffnen
und dann mit einem kräftigen Zug
ganz herausziehen.

2. Schublade mit fließend warmem Was­ser reinigen.

3. Saugheber für Pflegemittel (Kappe
hinten in Kammer III) abziehen; Saug­heber und Öffnung in der Schublade
mit fließend warmem Wasser reinigen,
Öffnung ggf. mit einer Nadel durch­stoßen.

Saugheber wieder einsetzen.

4. Waschmittelreste in der Schubladen­führung abwischen.

5. Kalkablagerungen an den Einspüldü­sen (im Schubladenfach) entfernen.

Einfülltür und Trommel

Nach jeder Wäsche reinigen:

• Dichtungsfalte der Gummimanschet­te auswischen und auf Fremdkörper
kontrollieren.

• Trommel auf Fremdkörper kontrollie­ren.

Durch Fremdkörper aus Metall können

sich Rostflecken bilden. In diesem Fall:
Trommel mit Edelstahlreinigungsmit­tel reinigen. Keine Stahlwolle oder

Reinigen, wenn das Wasser nur noch sehr

Installation

Transit bar removal

Before the washing machine is operat-

ed, the transit bars must be removed!
Otherwise the appliance may be dam­aged in operation.

Required tool:
13 mm ring or box spanner.

them out, complete with the distance
sleeve; remove the tie-bar B (if exist­ing).

The proper location

Install the appliance in a stable, level posi­tion in frost-free surroundings.

The floor must have a sufficient load-

bearing capacity!
If, for example, you place the washing
machine and a dryer on top of one an­other, this combination can – when
loaded – reach a total weight of
160 kg.

If mounted on a pedestal:

Install seats for the front feet to pre­vent the appliance from falling off
when spinning. (Customer service cat­alogue no. 0005323700)

Important:

• Do not stand appliance on the power
cable.

• Keep at least 1 cm distance to walls of
other furniture.

• Place the appliance only on a firm
floor, do not place on a long-pile car­pet or similar.

Changing hinge position

If you wish to open the door to the other
side, you can have the hinge position re­versed from left hand to right hand or vice
versa by our service technician.

panel. Use a suitable tool (e.g. a
screwdriver) to push them in.

Store the transit bars in a safe place.

Built-under installation

This appliance can be installed under a
worktop. A cover plate is required for built­under installation (customer service cata­logue no. ET 9.38.662.31).

Only authorised specialists are permit-

ted to carry out a built-under installa­tion.

In addition, we recommend to fit two slid­ing plates under the appliance's feet.

Levelling

Required tool:
17 mm open ended spanner, spirit level.

1. Loosen the locking nuts on the feet
with the open ended spanner.

2. Adjust feet until the appliance is level
and does not rock.

3. Important: Tighten all locking nuts af­ter the machine has been levelled.

Connecting the water supply

This appliance can be connected to water
tabs with a 3/4" B.S.P. thread.

Important:

• Bear the permissible water pressure
and the max. inlet temperature in
mind (see "Technical specifications").
Install a pressure reducing valve if the
water pressure is higher.

• Do not connect to a water heater (in­stantaneous water heater or unpressu­rised boiler), as the water pressure is
insufficient.

• Check with customer service for hose
extensions. Do not use home-made ex­tensions with hose clamps or similar!

• Use only the new hose supplied with
the machine, not an old existing one!

• Ensure that there are no sharp bends
in the hose!

Required tool:
None. (Do not use a pipe wrench!)

1. If the inlet hose is not yet installed,
connect the offset end to the appli­ance's rear panel and tighten "finger­tight".

2. Connect the other end of the inlet
hose "finger-tight" to the water tap.

Aquastop /
Aquastop PLUS

Depending on model, the water hose

has an integrated "Aquastop" or
"Aquastop PLUS", which turns off the
water supply should a leakage occur.

3. Open the water tap fully and check all
connections for tightness; close water
tap again. Correct the position of seals
and screw couplings, if necessary.

Connecting the drain hose

The drain hose can be hung to a wash-ba­sin, sink or bathtub – or connected perma­nently to a siphon trap.

Important:

• Do not run the drain hose higher than
100 cm above floor level for the suds
pump to be able to pump out.

• The water must be able to run off un­hindered. Washbasins with a small
drain are not suitable.

• The end of the hose must not im­merge in the pumped-out water.

• Check with customer service for hose
extensions. Do not use homemade ex­tensions with hose clamps or similar!

• Use only the new hose supplied with
the machine, not an old existing one!

• Ensure that there are no sharp bends
in the hose!

Fastening the hose holder:

1. Pull the hose holder supplied over the
end of the drain hose.

2. Hang drain hose with hose holder on
the edge of basin or tub and secure
against slipping off – e.g. with a chain
tied around the water tap.

Connect the appliance to a properly in­stalled earthed outlet, which is protected
by a fuse of adequate capacity.
Important:

• The connection must conform to the
applicable regulations in your country
and your local Electricity Board.

• The power cable plug must be accessi­ble after installation.

• For a firmly fixed connection a master
switch with at least 3 mm contact
clearance must be used.

• Voltage and rated fuse protection of
the appliance are shown on the rating
label at the rear.

Note down the appliance's model and

identification number from the rat­ing label, in case you need help from
customer service.

• The stated voltage must match with
your mains voltage.

• Connection by extension cables or trail­ing sockets is not permitted.

• When connecting to the mains, the
programme selector must be set to
»Stop«.

placed by an authorised electrician.
Unless the appliance has been re­paired it must not be operated! Risk of
electric shock!

The right plug

This appliance comes with a fitted plug.
If this plug is not suitable for your socket

outlet, it must be cut off and the appropri­ate plug fitted (see below). The cut off
plug should be disposed of immediately to
prevent the possibility of electric shocks,
should it be plugged into a socket.

In the event of losing the fuse cover, the
plug must not be used until a replacement
fuse cover has been fitted; it can be ob­tained from your nearest electrical dealer.
The colour of the correct replacement fuse
cover is that of the coloured marks or in­serts in the base of the plug.

If the plug fitted is the moulded on type,
the fuse is a 13 amp ASTA approved fuse
to BS 1362.

With alternative plugs a 15 amp fuse must
be fitted either in the plug or in the mains
fuse box.

Fitting a different plug

The wires in the mains cable are coloured
in accordance with the following code:

Green and Yellow – Earth
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live

If you fit your own plug the colours of
these wires may not correspond with the
identifying marks on the plug terminals.

marked "E" or with the symbol , or

first washing cycle should be run without
any laundry.

1. Open water tap fully. Check to see
that all hoses are tight.

2. Check to see that the drum is empty;
close door.

3. Fill a small amount of washing deter­gent into compartment II; close deter­gent dispensing drawer.

4. Set the programme selector to »Cot­tons 60 °C«.
Turn the spin speed selector so
that the speed (on the left of the dis­play) is set to the maximum value.

5. Press the »Start/Pause« button.

if all transit bars have been removed
and the hoses are properly connected.

Preparing to wash

(material), colour, degree of soiling
and permissible washing temperature.

Preparing the laundry

Garments with metal parts (under-

wired bras, belt buckles, metal knobs,
etc.) can damage the appliance.
Remove metal parts, or put garments
in a laundry bag or similar!

• Empty pockets, remove all foreign ob­jects (coins, pens, paper clips). Put
small garments (baby socks, tights) in
a laundry bag or similar!

• Handle curtains with extra care! Re­move non-stainless runners and lead
tape not sewn in. Put tie runners,
which can not be removed, in a laun­dry bag or similar.

• Close zippers, sew on loose buttons,
mend unstitched seams and tears.

• Wash only woollens marked "machine
wash" or "hand wash" – and only with
the appropriate wash programme.

• Wash new, coloured cottons separate­ly – they could be "bleeding".

• Heavy stains should be treated appro­priately before washing. If in doubt,
check with a chemist or dry cleaner.

• Use only dyes/discolouring and an­tiliming agents suitable for machine
wash. Observe the information given
on the packing!

The right amount

• The max. load depends on the textile
type, the degree of soiling and the wash
programme.

Please note the information given in

the "Programme table"!
Overloading the drum adversely af­fects the washing result.

Always try to utilize the max. load.

While the programme is running, the

»Door locked« is on.

• Place the laundry loosely in the drum;
if required, give extra detergent (in
eco bag or proportioning ball) in the

• Close the door; push against the door
until you hear the door lock engage.

When using liquid or gel-like washing de­tergents, please note the following:

• Do not use liquid detergent if you

wish to use the delay-timer function.

• Use liquid detergent only for the main

wash cycle, not for pre-wash.
When using liquid detergent with the

delay-timer function or for pre-wash,
there is a risk of staining the textiles.

• Use the detergent maker's proportion­ing cup and follow the directions giv­en on the packing.

Choice of washing detergent

The type of detergent used depends on
the type of textile, colour, degree of soiling
and desired washing temperature.

• Use regular detergent for cottons (60 ­95 °C), otherwise use special deter­gent for coloured and delicate wash.

• Wash woollens only with a special de­tergent for woollens.

• Modular system washing detergents
allow for an individual addition of
bleaching agent and softener.

• Use only washing detergents suitable
for use in washing machines.

Detergent proportioning

The amount of detergent required de­pends on the laundry quantity, degree of
soiling and water hardness.

Check with your local water board for

the water hardness in your area.

• It is absolutely necessary you propor­tion as recommended on the packing!

• For small amounts of laundry or only
slight soiling use accordingly less de­tergent.

Proportion the highly concentrated

compact detergents very accurate!

Too much washing detergent causes:

heavy foaming, poor wash and rinsing
results, high burden on water.

Too little washing detergent causes:

the laundry to look grey, lime deposits
in the appliance.

Fabric softener

Fabric softener is filled in the compart­ment III of the detergent dispensing draw­er.

• Proportion as recommended on the
packing!

• Fill only up to the red max. mark.

• Dilute viscous fabric softeners with

water before filling in.
If you dry your laundry in a dryer or

outdoors, you do not need a fabric
softener.

Starch

• Fill liquid starch and finishing agent,
same as fabric softener (see above), in­to compartment III.

• Mix powdered starch as instructed on
the packing and fill into
compartment II.

Never use fabric softener and starch

• Press the required buttons before

• Any combination of functions not sen­sible can not be selected; a buzzer
sounds a warning.

Pre-wash

This button activates a pre-wash, which is
made at a temperature of 40 °C.

• A pre-wash is only worth while with
heavily soiled laundry.
Without pre-wash you save energy,
water, washing detergent – and time.

Intensive

This function extents the wash time of the
main-wash cycle. The washing detergent
can work more effective, you can wash at
lower temperatures – and thus save up to
35% on energy.

• Normal soiled laundry that can be
boiled you can now wash at 60 °C in­stead of 95 °C, plus this button.

• Normal soiled easy-cares you can
wash at 40 °C instead of 60 °C, plus
this button.

Extra rinsing

This function includes an extra rinse cycle.

• Use this function only if you are sensi­tive to washing detergent residue.
The increased water consumption is a
burden on the environment – and
your purse.

• If the foam detection system detects
an overdose of washing detergent, an
extra rinse cycle is included automati-

cally .

Short programme

With this button the wash time is short­ened.

• Use this function for small loads or less
soiled laundry.

surfliss (crease protection)

When this button is pressed, the drum ro­tation is reduced and spinning limited to
reduce creasing. In addition, the washing
is done at a higher water level.

• Use this function only for delicate fab­rics which crease easily.

Bio

If you activate this function, the laundry is
soaked for about an hour before the wash

remains in the water (to protect against
creasing).

• Once the rinsehold is reached, the in­dicator lamp begins to flash.

• Refer to "At a glance", to find out what
is to be done at this point.

Child-proof lock/Programme lock

When the child-proof lock is activated,

be started;

– a running programme can not be

changed anymore.

To activate the child-proof lock:

Detergent dispensing drawer

Clean when necessary:

1. Pull the drawer out as far as possible,
then remove it with a sharp pull.

2. Clean drawer under running warm
water.

3. Remove suction cap for fabric condi­tioner (cap at the rear of
compartment III); clean suction cap
and orifice in drawer under running
warm water, push a needle through
the orifice, if necessary.

Replace the suction cap.

4. Wipe of all residue detergent from the
drawer guides.

5. Remove any furring from the water-jet
nozzles in the drawer.

Door and drum

• In order for this system to work prop­erly, the suds pump filter needs to be
cleaned after approx. every 40 wash-
ing cycles!

• It must also be cleaned if foreign mat­ter (coins, buttons, baby socks, etc.)
block the suds pump.

• Pump off all remaining water before
cleaning (see below).

Draining the suds pump

• prior to transporting the appliance

(e.g. when moving house);

• in the event of a power failure (as a

Bezpodmínečně dodržujte následující po­kyny, jinak může dojít k zranění osob

Účel použití

• Tento přístroj smí být používán
výhradně k praní, máchání a odstře­ování textilií, na nichž je to přísluš­ným způsobem vyznačeno.

• Mohou být použity pouze prací
prostředky, avivážní prostředky
a přísady, které jsou vhodné pro auto­matické pračky.

• Je nutno bezpodmínečně dodržovat
pokyny pro ošetřování uvedené na

Přístroj zlikvidujte způsobem šetrným
k životnímu prostředí.

• U svého prodejce nebo střediska pro

pojistky! Jinak by se přístroj při provo­zu poškodil.

1. Pomocí klíče uvolněte všechny tři

Vhodné místo pro instalaci

Přístroj postavte co nejstabilněji, vodo­rovně, na místo chráněné před mrazem.

Důležité:

• Přístroj nestavte na síový kabel.

od stěn nebo nábytkových dílů.

• Přístroj instalujte výhradně na pevný
podklad, nikoli na textilní krytinu
apod.

Přemístění závěsu dvířek

Jestliže chcete, aby se dvířka otvírala na
opačnou stranu, můžete si nechat závěs
dvířek zákaznickou službou přemístit.

Vestavba

Přístroj může být vestavěn pod kuchyň­skou pracovní plochu. K tomu je nutný
krycí plech (objednací číslo ET

9.38.662.31 zákaznického servisu).
Vestavbu smí provádět výhradně

autorizovaní odborníci.

Kromě toho doporučujeme pod nožky
přístroje vložit dva kluzné plechy.

1. Pokud přívodní hadice dosud není na­montována, přišroubujte zahnutý
konec pouze silou ruky k zadní stěně
přístroje.

Vyrovnání přístroje

Potřebné nářadí:
Očkový klíč 17 mm, vodováha.

1. Pomocí klíče uvolněte pojistné matice
na nožkách přístroje.

2. Nožky přístroje nastavte tak, aby
přístroj stál vodorovně a nekýval se.

3. Pomocí klíče pojistné matice opět
řádně utáhněte.

Připojení přívodu vody

Přístroj můžete připojit k uzavíracímu ko­houtu s trubkovým závitem 3/4".

Důležité:

• Dejte pozor na přípustný tlak vody (viz
„Technické údaje“). Při vyšším tlaku
vody je nutno namontovat redukční
ventil.

• Nepřipojujte k ohřívači vody (průtoko­vému ohřívači nebo beztlakovému
bojleru), protože tlak vody u něj není
dostatečný.

• Prodloužené hadice si opatříte v zá­kaznickém servisu. Nepoužívejte
prodlužovací hadice vlastní výroby
s hadicovými svorkami apod!

• Používejte výhradně novou hadici do­danou s pračkou a nikoli původní, sta­rou hadici!

• Hadici vete bez zalomení!

Potřebné nářadí:
Žádné. (Nepoužívejte hasák!)

2. Druhý konec přívodní hadice pouze
silou ruky našroubujte na uzavírací ko­hout.

Aquastop /
Aquastop PLUS

Bezpečnostní jednotka „Aquastop“

modelu) uzavře přívod vody v případě,
že by došlo k úniku vody.

3. Uzavírací kohout zcela otevřte a zkon­trolujte, zda jsou místa připojení těs­ná, a potom uzavírací kohout opět
uzavřete. Pokud je nutné, opravte těs­nění a šroubení.

Připojení odpadu vody

Vypouštěcí hadici můžete zavěsit na okraj
umyvadla, výlevky nebo vany, nebo ji trva­le připojit k odpadnímu potrubí (sifonu).

Důležité:

• Hadice může být položena nejvýše
100 cm nad úrovní podlahy, aby čer­padlo bylo schopno odčerpávat vodu.

• Voda musí mít možnost bez překážek
odtékat. Umývátka s malým průřezem
odpadu jsou nevhodná.

• Konec hadice nesmí být ponořen
v odčerpané vodě.

• Prodloužené hadice si opatříte v zá­kaznickém servisu. Nepoužívejte
prodlužovací hadice vlastní výroby
s hadicovými svorkami apod!

• Používejte výhradně novou hadici do­danou s pračkou a nikoli původní, sta­rou hadici!

• Hadici vete bez zalomení!

Upevnění držáku hadice:

1. Dodaný držák hadice nasuňte na
konec hadice.

2. Vypouštěcí hadici s držákem hadice
zavěste na okraj umyvadla nebo vany
a zajistěte proti sklouznutí, např. po­mocí řetízku u vodovodní armatury.

Trvalé připojení k sifonu:

a identifikační číslo přístroje z typo­vého štítku pro případ, že je někdy bu­de zákaznický servis potřebovat.

• Napětí uvedené na štítku musí souhla­sit s napětím Vaší sítě.

• Připojení prostřednictvím prodlužo­vacího kabelu nebo zásuvkové lišty je
nepřípustné.

• Při připojování musí být volič pro­gramů v poloze »Stop«.

Jestliže je síový kabel poškozen,

opravy nesmí být přístroj používán!

Aby se vypláchly zbytky vody ze zkoušky,
měli byste první praní provést bez prádla:

1. Uzavírací kohout zcela otevřte. Zkon­trolujte, zda hadice řádně těsní.

2. Zkontrolujte, zda je buben úplně
prázdný a zavřete plnicí dvířka.

3. Naplňte malé množství pracího pro­středku do komory II a uzavřete dáv­kovací zásuvku pro prací prostředky.

4. Volič programů nastavte do polohy

Kusy prádla, které mají kovové díly

• Vyprázdněte kapsy a odstraňte

punčochové kalhoty) vložte do látko­vého sáčku apod.

• Zvláště opatrně je třeba zacházet se
záclonami! Odstraňte záclonové klad­ky, které nejsou korozivzdorné, a vol­né olověné pásky. Neodstraněné
záclonové kladky vložte do látkového
sáčku apod.

• Zdrhovadla uzavřete, uvolněné knoflí­ky přišijte, rozpárané švy a trhliny
opravte.

• Perte jen vlněné kusy s označením
„možno prát v automatické pračce“
resp. „odolné automatické pračce“
nebo „ruční praní“ a jen s použitím od­povídajícího programu.

• Nové barevné prádlo perte odděleně,
protože může dojít k zapuštění.

• Silné znečištění odstraňte zvláš.
V případě pochybností se zeptejte
v drogerii nebo v chemické čistírně.

• Používejte jen prostředky pro barvení
a odbarvování, které jsou vhodné pro
použití v pračkách. Bezpodmínečně
dodržujte údaje na obalu!

• Tekuté prací prostředky nepouží­vejte pro předpírání, ale pouze pro

hlavní praní.

Jednotlivá nastavení a stavy přístroje jsou
na displeji zobrazeny jako textová hlášení:

– Nastavení programu, např. program,

teplota, otáčky odstřeování, čas do­končení programu;

– Hlášení o průběhu programu, které

zobrazují stav probíhajícího programu;

– Varovná hlášení, která signalizují ne-

obvyklé stavy přístroje;

– Hlášení závad, například v případě, že

je nutno se obrátit na servisní středis­ko.

Přehled a vysvětlení jednotlivých hlášení
najdete v části „Hlášení na displeji“.

Pokud není zvolen žádný program,

rozsvícený displej po cca 1 minutě
zhasne (aby se uspořila energie).

Když však použijete volič programů,
tlačítko »Start/Pauza« nebo »Čas
hodin« , displej se opět rozsvítí.

Změna jazyka na displeji

Jazyk pro hlášení zobrazovaná na displeji
je předběžně nastaven z výroby.

Chcete-li změnit jazyk:

1. Stiskněte současně obě označená do­plňková tlačítka a držte cca 2 sekun­dy. Na displeji bliká aktuální jazyk.

2. Otáčejte voličem odstřeování , až
se objeví požadovaný jazyk.

3. Stisknutím tlačítka »Čas hodin«
potvrte tento jazyk.
Displej přestane blikat.

Nastavení času hodin

Čas hodin nastavte v těchto situacích:

– přístroj byl připojen k el. napájení,

Základní programy

Podle druhu prádla jsou k dispozici násle­dující základní programy:

• Prádlo k vyvářce a barevné prádlo

• Odolné syntetické prádlo

• Jemné prádlo

• Vlna / prádlo pro ruční praní

Každý z těchto základních programů ob­sahuje kompletní prací cyklus, a to praní,
máchání a případně odstřeování.

Program se stále přizpůsobuje nasta-

Vždy se řite symboly pro ošetřování
na textilních etiketách!

U každého základního programu je možno
nastavit různé teploty.

Teplotu volte jen tak vysokou, jak je

Tento program používejte také pro

Tento program odstřeuje s maxi­málními možnými otáčkami.

Tento program použijte např. k tomu,
aby se krátce přepralo malé množství
bavlny nebo směsové tkaniny.

Doplňkové funkce a mož­nosti

• Požadovaná tlačítka stiskněte před
spuštěním programu.

• Kombinace tlačítek, které nemají lo­gický smysl jsou zablokovány; v tom
případě zazní signální tón.

Předpírání

Tímto tlačítkem můžete zvolit předpírání,
které se provede při 40°C

• Předpírání se vyplatí jen u silně
znečištěných textilií. Praním bez před­pírání ušetříte energii, vodu, prací
prostředek a čas.

Intensive (Intenzivní)

Toto tlačítko prodlužuje dobu praní u hlav­ního pracího cyklu. Prací prostředek může
působit intenzivněji, a proto můžete prát
při nižších teplotách a ušetřit tak až 35 %
energie.

• Normálně zašpiněné prádlo k vyvářce
perte nyní místo při 95 °C při 60 °C se
stisknutým tlačítkem.

• Normálně zašpiněné prádlo k vyvářce
perte nyní místo při 60 °C při 40 °C se
stisknutým tlačítkem.

Máchání navíc

Toto tlačítko přidává jeden cyklus máchání
navíc.

• Toto tlačítko používejte tehdy, když
např. trpíte přecitlivělostí na zbytky
pracího prostředku. Zvýšená spotřeba
vody na druhé straně zatěžuje
prostředí a zvyšuje Vaše náklady.

• Jestliže systém sledování pěny zjistí
nadměrné dávkování pracího
prostředku, automaticky provede je­den cyklus máchání navíc.

• Toto tlačítko proto používejte jen
u prádla náchylného k pomačkání.

Maximální množství náplně je potom

Když stisknete toto tlačítko, bude prádlo
před zahájením vlastního cyklu praní asi

Stop po máchání

Když stisknete toto tlačítko, zastaví se
program po posledním máchání. Prádlo
zůstane ve vodě (ochrana proti pomač­kání).

• Dosažení polohy Stop po máchání
poznáte podle blikání kontrolky.

• Co je třeba udělat nyní, najdete v od­stavci „Stručný přehled“.

Dětská pojistka / Blokování progra­mu

Když je zapnuta dětská pojistka,

a nelze změnit probíhající program.

Úspora času

Tímto tlačítkem se doba praní zkracuje.

• Toto tlačítko používejte především při
menším množství prádla nebo nepa­trném znečištění.

surfliss (zamezuje pomačkání)

Když stisknete toto tlačítko, omezí se
pohyb bubnu a sníží se otáčky odstřeo­vání, aby se zamezilo pomačkání. Kromě
toho se praní provádí při vyšším stavu vo­dy.

Volba odstřeování

U každého programu se automa-

ticky nastavují maximální použitelné
otáčky odstřeování (viz „Tabulka
programů“). Na displeji na levé straně
se zobrazí aktuální hodnota – jako
otáčky za minutu (otáčky podle mode­lu).

U zvláště choulostivého prádla by měly
být otáčky odstřeování sníženy.

• Otočením voliče odstřeování
můžete změnit otáčky, nebo
odstřeování zcela zrušit:
Zobrazení otáček „0“.

• Jestliže je odstřeování zrušeno, ne­bude na konci programu zařazeno
odstřeování a bude pouze odčerpá­na voda.

Čím vyšší jsou otáčky odstřeování,

tím nižší je zbytková vlhkost prádla.
Jestliže chcete prádlo ihned poté sušit
v sušičce, zvolte maximální možné
otáčky, aby se ušetřila energie na
sušení.

Předvolba času spuštění

Pomocí funkce předvolby času můžete
podle potřeby odložit spuštění programu.

Přitom nepoužívejte žádný tekutý

Přitom nastavujete čas, kdy má být

Čištění a ošetřování

Dávkovací zásuvka pro prací

V případě potřeby vyčistěte:

1. Zásuvku otevřete až na doraz a potom
rázným tahem zcela vytáhněte.

2. Zásuvku vyčistěte tekoucí teplou vo­dou.

3. Násosku pro avivážní prostředek
(krytka vzadu v komoře III ) vytáhněte;
násosku a otvor v zásuvce vyčistěte
tekoucí teplou vodou, popřípadě otvor
propíchněte jehlou.

Násosku opět nasate.

4. Setřete zbytky pracího prostředku ve
vodicích drážkách zásuvky.

čerpadla vyčistěte. Zkontrolujte, zda
se lopatky čerpadla volně otáčejí.

7. Sítko čerpadla pracího roztoku opět
vložte a utáhněte (ve směru hodi­nových ručiček). Uzavřete vypouštěcí
a servisní klapku.

Sítko v přívodu vody

Vyčistěte, jestliže voda přitéká jen velmi
pomalu nebo nepřitéká vůbec.

5. Přívodní hadici opět silou ruky
přišroubujte.

6. Uzavírací kohout zcela otevřte a zkon­trolujte, zda jsou místa spojů těsná.
