Introduction
The LS2000 portable printing machine is a shuttle head impact type of printer. It has a stepper motor drive
mechanism for fast printing. It is capable of printing on labels and sleeves.
Label registration is accomplished by optically sensing a “cut-out” in each label insuring proper label alignment
The LS2000 features five type sizes and each size can be scaled up to five times its original size in both width and
height. In addition to type scaling the LS2000 allows an adjustable line spacing feature. There are also three formats and full justification.
The display is a 4 line, 20 character liquid crystal display.
Files can be created and stored for later use. The base memory is 32K and is not upgradeable. The LS2000 also
has a computer download capability via the RS-232 serial port.
Print functions include multiple copies and automatic numeric and alphabetic serialization.
