DIVAR IP 2000 is an affordable, easy to use all-in-one
recording solution for network surveillance systems of
up to 16 channels (all channels pre-licensed). Running
the full Bosch recording solution including the
Video Streaming Gateway to integrate 3rd party
cameras, DIVAR IP 2000 is an intelligent IP storage
device that provides both, a professional video
recording solution and ease of operation.
DIVAR IP 2000 is a 4-bay mini tower unit that
combines advanced management and state-of-the-art
recording management into a single cost-effective,
plug and play IP recording appliance for IT-minded
customers which are seeking for a state-of-the-art
“second generation” NVR recording solution.

System overview

DIVAR IP 2000 utilizes a highly energy efficient,
embedded design at a very affordable price which
nevertheless boasts Bosch quality through-and­through.
Easy to install and operate, the DIVAR IP 2000 system
features wizard-based set-up and centralized
configuration to reduce installation times by as much
as 45%. All components are pre-installed and pre-

configured. Simply connect to the network and power
the unit up — DIVAR IP 2000 is ready to begin
recording straight out-of-the-box.

Functions

DIVAR IP 2000 features front-swappable SATA-II hard
drives providing up to 8 TB of gross storage capacity.
All system software is pre-installed and pre-activated —
creating an out-of-the-box ready-to-use video recording
appliance. The DIVAR IP 2000 system utilizes Microsoft
Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 (64-bit).

Remote viewing and configuration

DIVAR IP 2000 is designed for remote operation and
web based configuration — no need to plug in any
peripherals. A standard PC or tablet computer can be
used to set up the system in a few guided steps via the
web based configuration wizard. Video Security App
and Video Client offer advanced playback and live
viewing capabilities for all video devices connected to
the DIVAR IP 2000 system.

Instant real time access to video

View high quality HD video despite low or limited
bandwidth connections. Dynamic Transcoding
technology ensures you can view your video
immediately — anytime, anywhere.

Dynamic Transcoding retrieves the data from
DIVAR IP 2000 and subsequently decodes and
decompresses the data stream to a lower rate bit
stream tailored to the bandwidth of the connection.
When the video is paused, the instant detail
enhancement feature instantly displays the full HD
video.

Reliable storage and operation

For constant monitoring and management the
operating system is always running redundantly. This
way the user can be sure to be alerted in case an error
such as a hard drive failure appears. Critical health
states can be received as an email notification and
monitored via the web based dashboard. Disk failures
can easily be handled with a few guided configuration
steps. The web based configuration wizard provides
an option for redundant storage of the recorded video
data.

Cameras

The storage capacity of a DIVAR IP 2000 system can be
increased by mounting additional hard drives.

Notice

Bosch is not liable for system failures of units
equipped with non-Bosch hard drives if the non­Bosch hard drives are source of the issues.
