These instructions are also available on the

Please take heed of this advice when installing
and using your appliance. These instructions
are intended to protect your safety and the
safety of others. Keep this manual with your appliance. If you sell or give the appliance to
anyone else, make sure that you also give them
this manual.
• In order to constantly improve our products,
we reserve the right to to make changes to their
technical, functional or aesthetic characteristics
in line with technological progress.
• Make a note of the references of your appliance on the "Consumer Service" page so that
you can readily find them in future.

Important precautions
• This appliance is designed for use by consumers in the home. Do not use it for commercial or
industrial purposes or for any other purpose for
which it is not intended.
• Unpack the appliance as soon as you receive
it. Check its general appearance. Make a note
of any reservations on the delivery slip and
keep a copy.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
under 8 and by persons with diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities, or persons
without any experience or knowledge, provided
that they are properly attended to or are given
the instructions on how to use the appliance in
complete safety and that any potential risks are
anticipated. Children must not play with this appliance. The appliance must not be cleaned and
maintained by unattended children.
• Caution: The accessible parts of this appliance may become hot when used with cooking
equipment.
Electrical risks
• All the power supply circuits must be disconnected before touching the connection terminals. If the power cord is damaged, it must be

Risk of asphyxiation
• The regulations applying to the evacuation of
air must be obeyed. The air must not be sent
into a duct used to evacuate fumes from appliances that use gas or other fuels (this does not
apply to appliances that only emit air into the
room).
• The room must be suitably ventilated when the
range hood is used at the same time as appliances that use gas or other fuels (this does not
apply to appliances that only emit air into the
room).
Risk of fire
• It is forbidden to flambé food or to turn on gas
rings that are not covered by a cooking recipient
beneath the hood, as the flames may sucked in
and damage the appliance.
• Keep a constant eye on fryers used beneath
the hood. When heated to very high temperatures, oil and fat can catch fire.
• Clean the appliance and replace the filters at

the recommended frequency. Accumulated deposits of grease can cause a fire.
• It is forbidden to use the hood above a fuel fire
(wood, coal, etc.).
• If the hood is installed above a gas-fired appliance, leave at least 70 cm between the top of
the range and the underside of the hood. If the
instructions of the range installed under the
hood specify a distance greater than 70 cm,
then this distance must be respected.

Installation should only be performed by installers and qualifi ed technicians.

Remove the protective fi lm from the cartridge fi lter before use.

— This appliance’s packaging material is recyclable. Help recycle it and protect the environment by dropping it off in the municipal receptacles provided for this purpose.
— Your appliance also contains a great amount of recyclable material. It is marked with
this label to indicate the used appliances that should not be mixed with other
waste. This way, the appliance recycling organised by your manufacturer will
be done under the best possible conditions, in compliance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact
your town hall or your retailer for the used appliance collection points closest
to your home.

— The cooker hood should be placed at a
distance of 65-75cm (26-30inch) from the
cooking surface for the best effect.
See Pic 1.
— Install the hook on a suitable place once
the installation height is xed, and keep it in
line. See Pic 2.
— Install the extension tube and chimney
on the cooker hood. See Pic 3.
— Put the cooker hood on the hook. After
adjusting the position, x the body with
safty screw. See Pic 4.

The two safty vents are positioned on
the back casing, with diameter of 6mm
Note
— Any installation work must be ca-
rried out by a qualifi ed electrician or competent person.
— Do not connect the ducting system of
the hood to any existing ventilation system
which is being used for any other appliance, such as warmer tube, gas tube, hot
wind tube.
— The angle of the bend of the ventilation
pipe should not be less than 120º; you must
direct the pipe horizontally, or, alternatively,
the pipe should go up from the initial point
and should be led to an outer wall.
— After the installation, make sure that the
cooker hood is level to avoid greasecollection at on end. See Pic. 5

3. To use the Speed press the “ ” button. The
motor has three speeds: Low, Medium, High.

— Tear down your cooker hood as per the
approach shown on Pic. 7
— You can clean the lter as below:
1. Soak them for about 3 minute in hot
water (40-50 degrees) with a greaseloosening detergent then brush it gently
with a soft brush. Please do not apply too
much pressure ,avoid to damage it .
2. It can be put into a dishwasher with
detergent ,set the temperature at around
60 degrees.
— Please do not use abrasive detergent for
it will damage the hood.
— Remove the lters see Pic.7.
— The charcoal lters (Pic.8) are located
at either end of the motor. Turn the
charcoal lters anti-clockwise until they are
unscrewed.
— Apply reverse procedure to uninstall the
charcoal lter.
Take the bracket and glass off and then take
the broken light bulb off, See Pic 9.
Fix the new light bulb,glass and bracket on.
Attention:Before changing the lights, ensure
that the appliance is not live.
Note
Make sure that cooker hood is shut
down before cleaning.
Warning:
the charcoal cannot be washed or recycled. It should be changed at at three or
six months according to your cooking habit

Ensure that:
• The power is not cut off.
• A speed has been selected.
Ensure that:
• The selected motor speed is suffi cient
for the quantity of smoke and vapours to
be cleared.
• The kitchen is suffi ciently ventilated to
allow for fresh air intake.
• The carbon fi lter is not worn (hood
operating in recycling mode).
Ensure that:
• The power is not cut off.
• The single-pole cut-off device was not
activated.

- or another quali ed mechanic who is an authorized agent for the brand appliances.
When making an appointment, state the full reference of your equipment (model, type and

• Avant d’accéder aux bornes de raccordement,
tous les circuits d’alimenta-tion doivent être déconnectés. SI le câble d’alimentation est endomagé, il doitêtre remplacé par le fabricant, son
service après-vente ou une personne dequalifacation similaire afin d’éviter un danger.
• La déconnexion peut être obtenue en prévoyant une fiche de prise de cou-rant accessible ou
en incorporant un interrupteur dans les canalisations fixesconformément aux règles
d’installation.
• Ne modifiez pas ou n'essayer pas de modifier

Risques d’incendie
• Il est interdit de flamber des aliments ou de
faire fonctionner des foyers gazsans récipients
de cuisson, au dessous de la hotte (les
flammes aspirées ris-queraient de détériorer
l'appareil).
• Les fritures effectuées sous l'appareil doivent
faire l'objet d'une surveillanceconstante. Les
huiles et graisses portées à très haute température peuventprendre feu.
• Respectez la fréquence de nettoyage et de
remplacement des filtres.L'accumulation de
dépôts de graisse risque d'occasionner un
incendie.
•Le fonctionnement au dessus d'un foyer à
combustible (bois, charbon…) n'estpas

• Lorsque la hotte de cuisine est placée au
dessus d’un appareil à gaz, la dis-tance minimale entre le dessus de la table et le dessous
de la hotte doit êtred’au moins 70 cm. Si les
instructions de la table de cuisson installée
sous lahotte spécifient une distance plus
grande que 70 cm, celle-ci doit être priseen
compte.

L’installation est réservée aux installateurs et techniciens qualifi és.

Avant la première utilisation du fi ltre cassette, retirez le fi lm de protection.
• RESPECT DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT
— Les matériaux d’emballage de cet appareil sont recyclables. Participez à leur recyclage
et contribuez ainsi à la protection de l’environnement en les déposant dans les conteneurs
municipaux prévus à cet effet.
— Votre appareil contient également de nombreux matériaux recyclables. Il est donc mar-
qué de ce logo a n de vous indiquer que les appareils usagés ne doivent pas
être mélangés avec d’autres déchets. Le recyclage des appareils qu’organise
votre fabricant sera ainsi réalisé dans les meilleures conditions, conformément à la directive européenne 2002/96/CE sur les déchets d’équipements
électriques et électroniques.
Adressez vous à votre mairie ou à votre revendeur pour connaître les points
de collecte des appareils usagés les plus proches de votre domicile.

— Veillez à respecter un écart minimum
de 65-75 cm (26-30 pouces) entre la table
de cuisson et la hotte aspirante, pour un
rendement d’aspiration performant. Voir
Image 1.
— Fixez l’ancrage à l’endroit correspondant,
en veillant à bien l’aligner. Voir Image 2.
— Introduisez le tube rallonge dans la hotte.
Voir Image 3.
— Accrochez la hotte à l’ancrage et ajustez
sa hauteur et sa verticalité à l’aide des vis
de réglage. Fixez le corps de la hotte à l’aide
de la vis de xation. Voir Image 4.

Remarque
Les deux conduits d’évacuation de
l’air vers l’extérieur, de 6 mm de diamètre,
se trouvent à l’arrière de la carcasse.
Remarque
— Cet appareil doit être installé par un
électricien agréé ou du personnel qualifi é.
— L’air vicié ne doit jamais être évacué
vers une cheminée en service rejetant des
fumées ou des gaz de combustion. Ne pas y
raccorder les conduits d’évacuation.
— Les conduits ne doivent comporter aucun
coude prononcé supérieur à 120º. Évacuer
l’air vicié de préférence horizontalement
vers le haut ou directement à l’air libre par
traversée du mur extérieur.
— Une fois la hotte installée, vérifi ez qu’elle
soit bien nivelée, afi n d’éviter l’accumulation
de graisse à l’intérieur. Voir Image 5.

3. Après avoir allumé l’appareil “ ”, vous
pouvez choisir la vitesse “ ” : Petite,
Moyenne ou Grande.

— Retirez les filtres, tel qu’indiqué sur
l’Image 7.
— Vous pouvez nettoyer les ltres comme
suit :
1. Plongez les ltres à graisse dans de
l’eau chaude (40-50 degrés) contenant
du détergeant liquide et laissez tremper
durant environ 3 minutes. Au besoin,
frottez légèrement avec une brosse
douce, en veillant à ne pas endommager
les ltres.
2. Vous pouvez les laver en lave-vaisselle,
à 60º C de température.
— Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs, pour
éviter d’endommager l’appareil.
— Retirez les ltres à graisse. Voir Image 7.
— Le ltre à charbon actif (Image 8) se trouve
à l’extrémité du moteur. Tournez le ltre dans
le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre
pour le dévisser complètement.
— Procédez à l’inverse pour installer le
nouveau ltre à charbon actif.
Retirez le cache et le hublot et ensuite
l’ampoule grillée. Voir Image 9.
Introduisez une nouvelle ampoule et
remettez en place le hublot et le cache.
Attention
Débranchez l’appareil avant de procé-
der à son nettoyage.
Attention :
Les fi ltres à charbon actif ne sont ni
lavables ni recyclables. Ils doivent être remplacés tous les trois ou six mois, en fonction
de leur usage plus ou moins intensif.

N’utilisez jamais de
tampons métalliques, de
produits abrasifs ou de
brosses trop dures.
Ce fi ltre retient les vapeurs
grasses et les poussières.
Il est l’élément assurant
une part importante de
l’effi cacité de votre hotte.
Dans le cas de taches
persistantes, utilisez une
crème non abrasive, puis
rincez à l’eau claire.
Ce fi ltre retient les odeurs
et doit être changé au
moins une fois par an en
fonction de votre utilisation.
Commandez ces fi ltres
chez votre revendeur (sous
la référence indiquée sur
la plaque signalétique
située à l’intérieur de la
hotte) et notez la date de
changement.
Pour nettoyer la
carrosserie et le hublot
d’éclairage, utilisez
exclusivement des
nettoyants ménagers du
commerce dilués dans de
l’eau, puis rincez à l’eau
claire et essuyez avec un
chiffon doux.
Utilisez un nettoyant
ménager du commerce,
puis rincez abondamment
et séchez. Ce nettoyage
peut être effectué dans
votre lave-vaisselle en
position verticale (ne pas
mettre en contact avec
de la vaisselle sale ou
des couverts en argent).
Attention :
Avant tout nettoyage et entretien, mettez d’abord la hotte hors tension, soit en
débranchant la prise de courant, soit en actionnant le disjoncteur/fusible.
